Michael looked at X puzzlingly, "I dont care if you fight him, as long as his death is by my sword, hard to think that he and I are friends isnt it?" Michael thought about something he had to get off his chest, he had to explain to someone what is really happenning. "I will tell you the secret that no one knows but he and I only if you promise me two things, one not to kill him, and two not to tell anyone about it deal?" Michael then answered X's question, "us being allies or enemies depends on your answer then."

Michael looked at him still not sure if he should tell him but wanting to get it off of his chest. "Alright, you may think cid has your head on his list but he doesnt, only I am his objective. He only wants to train with you and his friends so he may beat me. About three years back we were under the king of Baron's army. We pillaged villages looking for a treasure said to give great power to the weilder. Cid and I were both knights in the Service, he fourteen and I thirteen. We were the best at this young age till we finally found it. This insigna was passed on to me by the man I had to kill for it. Cid didnt like this so he wanted it for himself, we fought for twenty days and nights, taking no breaks what so ever till we passed out from egsaustion(SP). I told him he could have it when he beat me but he said he didnt want it, he just wanted to prove to the king and himsefl that he was already the best." Michael looked at his shoulder, "for a long time I have bore this curse, I dont want to lose it cause it reminds me that I have done wrong and must repent for it. Cid can only die by my hands cause I must prove to myself I am the stronger of us both. I dont care to be called the strongest in the world, just stronger than he." Michael looked at the ceiling then back at X, "I must kill him, my last victim. My ten-thousandth soul. And if he kills me I will be his ten-thousandth as well."

X looked at Micheal. "I see your story is an age old fight now I tell you my story I bear a curse due to it. X grabed his left arm and then decided he had to tell him. "Rent and I are from another world called Phiron. In this place there was one kingdom to rule he world. Rent was born a prince as for me my mother picked a human like her. For some reason I grew powers different the Phions who controled elements. Everyone thought I was a freak and shuned me out. Rent's father was a phiron nd my mother. Noone said he was a freak being only half Phiron is what really made me mad. I kiled them all eevery last soul in the kingdom. Any surrviver would not have even known me. Before I killed mother she told me to take Rent to a door in the middle of nowhere. She said I go in first and then he goes in. Sadly when we got there he wouldn't wait and went in first. He entered the world of demon thus them talking and fighting with him. I was supposed to be curse by them instead of Rent but for some reason they are friends. As for me I entered the world of the dead where I saw every soul ever dead. There my mother asked what happened and explain. I was going to kill everyone again but the seal my full power. I left and so did Rent and we entered this world." X looked at Rent then turned back. "The poor kid never learned to master his powers so his demon help some as for me if these seals ever break I think this world may suffer too."

X looked at his sword. "You can kill him if he wants to kill me along the way as long as my powers are tapped i can't truly die my body will stay forever unless I can unseal myself so kill Cid go ahead. Whu nows I could fight along Cid with you or along the sidelines." X raised his glaive. "You put your weapon away I will put up mine. X's eye started to fade. X didn't want to explain his eye yet but in time he would.

Rent walked around tring to waste some time. "I wounder were we could just relax and rest instead of sitting where we are ya know." Rent talked to his demons.

X put the glaive away but his eye slowly faded. "Can you hold on." He walked back and made several robots and sliced them easily and walk back taking the materail to use for later. "Sorry I need to keep the eye up." His eye glew a red brightly.

Rent started thinking of the map. "Isn't there a hot springs here now that I think of it I belive we saw it on the map I should tell X when he is done."

"My eye scans in a way I see everyone as a power instead of a normal person the stronger the person the better they appear to it but I can only keep it up a while I must fight somthing to let it stay." X looked at Rent and back at Micheal. "It is something I was born with and sadly I have no real eye if is goes I see nothing through it so I just try to keep it up. That is what the red eye is pretty much if had my full power I would see attacks before they came."

X looked at Micheal. "Friend for now..." He walked by the door and signaled Rent to come to him. "You never know when the battlefeild breaks your mind in half." He looked at Micheal. "Like I said friend for now."

Rent ran over to X and looked at how serious he was and he took X's straw hat and wore it. "Guess what we can go into a hotspring and relax how does that sound brother.


"Horrible but if you want too. Give me my hat." X took his hat back and Rent smiled greatly.
