Well people are allowed to temporarily die. wink
Wanting to get this over with as quickly as possible, Laura grabbed Special by the neck and began to strangle her. Special became conscious as her air supply was cut off. Laura looked away as Special flailed in her arms, gasping for air. Slowly Special's movement became less violent until she finally became still in Laura's arms. Laura waited a few seconds before releasing Special and dropping her to the ground. She laid there motionless and lifeless.
Special's body began to jerk sporadically as Special was strangled in her own mind. Slowly her movement stopped and she remained motionless. Soon her breathing and heartbeat disappeared altogether as she succumbed to death.

Special's mind seemed to suddenly collapse in on itself as Special died. Laura panicked and tried to will her self out of Special. She held her breath as she waited for the moment of truth. She was filled with relief as she felt herself become magic once more and slip out of Special's body. Laura was suddenly exposed to the world again as her heightened sense returned. She concentrated on becoming human again and to her personal enjoyment, she finally returned to her body. Laura cheered happily as her body materialized out of nowhere. "I'm finally free!" yelled Laura. Now she had to help Special before it was too late.

Channelling her magic, Laura concentrated on healing Special. Healing magic was fairly difficult to use and required plenty of skill and effort. Fortunately, Laura was quite adept with healing magic. After chanting under her breath for a minute, Laura finally finished her spell. Revitalizing magic flowed into Special's body. Laura watched Special carefully, looking for any signs of life. After waiting for several seconds, she saw Special take in a deep breath. She mumbled slightly and rolled a bit, as though she had just been asleep. Laura nearly cried as she realized that she had been successful. She had to hold back tears as she remembered what she had decided while trapped in Special's mind. Kneeling down next to Special, Laura whispered in her ear, "I know that I was a terrible mother, but I hope you realize that I am sorry. I think that we can both agree that it would be best if I wasn't in your life anymore." Taking in a deep breath, Laura willed herself to transform back into magic. Her body slowly dissipated until she disappeared entirely.
