Andrew smirked knowingly. He knew, and knew Damian knew, that if they wished to Take Raquel away... they could. Physically and mentally they had the upper hand here. "Consider it just as an...example. A demonstration of our power and abilities. She's still alive no? Dont be so angsty..." He sighed, as Amethyst sauntered around to face them on the other side of the couch.
"My... Andy look at this~" She stalked over to The couple, Raquel gripping Damian a bit tighter, sensing the adrenaline pumping through him, as well as her herself. Amethyst reached out and grabbed Raquel's hand making her flinch. She had a tight grip for someone with such a fragile frame. She yanked Raquel from Damian's grasp, causing her to tumble forward a bit, landing on her knees. "Looks like our little half breed's engaged." She commented in a bored, yet disgusted fashion.
Andrew joined her, eying the sparkling stone before taking Raquel's hand for himself, despite her fighting to pull it away. "Love why don't you come back with us?" Andrew offered in a strangely sweet voice, lifting her hand into the air, causing her to have to stand on tip toes so she wouldn't dangle.
"W-why would you want me?! I'm not one of your little pure breeds-" Andrew dropped her roughly, letting her hit the ground hard. He kneeled down, taking her small face in one hand. Amethyst stayed between them and Damian to stop him from pulling anything. "My my Raquel...despite being a mutt, you've got a pretty face..." He whispered thoughtfully. "But you are very stupid...." He lifted her face a little ot make her look at him. "We can make you pure... we can suck this imperfection from you." He sensed the anger in her swelling so he tried a new approach. "You've been having nightmares more recently haven't you?" That caused Raquel's face to become blank. He helped her to her feet, hand still holding her face.
"What if I told you we could make those go away...forever?" Raquel blinked a little, not saying anything. "Or those surges of pain you get...you don't know where those come from do you? ...let me tell you... they get worse...MUCH worse..." Raquel's face faltered, trying to look back at Damian. Andrew placed his other hand on her forehead, his eyes turning a silvery black. Raquel's turned dark as well and a strange subtle glow seemed to over take the two. Raquel's face was calm, then grew a soft smile, a single tear rolling down her face. all at once, Andrew released her, causing Raquel to almsot fall, though he caught her. She was breathing heavily. "See? ...You can feel that on your own when ever you want ... if you come with us..." Raquel managed to stand herself up, turning around to look at Damian, still breathless. She looked a bit paler, but her eyes held less pain behind them.
"I told you we weren't here to hurt you...we're here to help you..." Amethyst smiled. Andrew smirked a little. "Darling...She's feeling over whelmed and confused...take her to her room... answer her questions and help her understand how we can help her...then once she agrees...help her pack." Amethyst nodded, taking Raquel by the arm, leading the numb and drugged Raquel off. Though she did look back to Damian, sending him a look that she was ok, and that they were in no danger for now.
"I'll stay here and explain all this to the lesser being..." he looked back to Damian. "Shall we have a seat and chat?" He extended a hand to the couch for Damian to join him.

Damian wasn't about to chat. He knew from that slightly hazed look that Raquel had been calmed somehow, and she was being led away from him. "Raquel!" he said desperately. "Raquel, no!" Despite Amethyst wanting to talk, he would do no such thing and oblige her. Damian darted forward, bent on getting Raquel back in his arms and reclaiming their dream of being married. Things couldn't fall apart so soon. He wouldn't let them.

But Andrew was faster. He caught the back of Damian's coat, jerking it roughly, causing Damian to falter. Andrew in the blink of an eye, tackled Damian to the floor, pressing on his head and keeping his hands behind him. "Now you listen here...." His voice was low and threatening. "We came here doing things cordially. But we will not hesitate to draw blood...whether it be your own or Raquel's or more likely both... Is up to you you." He waited a moment. "I suggest you come and speak with me. We're trying to help Raquel...do what's best for her... don't you want that? Or are you still the spoiled rich a** you've always been?" He asked, loosening his grip a bit more.
"Though I'll make a deal with you Centurion... You hear me out... You weigh the pros and cons like a 'human being' and see for yourself. Then when Raquel is opened up to what she could have, we'll let her decide... don't you find that fair?" He pressed him agaisnt he floor roughly again, adding a more painful pressure and sensation through him.

"Y-you aren't letting her make any kind of decision on her own!" he said through the pain buckling his knees and back. Andrew could kill him, he knew. But he could do that without having a reason. "Drugging her with powers and sensations! Let me go!" Damian fought with all his strength so that he could save Raquel, maybe even from herself. If he lost her, his world would be gone. Was that selfish of him, he wondered? Or was Andrew right in saying that this was best...?

"Idiot. Amaranthine's can't influence each other. Far too much energy is involved in that... Even if Raquel is only a half breed, she still can block our control over her mind. Being Amranthine means you are superior in your mind, and no one can control it. That's partially what I want to explain to you. I hate to say it, but you do deserve a little information. Since without you, we would have never met Raquel and she would never have discovered her true self." He again only let up slightly. "So human... do we have a deal?" He asked, ready to strike into plan B which included the suffering which he had to admit he enjoyed. "For her sake... Say yes."

"I don't strike deals when my face is pressed to my own floor," he said, thrashing once more. "I'll talk... when I can have the ability to breathe freely back." Another futile thrash was risked. Damian saw that for all their abilities, these people had no honor, and he would have that back within his house if he could.

Andrew released him, standing and straightening his own shirt out. He sauntered over to the couch, pouring a bit more wine for himself. "Would you like some?" He offered, acting as if nothing had happened.
Though didn't wait fora reply before he kept going. "Raquel...I bet she's rather breath taking in bed no?" He asked, pouring a fresh glass for Damian whether he accepted it or not.

