"There," Mephisto said, taking the contract and signing it with the blood that dripped from the severed extremity. "Faust, don't try anything!" he said loudly, aware that Faust was preparing to mass an undead assault on Belrock.

Belrok took the contract and looked it over,"Good..."He all but threw Netsubo away from him. The dead body parts dropped to the ground.
Netsubo glared up at Mephisto,"Why did you give in to him?"

"You'll see," he mumbled. "So, Belrock, old buddy old pal... take that to my father, and he'll know just what to do with it."
Faust appeared, pale and shaking, and furious. "You didn't!" he shouted, shoving Mephistophiles with surprising force for someone of his emmaciation level.

Netsubo held her breath. Things could get ugly between those two.
Belrok smirked,"Fine I will,"With that he vanished in a tower of fire.

"Well, that was an adventure, to say the least," Mephisto sighed. "Listen. It's no problem. As soon as he gets to Lucifer, he'll see why." Faust didn't have the energy for a fight with Mephisto. The devil shook his head as Faust fell back, breathing hard. "Take it easy, cub scout."

Netsubo rubbed her neck. There was a very big, dark bruis forming all the way around it.
Belrok appeared in Hell with a smile. Strolling into Lucifer's throne-like room, he presented him with the contract.

Lucifer stood, lighting a new cigar with his fingertip. "What? I think I know you. That scummy, sadistic chump? You have a house in the city. My son thinks that you're a good decorator, but that idiot doesn't have any taste. What do you want?" he took the contract, looking at it. "Mm-hm... mm-hm..."
"You OK?" Faust asked, his voice still shaking from the surge of adrenaline he was too tired to use.

Faust nodded. "I think so... just tired. Just very, very tired..."
Lucifer threw his head back and roared... with laughter. "What do I think? I think you're a damn fool! This is written in blood, yeah... but you can't hold a devil to his word with random human blood. It has to come from the devil and the person who wants to make the deal. Nice going, chum... you brought me a bloody piece of paper, but nothing more."

Faust was so relieved that he actually looked on the verge of tears for a moment.

Belrok stormed out of the throne and back to the spot he had arrived at. They wouldn't get away from him.
