Lena looked over all of the different options that showed up on the screen once the game finished loading "Looks like we're in luck..." she said with a smile as she pointed to the words 'multiplayer race' on the screen. She pressed the down arrow a couple times till the words were highlighted, then started the game.

Well then, okay! Riley laughed, shifting to make himself comfortable in a crosslegged position on the floor, as he'd been at his house when Lena had gone to talk to Shinji. Since you're first player, you get to choose your player and equipment before I can do anything.

"Okay.." Lena said with a nod before looking back to the screen and choosing the character she wanted to play and which podracer she wanted to use. "Your turn..." she said, looking down to Riley when it was his turn to pick.

Riley went through the character selection a good four times before he shrugged and chose Anikin's pod. Unadventurous, I know, but his pod really is the best! he laughed, shaking his head to himself.

"I've never really played this before, so I wouldn't know...." Lena said with a bit of a laugh "you ready to start....?" she said, looking down at Riley.

Ready! Riley laughed, already familiar with the system's controller and poised to go as soon as Lena decided to push the button. I promise not to use any powers, too, okay? he told her, glancing quickly over his shoulder to her.

You have powers too? Riley asked, his eyes locked on the game now that it'd started.

"Yeah, sort of... I don't really quite understand them, but I know I can do stuff.... blame Shinji, he did something that gave them to me and he didn't really explain much about it..." she said as she stared at the tv screen, concentrating a bit more on the game once she'd stopped speaking.

Riley sort of let the controller fall from his hand and shifted to look to Lena, his eyes widened slightly. He...gave you powers?! His voice squeaked as he spoke, only hearing about this once from his mother, who gave powers to a mortal that ended up causing terrible things to happen.

Heh...Riley managed, biting his lip as he typically did when nervous. It's most definitely not done often, but...If he did it, then he really does love you...he offered, nodding.

Yeah, that would be nice...He laughed after a moment, shaking his head to himself as he shifted back aroundto re-ready himself for the game. He couldn't help but wonder, some, if Lena knew or not that because Shinji had fused her with powers, it would lengthen her life.
