I don't hate it Mello. If you are going to change it, however, I'd go for a white motif. White is where it's at. Saoshyant krome_devil *shakes head and whipes tears* It's ok. Almost no one likes it T-T *goes to make a new avi* Don't worry, krome, you were at a psychological disadvantage. Yellow is the hardest color for the eye to take in, so it's quite overpowering if you use it too much. It also tends to make people excited, agitated, and more easily angered. Babies cry more often in yellow rooms. ...Hooray for random facts. Umm... I believe you are mis-informed. Yellow is the easiest color for the eye to distinguish. Why do you think that the sun appears yellow? If our eyes had no tendecny towards any color, it would appear white. Yellow may be agitatingly bright and all, but you can very easily tell differences in its shade and hue, as compared with blue (the opposite color on the light scale). ~~~~~ Yes, I'm Snowman. I wish they would do cool daggers. All in all, though, the Sword of Aegis is a nice start in the long road of weapons in Gaia.

Trust me, psychology and art happen to be two of my biggest interests. You're not wrong either, though. Yellow IS the most easily distinguished color, but it is also the most difficult to look at. At the opposite end of the spectrum, as you said, lies blue, which is not as easily distiguished, but is the easiest color on the eyes, hence why many people claim blue to be their favorite color. While it is eye-catching, yellow is exceedingly difficult for the eye to focus on compared to other colors, and is actually even brighter than white. Many tones and shades of yellow are difficult for the human eye to focus upon for very long without irritation. Prolonged exposure to yellow in general increases irritablity, and in conjunction with with the wrong stimuli or certain other colors, it can produce more specific emotional effects, most notably cynicism and laziness. Not to say that yellow is some sort of demon color. Used correctly, it's quite benificial. Yellow has been proven to stimulate memory, hence yellow post-it notes and legal pads. Somewhat paradoxically, it also triggers positive emotions, such as joy, when used correctly in small doses. I also second your "white" vote. 3nodding
