Littler in age that was...the draithix was starting to quickly out grow the ferret as well as was jumping off things more regularly as well as his clutch mate. "Maybe they had thier talk?" Though a blink and an odd look at the information that was given to him. "My daddy says that we elves don't say goodbye when we go away someplace far, because goodbye kinda means we won't see each other ever again. Maybe that's why. I think that man lives where my grandpa does."
"I wouldn't yell this time if you really wanted to to make yourself feel better. Really." Had to give a little sometimes on her side two, that was the thing with marriage, you had to compromise things. And fight, but all as long as you made up. Another roll of her eyes though. "You lay in the bed for long as I did and you'll want to be changing sheets a little more often to. Besides...I feel like red sheets this week." But an inquisitive look at the door, Sevilin being there when Malik opened it. Lord...what was wrong now? Sevilin never came to thier bedchamber unless there was something wrong.
"Expected, I'm quite sure." One of those motions of follow me as he turned on his boot heel. He wasn't stupid...Piper getting detailistic wind of the altercations between Malik and Zahara, made for an upset Piper. And he did not want to hear a surface elf screeching about things right now. "You and me need to have words about Zahara and what you think you have rights to do."

Malik smirked lightly, clasping his hands behind his back adn following Sevilin.
"Technically, I can do whatever I want to members of my House. But I get the point already. You don't want me manhandling Zahara. And I don't blame you, seeing as you both seem to have finally come to your senses reguarding each other."
a slight smirk at the other drow.
"and had I thought she'd respond to simple talking without letting it go in one ear and out the other, or more blatantly ignoring me...I wouldn't have used force in the first place. but as the past had shown, she needed to be brutalized a bit before she'll listen. a manner of proving superiority or something."

"Yes but you see. You have your House and I have my House. I'm part of yours because I work for you. Don't live with you though. Closer you have then the more jurisdiction. Zahara lives with me and I've been informed that we're engaged to. So I think she falls more into mine now. That being said, bad excuse on your first point." Stopping at some undetermined point and turning to Malik. "If we reversed things, I'm sure you'd beat me for doing such a thing to your surface elf...obviously though I'm not stupid enough to throw a punch at you and even if I was I'm not allowed to play with the other kids." Point to his face at that one.
But a shake of his head. "No I don't think so. The only people you don't throw around are your wife and son, everyone else is fair game. Excuses don't suit you Malik. If you knew how to approach her to stopped to ask, you'd know that brutilizing her is not the best way. I found that out quite a few years ago. But I'm making a point here. You have an issue with her, you either go through me first or try a little reform. I don't like the thought of having bones to pick with you or physical fights to be had, however interesting they may be. I know you hate her, but I hate yours too...I just keep my hands to myself."
A pause and then a slight glare. "I'm sure it just tickles you purple that you get to say 'I told you so' and then can bask in your own glory because you can say you were always right about her and I?"

"Wrong. not everyone is fair game. I wouldn't dare lay a hand on Broog, or Tremor for that matter. And I didn't strike Lateef, though I was sorely tempted to. there are limitations even to my rough handling. Zahara and I don't like each other, there's no secret about that. But I did learn before you came here that Zahara didn't respond to me in anyway except through physical force. and So has Piper. her first reactions to anger or upset feelings to to hurt someone. Piper's been on the receiving end of that."
But a crossing of arms at his chest.
"If the roles were reversed, your probably right. And I fully expected your polearm to be brandished. I don't hate like you do Piper. Zahara has done things to rouse my hatred and my ire. it's not simply her skin color that gets my hate. But, either way that point is moot. I give you my word then if I get to a frustrated point vis-a-vis what recently transpired, I'll come to you first and see if she'll respond better to you, agreed?"
a slight chuckle at the last comment.
"you have no idea how much. In fact, I think I'll have a plaque made of that comment and put it on the wall."

"If you have the right means and the right push, I bet they are. You're a powerkeg Malik. Which is indeed amsuing to watch when it comes to those not associated with us, I will admit. Otherwise not so much." A slight shrug, "As for the women, what's between them is between them...an affair that is better for all parties outside to not get involved in unless they have to." Wasn't it nice knowing you were right though? Muchly. "It would of been, but again, facial trauma....do something too strenuous and I get yelled at. Don't care for the yelling right now. And I hate her for more than just her skin...it's a back burner hate too, but all the same. But I hold you to your word anyway...there's a trick to getting her to see the error of her ways, not that I'm going to tell it to you, but it's better. You handle yours and and I'll handle Zahara." But a roll of red eyes. "You've been giggling joyfully yet menacingly ever since you found out, haven't you? Won't that be lovely....'I told you so, love Malik.' "

