Kilik shook his head. Shame. I was pulling for Kasiya the whole time, he sat down against the wall, his arms still crossed. His focus was all on Seto. He looked from the cat's claws to his ears. Wake up, Persian. he thought, placing his chin in one of his hands, Don't let a Slowking push you around. You've got cat instincts! Show them! Kilik glanced at Kasiya, not removing his gaze from the girl.

"All right, good one Regal!" Nina cheered, a broad grin coming onto her face. In part, though, she did feel a bit bad for cheering when her friend's Pokemon was getting beaten up--
Wait, no. She couldn't feel bad. If she did, she'd just end up having a repeat battle like she did with Mike, and make stupid mistakes. She couldn't let that happen again-- she'd been too careless in past battles.
"Now that we've got a momentum built up, let's keep going! Blast that Persian with a Surf attack!" Running back to his own side of the arena, Regal seemed to perform an odd type of dance that called forth a wave of water-- thankfully, however, its size was controlled, and therefore wouldn't drown everyone that was present in the Gym. Pointing a little finger towards Seto, Regal directed the aquatic attack.

Kilik stood up quickly, looking at the wave. He clenched his teeth and fists. Nina! he thought angerly, Kicking the cat while it's down! Although, he had no room to talk. There had been times where he had attacked whenever his opponent was down for the count. He could feel his body shaking in anger. It was as if every negative feeling towards Nina that he had was starting to reveal itself. He flicked his head, getting his bangs out of his eyes.

Perhaps it was a bit of overreacting on Kasiya's part, but her mind became literally flooded with images of her beloved Persian drowning on the spot, his limp body being tossed around carelessly by the vicious waves. Her body went rigid, and she blanched noticeably. "No!" she screamed, bringing both hands up to the sides of her face in terror. "Seto!"
His trainer's ear-splitting screams tore through the air, perhaps besting any Screech attack he'd ever used in his life. It was more than enough to rouse him from his slumber, and the Persian's eyes fluttered open in time to see the wall of water heading for him, and he closed his eyes quickly, taking a deep breath and bracing himself as the water crashed down on him with a deafening roar.
"Seto..." Kasiya whimpered, her face having been drained of all colour. As the water receded, Seto had managed to avoid being moved at all, his claws embedded deeply in the gym floor. The cat retracted his talons effortlessly, and slowly lifted his head, casting a piercing gaze towards Regal. Being a cat after all, he hated water above all other things. He got to his feet, streaks of water dripping from his body and uttered a deep, feral growl. In a heartbeat, he was gone. The Persian raced across the wet ground, using his claws and long tail to keep himself balanced on the slick, wet floor as he focused on his target. Slowing to a sudden stop a mere four feet from the Slowking, Seto opened his mouth wide and hissed, baring all four of his sharp teeth at once. A glimmer of dark energy flashed in the ruby red gem set in his forehead, and a sphere of dark, ghostly energy was sent into the Slowking's stomach - a point blank Shadow Ball.

A bit of intrigue was noticeable on Keegan's face as Maven pulled out a book and began to sketch something, most likely Seto. Turning back to the battle, he felt his heart sink a little as the Persian succumbed to sleep, although he'd left more than a mark with the Thunderbolts he'd launched. To be honest, he'd seen the Surf attack coming, however he couldn't have predicted the screeches that would come from Kasiya to follow. Wincing slightly, he checked to see if his ears were bleeding, and, surprised that they weren't, stood up as the Persian launched his Shadow Ball. "That's the way!" he cheered loudly.
"Psy aye!" Althena cheered as well, standing on her seat and waving her arms around happily. She didn't really know who to cheer for or why, but as long as her trainer was happy, she'd be happy too.

"No, Regal!" Nina hollered. "Try to mo--"
What the hell am I saying?! He can't escape from that!
And, well, it was true. Regal felt the orb of darkness collide with his body, and his insides seemed to go cold. He felt as if all the terrible things in existance were rushing into his being, and it was all too much... Well, that, plus the fact that the attack packed a heck of a punch. He was sent backwards, landing near Nina, his energy all gone. He rolled his eyes up to look at his trainer.
"Nina, I'm sorry," he half-whispered. "I can still go on." Taking a Pokeball from her belt, she shook her head. "No, Regal," she replied, "you can't. But, you did a great job. You need to rest now, though... okay?" The girl clicked a button on the ball, recalling her Pokemon into it. She clipped Regal's Pokeball back onto her belt, and looked over towards Seto.
Seto should be close to finished, Nina thought to herself. And rather than let him do any more damage... She drew another Pokeball from her belt, and threw it onto the battlefield, releasing the Pokemon inside.
Oracle crossed her arms, standing near her trainer, looking to her opposition. "Good to see you again, Nina," the Pokemon said, looking over her shoulder. "What shall I do?"
"Psychic."

