Meave: Yes, because it was past midnight and Meriko had to go to bed. ^^ And I had to look through over 1,600 edits to see whose original edit was used, but it doesn't look like they used a purchased edit...they edited different ones or possibly old shop samples (before we put on the TV lines).

i can draw cloths all roght but its the coloring/shading/shadows im rubbish at they wallways seem to turn out block colored or very badley belended sweatdrop

I didn't cover topics like how to shade/highlight, draw folds, choose a light source, and things like that because I felt that they fell under the category of "how to draw clothing" rather than "how to create avatar edits," and I didn't have time to cover art techniques as well as pixelling. ^^;
A clothing tutorial would be much longer than the avatar edit tutorial I made, I think. @_@ The aspects relating to avatar editing include how to draw/highlight/shade flat cloth, folded material, puffed material, gathered material, patterns over flat material, patterns over folded/gathered/wrinkled material, wrinkles on tight-fitting clothing, wrinkles in loose clothing, leather, sheer material, silver, gold, values to use for whites, values to use for blacks, colors of shadows depending on the color of the light, tricking the viewers into seeing more detail than there really is, how to get the most out of just a handful of pixels when creating buttons and buckles and designs and...and...
...and somewhere along the line, I forgot that I wanted to salmon my text when posting in the guild. XD

Do you know what I want for April Fool's Day? I want a yellow giftbox to float around that will randomly change my avatar into someone else's avatar when I click on it. *hee* Then I will obsessively hunt for yellow giftboxes until I get changed into an admin, moderator, zombie, sootface, or Halo owner.