"That is none of your concern," Damian said, not removing his eyes from Andrew. He didn't take a seat, did not accept the glass, and was just going to hear what he had to say before sprinting off to find Raquel. If this was a trick to have her taken while he was preoccupied, he would never forgive himself for it.

Andrew smirked. "It's alright...I know you dont have any reason to trust me... I just want to help..." He looked up at him, his face utterly expressionless. "Since its painful obvious you're a very...'physical' person, I'll start there..."
He set down hi own glass. "Amaranthine's are notoriously amazing lovers... because we can exert such passion and such emotion into our partners." He smirked slightly to himself. "I'm sure you've experienced this yourself..." He shook his head. "Such a waste.." He mumbled this mroe to himself before continuing.
"But do you know how Raquel feels during all that?" He cocked his head. "You're human.... You dont physically or emotionally have the capacity to return such passion. So Raquel is left feeling...inadequate in her...'feeling' from it compared to the rush of sensations you get..." He looked up for a reaction.
"She's suffering in other ways other than sexual if you care to even know about those... for instance. Her nightmares... they're unbearable... if a human were to witness what went on in the minds of Amaranthine, they'd most likely be institutionalized for the rest of their lives. She deals with these constantly. Its just all the pain and suffering she unconsciously absorbs from those around her."
"For young ones of our race, this is very dangerous, and so they must be kept around only those of the species who know how to control their thoughts and emotions. Then they slowly learn how to block such negativity, or at least figure out how to manipulate them into somehting productive. Raquel has never had such training. She's in constant pain because of it. Yes she has found some ways to dilute it as I can tell, but soon it wont be enough... she'll resort to many destructive ways of diluting the pain... it could kill her if the pain doesn't first." He explained, looking down at his cuticles casually.

And somehow his plan of going off to find Raquel faded away with all the information being thrown at him. Nothing? She felt... no, not nothing, just not as much as she could feel if she had a partner that was like her. But did that matter? Love was selfless, and if she didn't know what she was missing out on, then what did she have to compare it to?
But the pain he spoke of. Raquel hadn't told him about nightmares. It made him feel guilty, to say the least, of how he poured himself out the other night. He told her his stress, but had showed her a wonderful night just hours ago. He had even danced with her in a non-formal way, feeling stupid and stylish all at once. Hadn't that meant anything?
"And so I mean nothing to that pain? I haven't helped it at all, I haven't provided some sort of relief or distraction?"

Andrew sighed. "See, it's almsot pointless explaining to you human's..." He stood a little, smoothing back his hair. "Thats what I meant. She thinks just because she gets such a high by being around you, that the pain is gone... its only diluted... and the more she pushes it back or hides it, the worse it builds up. Soon it'll take a lot more than just your sweet words and coddles to make it go away. She'll turn to drinking...again. She'll probably try to pick up recreational drugs. Those do wonders for masking it." His look was serious. He knew Raquel's past from slight readings. She had a drinking problem as a teen, which made sense because of all the hormones, and her environment, the mares would be more intense.
"In a way... she's still just a child. She doesn't have the basic skills she needs as an Amaranthine to live..." Andrews face and voice strangely enough, softened. "Listen...we hate to admit it... but we're an endangered species. We're trying to keep our kind from dying out so when one of us is suffering like this or at risk, we are obliged to jump in and assist."

"you cared nothing for her until you found out she had a bit of your kind's blood running through her!" Damian cried. "You pushed her to the edge by forcing us all into readings, revealing painful experiences! How could you have cared about her at all unless you knew she could be of use to you, heartless things that you are?"
And with that, Damian made a run for where Raquel had been taken, hoping against hope that he would make it this time.

"We stay out of the matters of other species you fool. We didn't know she was Amarantine until we read her!" He called after him, though made no more after him. "You're only forcing her to live with her pain!" He cried in addition, sighing annoyed.
Though before Damian could rush into her room, Raquel's door opened. Raquel jumped a mile, not expecting to see him rushing at her. "Damian!" She smiled brightly, her green eyes sparkling brighter than normal. The only off thing was her face was stained with remains of her blue tears. She hugged him excitedly. "Damian they made it stop! They made it go away!" She giggled happily as she looked up at him.
"Well not exactly...I simply helped her flush out some of it, enough to make it bearable again... It's not a permanent fix. Only her own manipulation can make it stop for good...that I can't teach though..." Amethyst sighed, sitting on Raquel's bed, a suitcase next to her, open and empty.
Raquel laughed and nodded, smiling up at him. "Its like...I feel years younger and just-" She giggled again. spinning around before grasping his jacket again.
Andrew came up behind him. "Amethyst...come, let them speak for a moment..." He called as the lanky white creature nodded, sauntering out the room, but not without placing a hand on Raquel's shoulder and giving her a smile.

"You're... you're alright?" Damian seemed stunned. She didn't seem manipulated in any way, didn't seem unrestful or wrong. Raquel was ecstatic. He hadn't seen her like this, even when he had proposed. Her happiness seemed to threaten to make her float away entirely.
But the open suitcase caught his attention almost immediately. "You're not leaving, are you? Raquel, we're engaged, we're... we're going to be married..." Damian's eyes desperately searched hers as his hands stayed on her upper arms to make her stay still.

Raquel looked back to the suitcase furrowing her brow. "Oh that.." She sighed, bringing him into the room more so they could talk. "I-....I told them no..." She said softly, seeming slightly less bright all of a sudden. But she gave him a forced smile. "I love you Damian. I can't just leave you here ... What kind of person would I be if I did?" She asked. Even though it was apparent she meant it whole heartedly, it was also apparent she was a little sad and scared in the back of her mind. "...I'm..I'm sure I can find a way to make it stop on my own... It's no big deal really." She smiled at him, faltering a little.