Kilik blinked over at the Psyduck then immediately at the Alakazam that had taken the battlefield. He clenched his fists tighter, so tight that his knuckles turned white. I hate Psychic Pokemon... he thought, shaking a bit, So much. Kilik dug his heel into the ground, as if trying to brace himself for something. "I don't see how anyone can train a Psychic Pokemon and still feel good about themselves..." he whispered to himself, with a very hating tone in his voice.

Kasiya felt relief wash over her as though she'd been swept away by a Surf attack herself. However, upon seeing Oracle, the girl's relief all but vanished, and for a moment she almost regretted helping Sabrina to evolve the Alakazam. Oracle looks really fast, Kasiya thought, gritting her teeth. Glancing to Seto, who hadn't shown the slightest hint of vanity even though he was soaked entirely, Kasiya nodded slowly. "Faint Attack, Seto!"
Seto moved to take a step forward, and his body seemed to disappear into thin air. He reappeared a split-second later, drawing close to the Alakazam and lashed out. No sooner had he landed his attack than he felt his body become wracked by psychic energy and he was thrown backward with the force of a Machamp's Seismic Toss. Cats were also known for landing on their feet, and in a showy display of aerobatics, Seto twisted around and managed to land on his four paws safely and avoid taking further damage from falling. However, the force of Oracle's attack had been more than enough for him, and the Persian toppled, his chest heaving from pain and exhaustion.
At once Kasiya was by his side, gently stroking the damp fur on the side of his face. "Good work, Seto," she said softly, leaning down and kissing the Persian on the forehead, just below his jewel. "I'm very proud of you." Seto pushed his head up and nuzzled the girl's chin affectionately, purring so loudly that the sound reverberated throughout the gym. Deciding then and there that she would have to keep Seto in her party more often, she recalled him, retreating to her starting position, all the while smirking to herself.
Even though she didn't know Kilik was there, Kasiya shared a common trait with the dark-haired boy - she too had a strong dislike for Psychic-types; somehow it felt as though their constant intrusions into the thoughts and actions of others, as well as the ability to control them like puppets was almost like cheating in her mind. A dark smile spread across her lips as she held up her Ultra Ball, once more her mannerisms mirroring not those of her father, but of her elder sister. "There will be no more of this psychic trickery," she whispered to herself, clenching the black and yellow sphere so tightly that her knuckles turned white beneath her gloves. With a flick of her wrist, she unleashed Casimir onto the field, and right away the Dark-type could sense his major advantage, and a glimmer of malice flashed in his crimson eyes as he studied his opposition carefully. He heard the call for a Swords Dance, and the Absol reared back on his hind legs and slashed at the air in front of him with his claws, a red shine flashing through his silvery fur to signify a boost in his already phenomenal attack power.

Geodude threw another rock at Train's Ratata. This one hit it's mark, and Ratata squealed a bit, out of pain. It pushed the rock off of it and stood up, shaking itself, trying to rid it's body of the pain.
"Quick Attack, go!" Train called. Ratata blurred, and appeared slamming into Geodude. The Geodude was thrown back against a wall, but shook it off easily. Ratata breathed hard for a moment, then was fine. It ran back to Train.

Maven jumped up holding Vixy and cheered for the Persian. She knew that the pokemon was most likely on its last legs but it put up such a good fight. Maven may not have liked watching battles most times and didn't like having them. She didn't care how they were pitted up against each other. Yet this battle had her heart pumping and andrenaline rushing through her veins.
She sat back down and Vixy jumped from her arms not pleased about being woken up but ran in circles and jumped in excitement for it was contagious. As Maven pulled out her sketch she added the lightning marks on it. She was intrigued about the normal pokemon learning such things. She knew it was a special way to do it but it still sparked in her mind.
Seeing the new pokemon being pulled out Maven looked back at Keegan whom was enjoying the battle. It was evident where his attentions where.

Nina raised her eyebrows a bit upon seeing Casimir. "Well well, it looks like Kasiya's gotten a new Pokemon since I've seen her last," she said quietly.
Oracle, she telepathically spoke to her Pokemon, we're at an enourmous disadvantage here. I don't believe I should keep you out to fight. I'm going to temporarily recall you. What? the Pokemon responded, Nina, are you kidding me? No, I'm not! Oracle, there's nothing you can use to strike that Absol with! You'd be useless against him! That's what you think, Oracle replied. I've been with Sabrina for quite some time-- don't you believe that in that time, she's taught a couple of moves to me? Nina hesitated. Well... a sigh. All right. I'm trusting you. Do whatever you can-- but first, I want you to do something else.
"Okay, Oracle! If he can build up his attack, we can counter it-- Reflect!" Albeit reluctantly, as Oracle wanted to use one of her own tactics, she extended both arms out in front of herself, creating a wall of light that would weaken physical blows.

