"Isn't there something we can do?" Kasiya asked, walking away from the gym a bit, deep in thought. "Anything we can use against him? Anything at all?" She looked over at the gym complex, noting that it wasn't very outstanding at all. "I wonder what sort of things he's researching in there," she added idly.

"Same old same old here," Flannery replied, glancing around again. "It's as beautiful as always." She entered her gym, happy to be at home again as she nodded greetings to the trainers who were already practicing and training.

"...Maybe we could go to the police," Sabrina suggested. "I told him that I wouldn't, but that was only to get information out of him. If the police come and arrest him, then we may be able to look around a little more... But I'm not sure if his henchmen would still be in there or not."

Mitsu looked up to the sky and smiled. Karri gave her and odd look, but remained silent as usual. The rain drops hit her face, it was cold and the wind began to pick up again. "So Nina. What next?" she asked shifting her gaze to the psychic.

"Yeah, the Gym. That's the reason why I called." He swallowed a lump in his throat as he pushed the words out. "I wanted to apologize for the utterly pitiful battle I made you suffer thru the other day."

Apollo stumbled a bit but recovered from the attack and shook it off. Dante frowned a bit knowing that most of Apollo's attacks were normal attacks and only his two fire attacks would actually be able to hurt the Ghost pokemon. He growled slight and a determined look appeared on his face. "Apollo use yoru Fire spin attack and trap it in completely this time." Dante ordered and Apollo imediatly launched the attack the flames easily capturing the trying to escape ghost pokemon and wrapping it in its flaming tenderals.
"Launch another Shadow Ball attack at it again. Ignore the flames!"
"Apollo fill the Fire Spin with your Ember attack again!"
Both of them ordered the attack at the same time and the attack hit both of the pokemon at the same time, claiming the Haunter in flames while Apollo was knocked off its hooves and onto the ground. The flames died down after a moment and both the Haunter and Apollo tried to get up but fell down to the ground both pokemon unable to battle anymore.

"I somehow don't think the police could handle him," Kasiya said, almost admirably. She recalled how easily she'd taken down Rocket Grunts before, but was somehow sure the ones on guard here would be significantly tougher. "I would have liked to look around some more, but now's not the best time. Maybe we should watch the gym and try to get in the next time he leaves?" she suggested. "Either way we should contact Nina's group and let them know what we did find out."

"What's next?" Nina echoed. "Eh heh. That's a good question." The sky was darkening as the time was passing by. "We could attempt to chase after Kilik, since we saw him flying off into the north. But, if we did that, we may just experience the exact same thing that we did here..." She was quiet for a moment. "Oh!" she said. "I almost forgot! Give me a second, Mitsu, I need to call Sabrina." She took out her Pokenav and stepped away from the group, not wanting to talk so loud that she distracted Mike from his call. She dialed Sabrina's number, and the other line rang.

"Cut yourself a break, Mike, it wasn't that bad at all. You did take out half of my team." Flannery smiled a bit, suddenly wondering what the real reason of this phone call was. She flopped down in her favourite chair, her Pokemon each letting themselves out of their Pokeballs and making themselves comfortable.

"All right," Mitsu said with a nod. "So Karri did you pick anything up about that strange Pokemon?" Karri gave a nod closing her ruby colored eyes before opening them again. "It definatly is a Psychic type, it's just something I could sense. It knew Confusion, Double Team, and Confuse Ray. It slightly reminds me of a Mr.Mime. Perhaps Team Rocket altered one somehow? And if so it's probably a duel type. But of course the latter two are just guesses. I'm not entirely sure." Mitsu nodded the image of it rushing to her mind. "What could they be doing..."

"Yes I know." He glanced over at Mitsu, who seemed bummed. "It wasn't the outcome, it was how I battled. My Pokemon basically fended for themselves. I'm ashamed." Mike let out a sigh. "I called because I wanted to see if sometime after I'm done handeling Team Rocket if we could...you know...hang out. Catch up on the few months I've been gone."
Shiver released himself from his Pokeball, overjoyed at the rainy sourroundings.

"I suppose that waiting may be the wiser thing to do," Sabrina said, reaching a hand in her pocket to take out her Pokenav. "In the meantime, I'll contact Nina and let her--" She shrieked a little as the Pokenav rang. She opened it and pushed Talk. "...Hello?" she asked, still a little shaken.
"Sabrina!" Nina said from the other line. "It's good to hear from you... We've found Kilik!"
"You found him?" Sabrina asked. "That's..."
Nina chuckled. "Horrible. He escaped to the north. And he must have been brainwashed or something-- he didn't recognize me or any of us!"
Sabrina nodded. "Yes... he was. Kasiya and I were speaking with Giovanni a short while ago. He has informed us that he brainwashed Kilik and made him believe things that weren't true. He didn't specify what those 'things' were, however."
"Wait," Nina replied, "you've found Giovanni? He's in Vermillion?"
A nod. "Yes. He was actually the one who allowed us into the gym... That was completely unexpected. Kasiya and I want to look around inside to see what's going on, but it's going to be difficult if he and his cronies are still there."
"Well, now that we know where Giovanni is, there is very little sense in going to Five Island... Perhaps we should regroup?"

Both Dante and Morty exchanged looks from over the arena as they both recalled their pokemon. "You did a good job Apollo." Dante said quietly to Apollo's pokeball befor reaching down and pulling out his last pokeball as Meowth never used his and sent Shiva out onto the feild the same time that Morty sent out his Gengar. Shiva made a loud barking sound and glared competivly at the ghost pokemon. Dante himself was shivering slightly at the sight of the ghost pokemon that had made him scream earlier. Shaking his head he cleared his thoughts of that and focused on the battle at hand. "You ready Shiva?" The small pokemon barked in affermitive. "All right then Shiva lets start off with an Aurora Beam!" Shiva like always followed Dante's orders and launched the blue and purple icy beam at the ghost pokemon.
Gengar however had different plans then being hit by the attack and simply ducked through the floor avoiding the attack. "Good job Gengar! Now use your Nightshade attack!"

(( Ya know. I don't recall Mitsu ever meeting Kilik. >> )) The on pouring rain began to make her feel a bit homesick. She shook her head slightly, not hard enough to move her hair or anything. She turned to see the port more ships coming in probably for shelter in town for the heavy thunderstorm. "Let's stop by home after this," Mitsu said to Karri. The Psychic Pokemon brightened up a bit. "Maybe Dad'll be home." she paused. "On second thought, we'd better not get our hopes up." Mitsu laughed. Of course he won't be there. He never is. "Well catch up with Tate and Liza, maybe even have a practice match with them."
