Character name: Tairu. (The Surname is currently unavailable)
Example Post:
Tairu sat on the slope of a grassy hill at the edge of a pond. Rays from the Sun reflected off of the water at a low angle as it began to rise above the horizon. A cool morning breeze whistled by as the tall grass swayed back and forth mirroring the ripples created by disturbances in the pond's surface. Tairu held a bamboo rod in his hands keeping firm but gentle grip while he waited for the tug which indicated a fish had taken the bait. Taking note of a small disturbance near his fishing line Tairu readied himself for the fight. A small tug followed by a strong pull signaled the start of the match. The fish ,fighting for his life, swam with the ferocity of a rampaging Rhino; but Tairu was patient he held on tight moving his rod to counter the serpentine motion of the fish.
Near the moment of victory a shadow appeared behind Tairu and then the familiar feel of a friend's hands on his back. Tairu then felt himself go off balance as he fell forward into the pond after being pushed from behind. He momentarily disappeared below the surface and then bobbed back up to the surface. Tairu smiled and then laughed as he pulled his friend into the water in order to share the fun with him. As the two of them climbed out of the water and back onto the hill side they just looked at each other and laughed.

Character Name:: Brenk
Test It was early morning and the sun had barely risen up on the horizon. The air was brisk and cold, so cold every breath Brenk took hurt his chest. It was to early for him to get up but he had something he had to do or at least that was the excuse he kept telling himself. He usually had to convince himself to get around to doing anything, he was good at it by now. He slowly crawled out of his warm bed and headed for the kitchen to get a glass of water from the sink. The frigid air had already given him a dry mouth and he'd hoped the cool tap water would sooth it away. He wasn't awake enough to attempt to make some tea even though it sounded good. He slowly turned the nob on the tap and it made a small putter before the water started to flow out of it into the glass he had placed under the faucet. When the glass was full Brenk lifted it to his lips to take a drink and something hit him. His eye's shot open as he dropped the glass into the sink. "I'm going to be late on my first day!" He gasped to himself running to his room to slip his shoes on.

The sun was rising to its peak of the day as Hissori Arashi climbed ladders and jumped across narrow rooftops to reach his target. His time was running out becuase as the sun got higher, the hot air would surely put his target out of reach. But Hissori would not accept failure and with one final sprint followed by the leaping power of a kangaroo, he grabbed ahold of the string and while still in midair secured it to his wrist. "Here ya go!" Hissori said to the suprised little girl. "MY BALLOON!!!" Hissori showed a smile and then left without a word.

Okay, so I used to be a member of this guild, like back in 2007 and have returned upon the request of my loving Kouri, but since when I was last in the guild, my RP'ing sucked... here's a new sample:
Character Name: Akemi
Here's a sample of my RP abilities:
The young girl scowled a little bit when he mentioned bringing in the genin to show them how it was done. "I don't need those genin to tell me how to do things..." she mumbled quietly to herself. You want a scoundrel? You've got one! she thought to herself as she bit her lip slightly, her dark grin spreading slowly across her face as an idea formed in her head.
She watched as the red head darted down again to get another one of the apples and tried to bite back a snicker. Did he not just watch that move fail with me??? she thought as she rolled her eyes. This was going to be fun she thought, the wicked grin spreading even more across her face as she took a few more steps back, then bolted towards the red head, the instructor would be too busy with that kid to even notice her... as the boy lowered himself down a bit, Akemi jumped onto his back and at the same time reached down and snagged the apple the boy was about to grab. Once she felt her hand firmly grip it, she leaned back and pushed herself off the boy's back, so she would be going the opposite direction of the teacher, and sending the boy face first into the ground.
As Akemi landed back behind the boy, the girl's grin was unmistakably cocky as she held the apple in her hand. "Enough of a scoundrel for you Sensei?" she said allowed, taking a bite out of the apple, the grin not leaving her face as she did so.

well lets see how this goes Xp
RP sample: character Katsutoshi Yamazaki
Smoke, that was all Katsutoshi smelled as the thick grey mist filled his room. Dazed he found his way through the collapsing fire trap that was now his home. Outside he was able to regain his bearings his home completely ablaze “D**n how’d I not notice this?” how was he going to become a great Shinobi if he couldn’t sense his own home being set on fire? Katsutoshi only had one shot at this he had to protect the homes close to the fire
Tired and sore from training he started to form the hand signs for a jutsu he hadn’t been able to do after weeks of practice. “Tiger, Serpent, Tiger” there was only one shot at this do or die “Suiton Suijinheki No jutsu!!!”