Looking over at each other Leon and Dante shared a smirk before saying together. "Let's finish this battle!"
"Bahamut use your Giga Drain on that Blastoise again!"
"Sparkles use your Psychic attack on that Tropius!"
Hearing there commands Bahamut screeched and flew swiftly towards her opponent dodging some other shots the large turtle fired at her. Latching on to the Blastoise again she used Giga Drain seeping out the large pokemon's health and making it her own. When she finished the Blastoise swayed on his feet before collapsing to the ground with a loud thud.
At the same time, the Tropius did its best to right itself, but it was confused and it just trashed about. Eyes and jewel on her forehead glowing the Espeon blasted the large pokemon back with her Psychic attack. When the Tropius came to a stop it didn't make a move to get up.
Both of there opponents down Bahamut flew up into the air making loud screech's of joy before flying over to Dante and tackled him. On the ground Sparkles lifted her head high and trotted over to the lowering trainer's box to go stand by Leon in a bit more dignified manor. When the platform finally reached the ground Leon leaned down and scooped his pokemon up into his arms and began to baby the purple pokemon. Smiling a bit at Leon's action's Dante waved at the crowd before turning and heading back to the hallway he had come from. Standing there was a happy looking Missie with a big bag of coin's in each of her hands.
"Congratulation’s you to. Since you battled with Leon, you get a lot more coin's then your previous battles. Sorry Leon I split them in half so its less then you are used to getting."
Not fazed at all Leon accepted the bag and continued to baby his Espeon all the way to the locker room. Dante who took the bag with an appreciative smile opened it and peeked into it. 'Wow, there are A LOT more coins then usual!' Bahamut who was also peeking into the bag smacked her jaws wanting to eat more of the metal candies. Seeing this Dante quickly shut the bag. "Oh no you don't!" Grabbing her pokeball he handed it to her. "Here, go have Leon heal you." Looking a bit disappointed Bahamut did as she was told.
Sitting down using the wall as a back rest Dante carefully counted the coin's and was amazed to see that this one battle brought in more coin's then he even had at the moment. A total of 150 coin's would be added to his growing collection. It seemed that the more battle's you won the more coin's you got. He had to make a point of winning all of his in the future. DANTE'S COINS 268/9,999

Kilik whistled loudly. "That's right!" he laughed, punching the air. He had enjoyed watching Absol battle against Koga and being able to watch it take down a Psychic was like candy. He smirked off in Nina's direction, then looked over at Kasiya. "That Absol is going to be an extreme advantage for you," he explained, walking over.
"Although, I'm sure you knew that. Otherwise, you wouldn't have picked him." Kilik took a seat on the watcher's bench with Keegan and the other girl, humming lightly to himself. "Take her down and get your badge!" he whistled again.

"Kilik?" Kasiya asked, a bit surprised to see the boy here once more. Fate seemed to be throwing them together a lot lately. "Of course I knew that," she half-scoffed, grinning wryly at him. "But thank you, nevertheless." A smile that strongly resembled one Mai would give spread across her face, and she turned back to her Pokemon, who was pawing the ground impatiently, glancing at the gashes in the floor where Seto's claws had held him in place. The Absol looked towards the wall of light created by Oracle and scoffed a bit - it would only protect her so much, and Alakazam were not known for their hefty defense. He glanced up at Kasiya, who still stood rooted to the spot even after speaking with Kilik, the same dark look clinging to her normally cheerful and happy features. A sort of leer appeared on the Absol's face - he liked it when his trainer acted this way. "Aerial Ace," the girl commanded forcefully, and happy to oblige, the Absol slashed the air with his curved horn, sending an x-shaped gash of razing, unavoidable wind energy towards the Psychic-type.

Keegan had only seen that Absol once before - he knew even less about Casimir than he did Seto. He did know, however, that the white Pokemon facing off against Oracle was a dark type, which would be a huge advantage in Kasiya's favor. He caught sight of a new person heading towards them, and before he could stop her, Althena had scrambled onto the floor and was waddling over towards Kilik as fast as her webbed feet could carry her. "Althena!" Keegan shouted in a hushed whisper, but the Psyduck wasn't listening to him. I hope she doesn't do anything to get herself in trouble, the redhead thought, determined to keep an eye on the rogue Psyduck.
