Akura saw David walk out and he followed the boy, hoping he'd have something for him to do, though he doubted such a thing. He exited the training facility and caught David saying the whole ' tight on teachers ' comment, made Akura think. ' I'm strong enough and have enough training to become a Chunin, maybe David would agree with me ' With that in his head he'd walk up to the Jinchuriki, and Kage, and tap his shoulder. " Excuse me David. " He paused briefly, hopefully getting his attention.
" I couldn't help but hear that we were tight on teachers, I'm sure I can qualify to be a teacher, and get the rank that comes with that." He told David, and hopefully he'd agree. " I'll gladly take a test or something to prove my worth." He then told David, gladly testing his abilities for the rank.

   David's Eyebrows rose as Akura approached him and, rather blatantly really, requested a promotion. It was rather strange and foreign to think of the other boy as a chuunin, but looking him over, with further consideration, Akura had been a member of the village's forces longer than he had himself. Most likely the only reason he hadn't been promoted yet was because there had been no chuunin exams since his own. Yes, even if he were to fail, it was well past time for the boy to be given a shot at promotion.
Nodding to Akura as his response, he finally spoke. "Meet me at the mission hall in two hours." was the simple order, but for Akura it would be sufficient to know the answer. Looking back at the younger boy after he spoke to Akura, David raised an eyebrow again. Had he gone silent? "What do you want to learn?" he asked again, somewhat forcefully to push the boy into a prompt response. He had no patience for those who could not reply quickly to a question, especially one so simple as that.

That brought an almost immediate dejection feeling swarm over him until he heard the response. It thankfully wasn't that bad of one and after thinking about it he nodded, " Well... Anything really. I wish to be prepared for the new years Chuunin Exams. And should they not be but for quite a while, I would at least be able to hold competence over missions that may pose to be difficult." He didn't need to worry about Clan techniques. He knew most of them he just needed to... well... do it. Outside of that, there was still much that he could learn. From Ken, to Tai, to Gen, to Nin. Many other branches of the shinobi that he could reach out to, so that he may better serve his village.

David resisted the urge to beat his own face in in frustration at this point. He really did, but his hand still managed to make it's way up there. So, redirecting it, he simply massaged his temples instead, focusing on doing the job at hand, and not falling back into the role of the angry youth who probably would have just walked away at this point, if not killed the boy.
"I meant," he began, looking through his fingers at the boy. "What can you learn? What elements do you have access to, or do you know what your elements are yet?" It was all well and good to have someone who wanted to learn anything thrown at them, but he at least had to know what to throw.

Though his reply was short, Akura knew what this meant, he would have a shot at ranking up, something he always wanted among other things, one of those being to fight David in a one vs one, but that one would have to wait. " Got it, two hours it is. " Akura replied to David with a nod and a slight bow that only someone that was paying attention would pick up. ' I should go practice....Heaven knows what David will make me do ' He thought, his body shivering a little with exitement.
With that in mind the boy shook his head and turned his back on David and the other boy. " See you in a little while David. " He told the man running off toward the library to brush up on his combat styles.

Haruka approached the massive structure and gazed up in awe; it was huge, covering a vast area. She began to wonder just how many ninja would be training in here, a hundred, a thousand even? Lost in thought, she almost forgot why she had come in the first place. Having just graduated the academy, she had come to seek out a medical teacher. Shaking off her previous, spaced out thoughts, she pushed open the doors to see the main lobby. The girl slowly walked in and looked around, hoping to find some sort of sign or a map. Goodness knows with a place this big, they'd need one.

He's seen it done by so many Academy Teachers towards students, who are resisting the want to forget the student is still a child and beat the everlasting life out of them. Or at least give them a motherly spanking that people usually see livid mothers do to their irate children when they have had enough. Maybe... he should have attempted to find a more patient person; the young man before him seemed quite liable to kill him should he say another wrong answer.
Upon hearing the more direct question, Aoishi would reply with a short one. Not wanting to push his luck any further, "Well... I have taken up the shinobi path, or decided to work more on Ninjutsu. It is one of the paths that runs quite naturally through my family. After the chakra paper check ( for the life of me I don't remember what they actually called it ), I have found to be able to manipulate or... rather better suited towards Raiton manipulation." Hopefully, this answer would be the answer he is seeking.