Here goes something. sweatdrop
RP sample: character: Blane Sukata
Upon a cliff that extended far above the deserted grounds of the rigid plain, Blane sat at the tip, letting his legs dangle over the edge, feeling a gust of wind sweep along his relaxed feature; seemingly free spirited with a slight smile. His hands were clasp together, placed in between the gap of his legs, as he peered across the horizon with calm dark-brown hues; watching the glowing warmth fade from the clear sky, as the sun set for the night to arise; all the while he felt at ease during the time. Blane remained seated on the edge, watching the scenery continue to change, slowly losing his hold on reality as his eye-lids narrowed for each moment that passed until they final closed as he slumped back and fell into slumber with the stars now scattered across the night sky.

+[Well, let us just see if I still got the hang of this. Since this is just a sample, the character in the post no way reflects the finished character. Though I may plan on sticking with the name Shingo Kaburo. It is surname, then given name in this case.]+
What was that annoying sound that began to drive such a sleeping boy awake? With his sleepy mind slowly awaking, it was the sound of one problematic clock. Originally when his parents bought it for him, it had a lovely 'chirp' sound... but that was a long time ago. Now, it appeared that the gears that made such a wondrous sound had vanished. Only to be replaced with a metallic grinding sound.
Once his body sat up, a slight adjustment of the head was needed to view the alarm clock. Due to his stupor, his mind registered to his body to shut the clock up. So, he smacked the case a few times before it fell silent. A tingling sensation registered through his hand that he in fact hit the device. This was when he realized that the clock was there for a reason; the time was now Eight-Thirty Three.
He was late again! Oh how he wished this scene could have happened a hour earlier, at least he could have fixed some breakfast before he had to rush out. Moving his legs onto the floor of his tidy, but run down room; he began to get up so he could gather the clothes that he usually wore.
His method of dressing usually started with the undergarments. So he put on a clean pair of boxers, seeming to be made out of polyester, as they were not as soft as most people would like. After this he would either chose to dress with his patched undershirt, or his torn cargo shorts. Both had a dirt feeling to them since the constant washing had dulled the original brown color from it. Because he was still young and rather exuberant, the last item that he would wear are the easy-to-slip in sandals that his mother gave him last year. These sandals were the only things in his wardrobe that was relatively modern.
Running in the house was no problem for him since both of his parents were off to work at such an early time. Since his father lost his high-paying job a few years back, the family had become bankrupt. This forced the family to live with little and time between parents and child had greatly diminished. It was pretty often the term of ‘latch-key child’ was used when people would refer to the child. His real name was Kaburo, which confused him greatly.
With barely anything to eat, he decided to save it for tonight. He was willing to sacrifice his meal so that his parents could have food. Since food was a source of strength, he would rather see the strength go to his parents… as they needed it the most with their jobs. He missed having grilled tuna and attempting to hide the green onions that his mom would make for him. His life felt miserable each day, but he was determined to keep on going.
His morale seemed rather low as he walked out of their tiny little shack, it was literally held together with crude welding. It wasn’t much, but it did have the necessities to it, such as windows, doors, ventilation, bathrooms, bedrooms, and other things that would keep a family relatively in check. But, this was all that they had. He wished he could start working on missions right away so that he could help his parents afford a bed of their own, but first he had to pass this test. ’Your late! You got to keep on moving!’ his inner mind commanded for him to run towards the school.
It was only a few moments before he had reached the bridge that led to the academy. He knew that if he continued going at this speed, the test would be over and that results in a failure if he didn’t show. This was a costly decision to make as he plowed headlong without looking towards the school. It wasn’t long, before the single wrong decision would cost him… dearly.
Starting off with him nearing a relatively used street, he was only looking at the ground as he ran headfirst. At the same time, a merchant was relatively late to an opening of a new store that required the materials that he had in his wagon. Oxen were used to pull the heavy cart, making the trip quicker then usual for the merchant. But because the merchant was late to stock up the store, he whipped the oxen forward. When an ox is startled by a new sound, they usually rampage out of control. This was the same case with these two oxen as they raced forward in a blinding rage. Most people were aware of this, but not the young boy who had to make it for a test. It was only inevitable for the two urgent bodies to collide.
