Allo patrol of the night!!
How is everyone?
Are beings from different worlds allowed to be here?
PostPosted: Thu Jan 05, 2012 2:24 pm

Of course beings of other worlds are allowed here! How else would we have things like Zurg invasions and TARDIS parties?

I'm good. Just got out of school. You?

This world, a different world, even the underworld.

Nope sorry, you have to be 100% sane and from this world to hang out here. None of that silly nonsense to be found.

Now lets discuss in a monotone about the state of the economy.

I'm the only sane person 'round. User Image

Exactly.

The dollar value plummets when the index peaks past the quarter....

EUGH I'm soooooooo not made for talking about stuff like that. Anyway yeah, there was a subtle lead brick of amused sarcasm ill concealed in my previous post XD

Economy sucks, end of story.

If we are being serious I'm expecting another big drop in the next few years (if it even holds on that long) so it's going to be fun in the employment sector fighting for jobs. Truthfully I don't expect to make any form of substantial money from working and exploring avenues of investment is the next steps.

I plan to hold on to my position until my writing takes root in the literary world.

Oh yeah, how is the writing thing going?

Did you take part in...er...what was it called.... that month where you write 1000 words per day.

Not that bad, wish I had more time for it though. I'd do it at home but you know how tempting procrastination is.

Yup, you have to kick it to the curb.

Actually if you're a fan of George RR Martin check out his 'Dream Songs' books they are quite interesting as they chart some of his progress.

Money don't bring food to the table:
Producers (e.g. farmers/hunters) bring raw food to the manufacturers (e.g. slaughterhouses/factories).
Manufacturers bring processed food to the stores (e.g. Coles, Woolworths).
Stores allow you (e.g. the reader of this post) to bring food to your table.

Money may be just middle men in all of this. User Image

Yeah, but without it, it's actually pretty hard to convince stores to allow you to take food, without having cops knocking on your door about your recent killing spree just for a pack of bologna.

Ever since they took money off the gold standard it's been hypothetical.
