AnqeIicDemise -If Mimi could smile, she would have. In responce to Taryn's words she offered the nearest thing to a purr; a rather soft rumble accompanied by the soft pressure added with her skull. She then looked up to where Hakan had gone. Another rushing fool-headed idiot. Speaking of idiots, where was Midori? Shouldn't that brat be doing something to seal the spectre, like the children had been saying all along? The soft pressure turned into a n**, where she tugged at Taryn's clothing with her jaws. Knowing Midori, she would've forgotten about it... After a couple of more tugs, she looked over to the mansion and back. There was no point at staying at Sirus' side.. he was gone and there were other lives to save.- Taryn nodded, and looked over at Teddy and Eleanore. "Kids, I need you to do something for me..." She smiled down at them. "Can you run to my lair, and bring me the big glowing book? Don't open it, though..."

Duellist Taryn nodded, and looked over at Teddy and Eleanore. "Kids, I need you to do something for me..." She smiled down at them. "Can you run to my lair, and bring me the big glowing book? Don't open it, though..." -Mimi on the other hand, was getting impatient. Especially when she realized Bertram was away with Midori. Oh, if they weren't careful, Midori would be kicking wraith behind rather than be chanting the proper spells to lock the stupid spectre back in its place.-

Slayer the Fallen *The incorpreal being's shoulders slumped as something resembling a sigh came out. Almost reluctantly, the specter spun around, swinging his sword in an upward arc as he did so. It seemed as if one person still had the will to fight him face to face. A powerful person at that. The specter could see the energy radiating from the one in front of him in great quantities.*
Due to the energy surging around his hands and feet, the human body could only hold out so long.. Hold out until what? Well, chakra comes from inside of the body, we all know that. The fact that the energy had gathered around Hakan's hands and feet.. Well, first the muscles would end up stretching, and the bones would start cracking..
And then, well.. The body parts would simply explode afterwards. It was sad.. But true. That's why Hakan had to finish before he defeated himself!
Leaping over the swinging blade, he would launch himself at the specter. Preforming a flip towards his opponet, he was not only dodging, but attacking. Swinging the heel of his foot down towards his opponet's shoulder, the limb would act as if it were a holy blade, and rip through the being.As for Midori, she would only nod to Bertram, curling up into a ball. She couldn't very well tell him 'it was okay.' But.. the wraith may as well take the nod as some form of saying 'Forgiven.'][Sorry about the crappy Midori post. In a hurry. ._.;][

Duellist Duellist landed on the ground, resuming human form as he did so. "You have no idea what you're dealing with here, spectre..." The assassin growled, his hands moving a thousand different directions before he pointed at the ghost once more. "BLACK KISS OF ABBADON!" An incredible dark power welled up beneath the vampire's feet as his power gathered. ((THe spectre isn't going to try to interrupt this?! Ha ha!)) Bertram sighed. 'I guess it'd be stupid to point out I still am...' He suddenly remembered something. "Midori! I've got it! You can seal him away again!" ~~ The big book was on a desk. It smelled of eldritch magic... and if either of the children opened it, they'd suffer all the painful booby-trapness a warped mind could devise. ~~ Taryn snuggled Mimi close, watching as Duellist began his spell. "I..." she paused. "Oh, if only there was something I could do without that book..." ((Sorry about my crappy posts... sad ))

Because of the jutsu he was preforming. Sure, such an attack would be effective on the specter if he were to land a blow, however..

*He could very well have dodged the attack. But it was then that he had heard the vampire shout out an incantation. Knowing full well that there was no time for him to preform a proper counterspell, the specter did the next best thing: he was going to use the fighter in front of him as a shield.*
*The ethreal creature felt a searing pain as the magically enhanced foot drive into his collarbone. His very existance began to unravel as the magic torn apart his being. But that was the price that had to be paid. Reaching out with lightning-quick reflexes, the specter sought to grab hold of the creature's ankle and paralyze him. After all, what use is a shield that doesn't cooperate?*

It took the twins about ten minutes to arrive, get into and search the place for the damned book. Sure, Elly *knew* where the lair was but that didn't mean she knew how to get inside. It was there where the two lost most precious time.
Eventually, Elly gave her brother a firm tug and pointed to where the book lay. The room was an office of sorts, filled with books, parchments and scrolls. Had it not been for Taryn's specific "glowing book", it would have been a hopless task.
Teddy snatched up the book and held it close to his chest as his sister turned on her heel. He hardly had enough time to get a firm hold on it before she gave his arm a yank hard enough to make him stumble.
Now that they knew where to go, it didn't take half as long to return to Taryn's side. With a proud smile, the boy handed out the book, briefly releasing Eleanore's hand (which he promptly took once more as soon as Taryn took the book).
-Mimi on the other hand, could do very little besides comfort Taryn. Unable to do much beyond be snuggled and ignored there wasn't much she could do. But if what Taryn said was true, that her presence and words brought comfort to those around her, Mimi wasn't going to complain. At least it was something.-

At about that moment, it hit Midori! With Bertram's help, he remember that he could in fact re-seal the evil spirit away! Especially due to the fact that he was wounded, thanks to Hakan. Giving Bertram a 'what're you waiting for' look, Midori sprung to her feel and began to run to the window.
There was no time to open it, so instead Midori removed the coat Bertram let her borrow, wrap it around her hand, and break the window open. Making sure the glass was cleared away, she would hop up and crawl through the window, beginning to run back to the scene.This was bad, due to the fact that Hakan was suspended it mid air, there was nothing to do. Giving a yell as soon as the spirit's hand made contact with is ankle, from that point he would fall limp. the expression on his face held one of utter horror. Or was it anger? How could he let himself get caught like that?!
