Hakaku took several steps back, blinking at the lady. "What the...how can she still hear after standing next to that thing for so long?" He muttered under his breath, he couldn't hear his own voice with the reverberating gong still beating in his head. "Post for what!?!" He called out to the lady. Recapping his hands gently over the poor kitten, who had been unwillingly forced into this situation with the gong. "What message?"

*Bazu Sat alone ontop of the Academy, the sun rising just beyond the horizon. He stared down at the ground belo him and held his hand up to his face, taking a long drag of the cigarette he had hidden in between the insides of his fingers. As he exhaled sending smoke into the air he moved his head around some, getting his now chin-length black bangs out of his face.
Bazu took a brief moment to sigh and put his cigarette out on the roof of the building, just moments before pulling his Fire Village head band down from his head and allowing it to rest comfortanly around his neck.*
"I guess its about time I started working towards getting a konoha head band...I doubt I'll be going back to my village any time soon. Ah well..."
*As bazu jumped down from the academy' rooftop anasi, his friend of sorts crossed his mind suddenly. She'd just disappeared, maybe she'll be back, yeah,,he was sure she'd come back.*

Kei looked slightly peeved that she had been ignored, shrugging finally, she took the ear plugs from her ears to listen to the conversation between Hakuka and the woman. "You are a signal?" she asked almost silently

It was a wave of relief that came over him as the sound subsided. Even the poor kitten seemed to quel her insatiable thirst to leave the location. Things certainly calmed down for the moment and he could think clearly. "Threat!?! It looks like there wasn't just a threat, but an attack made. Sorry We're not from here yes we are from hidden village of the leaf." Hakaku finished his statement giving the kitty several stroke on the back as it lifted its back in responce to the petting.

Bazu Softly spun a Shiruken around on the tip of his finger. the tip of the shiruken's blade digging into the skin somewhat with every full rotation, it caused little pain though. Bazu's long read hair continued to hang over his Village of hidden fire head band. He had to now play the waiting game, until the teacher was back at the academy and giving out her normal orders.

Kei's eyes grew large. "Uhhh, you age well?" she said sheepishly, not knowing what to say. "But seriously, isn't the gong just a tad bit late?' Kei questioned, "I mean, the destruction already happened" The blunt girl commented in a confused manner.
"Unless something else is coming" the brown haired girl said to herself, seeming to go off into a methodical silence.

Kaida watched the man then followed him like a small child would to an adult. She followed him to the light and did not question him as to where he was going. "Sir, if I were traveling with a friend how indeed would you know of her for it would be impossible for you to have seen her and i in this short ammount of time that has passed."

Hakaku nodded along as Kei commented on the old woman's ageing. The cat in his arms seemed to calm down and started resting and purring. "Something else? Who would want to attack this place? It already is beaten enough I think."

Oh, this was just the first wave. They will come again. I am the signal to those who have not made it back where to go and to let the others know that it is still not safe for them to come out.
But that still does not explain the presence of the hidden leaf here...
