Professor Annette Soul-Heart

Annette thought about quidditch. She was on the team when she was a third year, but after that, she didn't have time. She was busy with the Transfiguration classes that she was taking. She spent a ton of time with the teacher, and she learned all she could. She was also a member of the D.A.D.A dueling club, and she spent all of her time writing to her parents and doing class work. She took as many classes as possible, which didn't allow for extra quidditch practices and games. So she quit after a year of being a chaser, and she thought it was a good choice then. She still went for her daily run, but, she missed it, so she still went out occasionally to fly on her broom. "Well, I'm very glad you got a position here. I remember you, I believe. It was some time ago, but I remember you being sorted into the Gryffindor house. That hat didn't even have to sit on your head for a millisecond before it knew you were a Gryffindor. It was the same for me for Ravenclaw. I remember my mother arguing with my father about sending me here. She wanted me to go to the school in America, but my dad would not allow it. He said that his whole family came here, and my mom, being a muggle-born, really didn't know a lot about the meaning of family lineage." She thought about that day the her mom wanted her to go to Colville school of magic. Apparently, the magic regulations were different in America, because America had a fallout after her mothers generation left.
Annete stood up for a moment and stretched. She waved her wand at a goblet filled with pumpkin juice, and it slowly glided to her hand. She took a sip and sat back down. "I wish I knew who these other students were that have forgotten about Transfiguration. My class is.. well, not very successful right now, if you didn't know. I had so much planned for this year, but it almost seems pointless right now, because there are so few students in my class." She sighed and she waved her wand at her plate. It shrunk, and then it regrew. When she was depressed, or when she was having a rough time, she tended to use magic to amuse her. She waved her wand towards Ginelle's direction, and the box started to raise up. She then dropped it and slipped her wand into her robe.
(Just out of curiosity, does the year in the guild correspond with the year it is in.. real life?)

[[ Um our year is a little different than RL. Um year is like 6 months long I think. Sing can explain it better to you. I was one who wanted to keep our year the same length as in the books, so I would have still been a 7th year. As for the date our RP takes place a few years (3 years now) after the Second Wizarding War. ]]

Annette stood up with her wand and pointed it to the center of her throat. Then, she said 'Sonorus!" Her voice turned into a speaker, and she said Attention students!!" She stepped down onto the ground floor with the other tables and started to speak. "Since I'm not afraid to do this, I am going to say hello to all of you! I am the new Transfiguration teacher, and I would like to inform you that the new class has started. So, please feel free to start coming to class, or get enrolled! It will be a blast. We are going to learn how to change the color of our hair coming soon. Just like this!" She pointed her wand at her head. Since she was so good at transfiguration, she didn't have to say the spell (Colorvaria), and her hair color changed from a brown to a bright lime green. Hoping to get a few laughs, she twirled and she flipped her hair a bit. "So please, feel free to join me in the next few days!" She pointed at her throat and said "Quietus", and her amplified voice quieted. She went back up to the table, forgetting that her hair was still a bright lime green. She sat down and started to eat some treacle tart. She smiled to all the students and waved a bit, hoping they found her introduction amusing. She looked over to Kenneth and said 'Hopefully that will get them interested... I know it's not much for a real first lesson, but I need to start somewhere." •○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○••○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•

Sparrow grinned as Ginelle opened the package. She then said, "There you are Ginelle, your own broom! It isn't the best but it will still serve well. Nimbus 2000s can still get some great speed." Sparrow couldn't wait to see Ginelle flying on it.
Sparrow then heard the new Professor speak and she wondered if she could take another class she was already staking so many she said, "I wonder if I could take that class too I'm already taking so many."

Kenneth couldn't help but like Annette's bold attempt to get the students back into Transfiguration class. "Well that was bold, maybe you should have been in Gryffindor instead of Ravenclaw after-all." He said giving Annette a warm smile.

Ever eince she'd got detention in Defence class, she'd been nervous around him. "This," She placed the package infron of him. "Is from Antionette. She asked me to give it to you." Of course, Lily was there when Antionette had made it. There was a card, Saying, 'Congrats!! Even though it's quite unfortunate for their Kenneth's.' That was kinda weird to her. Included was a moving picture of herself, popping a party popper then curling her lip. The ending was her name signed in a fancy type of cursive, with a heart next to it. And in small font, with an arrow pointing to the heart, says; 'Not for Reynolds.' She had laughed and through Antionette was kidding when she'd asked Lily to give it. Well, here she was. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

 Amelia laughed with her, but answered none the less, "Wingardium Leviosa...it's the only spell I know that might have worked." Sure, the cushioning charm might have worked, but Amelia had yet to get around to practicing that. She scratched the back of her neck in anticipation for the laughter that was sure to come.
First Year Ravenclaw Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli smiled. Wingardium Leviosa was definitely one of her favourite spells. "I would warn you it isn't strong enough to support humans, but I suppose you already learned that... You might want to try a different spell for next time," she said, taking another bite of food. [ Sorry for the really late reply! ]

"Um thanks Lily." he said as he looked down at the package and then back at her and asked "This isn't going to blow up in my face is it? After all I know Antionette doesn't like me all that much." Without waiting for an answer he took the package gingerly, still unsure as to whether he should just toss it aside or stand back and open it from a distance with some magic. Calling up his Gryffindor bravery, even though his Ravenclaw wisdom told him to open it at a distance, he slowly started to open the "gift" from Antionette.
He was quite surprised and relived that the package didn't explode in his face. Inside the package was a card that read: Congrats!! Even though it's quite unfortunate for their Kenneth's.' Kenneth suppressed a frown at this, he knew that Antionette had a thing for Aludra. None the less he pressed, along with this card was a moving picture of herself, popping a party popper then curling her lip. The ending was her name signed in a fancy type of cursive, with a heart next to it. And in small font, with an arrow pointing to the heart, says; 'Not for Reynolds.' Once he had fully examined the "gift" he let out a sigh and whispered to himself "I really hate that girl."

Annette felt eyes on her, but was wise enough to keep her composure. She let her eyes drift over towards another professor at the table, and she looked at her for a moment. She smiled and said "Hello!" Thinking about her appearance, she quickly pulled out her wand and changed her hair back to the original color it was. "I'm professor Soul-Heart, the new Transfiguration teacher!" She would have stuck out her hand, but the teacher was such a lenght away, and there were other teachers there. So, she just smiled. "You may call me Annette, though. Us teachers aren't as... formal, correct? I mean... Actually, I don't know what I'm trying to say." She laughed at herself a bit, feeling so out of her natural self after dying her hair green in front of the whole student body (or what was there at the time.)