..................................................................................................................................................✖✖✖✖✖ She had gotten use to the whisperings so long ago she almost didn't hear them while she walked somewhat lazily down the familiar streets. But it was hard to miss them, since she had gotten so use to the broken silence that solitude and nature had to offer her. She didn't bother going home, knowing that blood stained corridors and rooms waited for her, a haunting reminder of what took place there several years ago. She memorized every blood splash down to the last curve and so, just by closing her eyes she was able to conjure up with perfect dexterity every groove and marking of her house.
It was something she did not think on for long.
Therefore, she was still wearing her cloak and her bag was on her shoulders when she stepped inside of the training all. Her time in nature, even thoughit had been a few weeks had softened her. Her body was still hard and muscular, hidden by soft flesh; she was slightly more thin, no doubt from days of not esting, than the last time she had seen Suna. But it was her reactions to humans she had softened. She had gotten use to the wilderness, and human logic in fights had somewhat evaded her. She needed to train or gather a mission and re-teach herself.
Her eyes slightly widened when she saw people in the training hall, not expecting people to be there on such a blistering hot day. She made a noise in the back of her throat, irritated and turned to leave when her eyes fell on the small midget boy.
He seemed to ooze a dangerous aura, but it had been disciplined. But it slight darkness in his eyes that caught her attention. Hidden by the hood of the cloak, a small twisted smile graced her face. It was surprising to see someone of such a short stature emitte such a dangerous aura around his person. Somehow, he reminded her of herself. She had learned to not judge in appearances alone, but it still didn't mean she couldn't find it sadistically amusing.
She reached up and lowered her hoods, for the first time since arriving, showing off her face. Milky eyes glared unemotionally under silk red hair. Tattoos adorned her face, hiding the worst of the scars. Pale lips pursed downwards as she examined the rest of the hall, remembering with perfect clarity all the other times she had been in this same hall. For anyone who had been in Suna it was hard to not recognize the woman who stood there.
For one, her name was highlighted in the Bingo Book. She had surpassed the whole "Fight on sight" and "Kill on sight" to the rare "Flee on sight" that only held a special place for those few select few S-class and/or really good ANBU. Years ago, she had become one of the main reasons Suna was now considered a blood thirsty nation. No, it was hard not to recognize the cold emotionless expression, nor the features of her face. It was hard not to recognize Etsushi Motarasu.

David sighed as the boy finally gave the information he'd been waiting for. Raiton eh? Not much he could do about that. Sure, he could teach it, but he'd need scrolls, and he'd have to study the techniques more closely than his own elements. And really, he didn't have the time. Lowering his hand back down to his side, David shrugged at the boy. "Not one of my elements, sorry. Maybe if you check at the academy? You could also get a scroll from the library and try learning it alone." he suggested before finally turning away. He wasn't exactly dismissing the boy, so much as redirecting his attention elsewhere. Particularly, back towards the facility. Why was Karo taking so long? He hadn't wanted to deal with other people when he came out here. So annoying...
Just as the thought of other people bothering him crossed his mind, a tingling sensation ran down his neck. he was being watched it seemed. Turning his head, he spotted his observer. A hooded woman with, frankly, the eyes of a predator was watching him. Wonderful, what was he going to have to deal with now? And then, she removed her hood, and the boy's eyes widened slightly of their own accord. He knew that face. He'd only seen her in person a very few times, but he'd read her file three times on it's own in the week. Partially to memorize all the ninja in the village, and partially because she had been missing since Zane had attacked. Etsushi Motarasu, the only other mentioned candidate for his position, declined because of her... Violent tendencies. Pretty much the only person in the village the council feared more than himself.
David's right hand began flipping through hand signals. ANBU communication codes known only to ANBU, Jounin, and the kage himself. He knew she would recognize them. "Where have you been?" was the gist of his message, but the symbols used weren't those to denote a question, but rather an order from a superior. And unlike his 'blunder' in the tower, the context was intentional. The woman had been missing in action for weeks now, with nobody, not even the team that had been with her, knowing where she had gone off to. It was time to find out, and since he was waiting for Karo, it would have to be by way of hand signals rather than a formal report in the privacy of his new office.

..................................................................................................................................................✖✖✖✖✖ Etsushi couldn't help the cold grin on her face when she watch the boy's eyes widen, a flash of recognition pulsing across his features. She loved that look people had whenever somebody saw her and instantly knew who she was. It was even more exciting than the sight of blood.
And then she saw the hand signals and her eyes darkened. 'A superior officer,' her head tilted to the side. She had been right in assuming to not judge him based in his height. She hesitated, mostly because she didn't know who he was, and mostly because she wasn't an open person. Saying anything beyond her name always made her feel restless, and it was of no surprise. She didn't have many examples to go on, but the few she did confirmed her fears. After all, look at Zane. She had let him in like she had no other save for her sister, and he had turned that against her in the end. But it was public knowledge of Zane and Etsushi's affair, so it wasn't like she wasn't giving away what he probably hadn't already heard in the gossip mill.
"Zane was my lover," she signaled back, "I had to disappear." The, I would kill anybody I saw if I didn't went unsaid. But by the darkening of her eyes she knew he would understand. After all, this was Etsushi he was talking to.
"I was in the wild," she continued to signal, "Who are you and what rank do you hold?" she didn't really care who he was or how powerful he was, but she had lived by the law of knowing everything about anybody she was around for more than a minute, in case she had to kill them one day.

'Where did she go', he said to himself as he spent the last few days searching the whole village. Kiyoshi entered the training building, maybe someone their knew something. Walking though each room he spotted what he was looking for. "Etsushi-Sensei!" Kiyoshi shouted with a large smile as he ran into the room to see her.____________________________________________ "My blade is my friend bb ,my blade is my family." Perhaps this was a location for those who already had squads put together. It would certainly explain the lack of readily available ninja. After a brief moment of thinking, Haruka left for the academy.

She turned her head slightly, inclining towards the boy running towards her grinning. She had barely spared him a glance, recognizing him as her student, before she was turning back to the short man to continue their coded conversation.
Still, when he got close enough, her left foot went out, her hands shot forward and she grabbed his waist, flipping him, her other hand grabbing his shin when he was suspended in mid air, and thrust her palm forward towards his chest, not enough to seriously harm him, but to knock the air out of his lungs. When he was laying at her feet, she looked down with her eyes, never moving her head,"Kiyoshi" she acknowledged, "Its nice to see your out of tune. Have I not told you to never let your guard down?" Especially around me.
