Core went silent again for a few seconds. What was Synthic doing to him? What else did she do? "Nothing. I can't remember when it was put in me...So I don't know what to do with it," He said.

Aislin had climbed out of the bed and was showering. She only soaped herself, and washed it of. So it didn't take very long. When she pulled the borrowed clothes back on, she searched through her bags for her high collared coat, a pulled it on, buttoning the parts over the crest of her breasts.

"Nothing," Core said, "We can go downstairs and see what the others are doing."