"Well I wouldn't say giggling. more like downright laughter or chuckling. Piper's the one for giggles. But oh I am going to love pointing this out every time you think I'm wrong about something. if only to see you grudgingly admit it before you argue some more."
A grin at Sevilin, though he got a more serious look.
"I did a little..snooping with your son, using my sword. like you I was curious as to what Khavier may have lured him with or tried to talk him into. and the results..well they are a bit interesting. Though I don't think you need to know about it's entirety, lets say that he attempted to get Zykariel to think of him as a grandfather, or uncle. a relation to him, trying to feed on his obvious enjoyment in the family atmosphere."
let the cat out of the bag, yet not.
"which also explains his tantrum when you tried to make him unable to see him again. Probably something that needs to be addressed. I don't think either of us want anyone in this place on friendly terms with that dog if at all possible."

Careful or it wll go to your head." But a frown at the other about sword information. "Try to refrain from using the sword on the child..." shaking his head lightly though a slightly inquisitive look at the mentioned information. "Quite the ingenous angle to approach the boy with. And of course effective...doesn't help that most drow have a stoic look to them. But we planned to talk to him about Khaiver anyway. Pretty sure we'll have to counter child logic too. I hate child logic."

"It's much easier on a child than you might think. I do it to Malikhai all the time. just need a particular word adn you get all the general information related. they don't even notice. Not like your mind or others that have natural defenses."

Might wanna pull back on that mind invasion thing a little...that's how telepathy gets crippled. Someone plays wrongly around it. Probably the reason Piper's is busted." Common knowledge around the place these days. Though a cross of his arms. "I can handle my own child rearing, thank you. And I know you wouldn't say anything, but you would snicker about it. I stay out of some of your affairs, you can stay out of mine. After all, I do have runes all over this place, but I don't spy on what's going on around here constantly.

Some drow lie all the time, and some drow use half truths. take a moment to reflect on that. you'll have to choose your words carefully, he won't. he'll throw every arguement in the arsenal at you, and probably use Khavier's own comments to back himself up. A nod and a shrug.

Back to his room with him, closing the door.

"That's the way it always is with children...and yet, I fear now is the easiest time we'll have with them." Kids...grew up into teenagers...even elven teenagers could be trying. But a shake of his head lightly, watching Malik meander off. "It's more fun to not be in residence...and just enough to keep informed." Thus turning on his heel and heading back downstairs to Zahara. "See, all taken care of...no more worries about Malik."
"And just like that you're off to vie for more attention from others. You really are a trip." Shaking her head lightly as she was sitting on the bed, flinf her nails down some in random boredom and need to do things. She had been like that as well since she had come back. "Go have your fun...I'm going to go break horses. Maybe it'll calm me down..."

Pause in filing her nails, raising her own eyebrow at him as he promptly took to dousing her little set of plans and then promptly changed his own as well. Well he was adamant about not letting her go do anything too much right now wasn't he? "If Serino will let me ride him. Otherwise, I have to take another." Serino was being...well pissy and picky right now...but she didn't blame him, he had a trying time too. Even further amusement though, "Aw, you'd eat travel food? How sweet...long as Keely's watching Malikhai."

"Maybe...or maybe they're both covering for someone else. Maybe we never actually caught the real traitor and they are just trying to make us think we did." He frowned for a moment and thought about it then shrugged. "Then that means he'll be back. I just hope it's really soon."
She was a very happy woman. The tailor had designed a new outfit and pushed it at her when she'd requested that he fix her son's cloak. She had been about to go try it on when Sevilin reappeared. "Oh good." She tilted her head and raked her gaze along him for a moment then quirked an eyebrow. "Don't move." Disappearing into some obscure place, she changed into the outfit and then slowly came back out. "What do you think? I know it's different but...I don't know, I'm kind of liking it." It was pants, but not tight fitting pants, more of loose belly dancer pants in the same gauzy material that showed off the darkness of her skin beneath. Of course the fabric was lined with a deep purple silk around her more intimate areas much like the slave pants Malik had forced her into so long ago. Aside from her usual gloves in the same gauzy material as the bottoms, a simple collared top that curved around her upper back and tied just below her breasts was the only other piece of fabric. From her hips swung a simple golden chain belt looped loosely around her waist and secured with a large amethyst, the longer part left to swing freely around her thighs. Even her boots were the proper color though they came up a bit too high for the outfit. She spun for him slowly, then waited. "So?"

"I'll make Serino be a good stallion. or Ramoth will. But we can get Keely to watch the kids for a bit and we'll have ourselves some time to enjoy and you get a ride and Ramoth gets her time with me so she isn't quite so pissy with the help. Everyone wins. not to mention I think Sevilin nad Zahara want some alone time with Zykariel and the Rainsongs probably coudl use a bit more relaxation without interruptions. or I might just find it humorous to leave Caprice with Sevilin and Zahara."
