In the Infirmary, Nightshade glanced up at the speakers overhead, "Not too sure what that was about, but Static? Just try a very low dosage of your electricity, alright. This may work since you two have similar powers, but be careful. If it looks like she's going into any distress, break the connection."
The veteran vigilante stepped aside, but was soon brandishing an unvarnished wooden cane with both hands -- ready to hook Static's arm to pull him away if something goes wrong.
Meanwhile, Oracle began to track the signal from Artemis, but wasn't having much luck. Grimacing at the computer screen, Babs looked over at Songbird and Penance, "Would you two happen to know what sort of vehicles the X-men have?"
Songbird shrugged, "Neither one of us are X-men, but I'll ask." With that, the lady Thunderbolt moved from the War Room into the hallway to see if she can find an X-man.

Barbara's cell went off. When she would answer she'd hear Crystal's voice."Hey, did you just get Artemis's communication just now?"

Static felt this was his time to help. His time to prove himself. Virgil was making a new name for himself. He was making a new life. Static rubbed his gloves together and pulled his goggles down. Electricity sparked around his hands, creating a turquoise glow around his gloves. Virgil exhaled deeply calming himself and his powers simaltaneously.
He lowered his hands towards the woman. His face stoic and unmoving, he placed his hands on the girl's stomach and slowly began shooting electricity her veins. Virgil kept himself collected, his mind at ease. He made sure that he wouldn't fry her from the inside out, he let the static flow naturally. Static slowly pulsed a steady flow and monitored the lady intently.
"Tell me when..."

"Okay Static. Power down, and let me check her vitals. That should be enough," the old doctor-turned-vigilante checked Kesshou once the electrical stream ceased.

Kesshou rolled over after Virgil stopped the flow of electricity. A loud purr now emanating from her chest. The newly formed smile upon her cat-like lips showed she was now having a good dream instead of oblivious unconsciousness. After a few minutes her tail wrapped around her waist as she curled up.

Static slowed his electrical pulses to a cease. He could hear the faint hum of the static he'd produced for the girl. Virgil raised his goggles and smiled. She looked happy, and that seemed like a good scene to me. Static looked back towards Nightshade, "So is she going to be okay?"

Des nodded toward Static, as he continued to look after Kesshou, "Yeah, I think she'll be fine. Good job, Young Man!"

Static smiled. A job well done, he was hoping this was going to be a common feeling here. Virgil was happy he'd helped that girl, but he was still thinking about what had happened to him. He was lost and looking for something to cling onto. What else, than his Static costume?
"Mr. Static, do you have any comments? One. I put a shock to yo system!"
Virgil mimicked a newsperson. He smiled and shot a burst of electricity in the form of small fireworks.

"From what I heard over the comm, I take it that Kesshou's going to be okay. When all of you can, come to the War Room, and I'll brief you about the I.O. facility. Oracle out," Barbara sent the message to those in the X-men basement. Then switching channels, Oracle sent a message to the Flash girls and Nightcrawler, "When you get finished with your food run, come to the War Room. I'm briefing everyone about the I.O. facility. See you there." Another channel switch, and Oracle linked the communicator to Conner's and Marie's respective comm signal, "Oracle to Superboy and Rogue. If you two are done playing around on the farm, we have the information on the secret I.O. facility that's in the Nevada desert. I suggest you both get back here ASAP. I'll also be teleconferencing with the Watchtower where Robin and 'Batgirl' is. Oracle out."Switching channels again, Barbara was beginning to feel like an old operator, Hold please...Switch...Hold please... ugh...."Oracle to Watchtower, I'm calling for Robin and 'Batgirl', we just retrieved information about an I.O. facility in the Nevada desert. I'll be conducting a briefing on I.O. and their projects shortly. Just set up the Theta channel for me, and we can teleconference with you and whoever else is in the Tower."

Oracle continues to route messages and sends one to the Batcave, "Oracle to Batcave. Anyone home?"

"Someone's here, alright," came a new voice shortly after Oracle contacted the Batcave. It was feminine, and would sound oddly familiar to the former Batgirl.

Barbara almost leaped back in her chair hearing the unfamiliar voice, but something in the tones and mannerisms were familiar to Babs. Oracle's heart raced, as she wondered about the real possibility that this could be Talia Al'Ghul, "Who.... Who is this?"

"The name's Wayne. Brenda Wayne," the voice said after a brief pause. Apex, who had re-entered the War Room in time to hear this, stopped in his tracks, the closest thing to an incredulous expression he could make on his face as he stared at Oracle.

Barbara distinctly had that 'WTF' look on her face and glanced toward Apex who had just entered the War Room before returning her gaze toward her screen, "Brenda Wayne... How do I know you are who you say you are?"

"Because I'm in the Batcave, on the Batcomputer, looking through heavily encrypted files that only a Bat would have access to?" the voice replied, with a snarky tone to boot.
"I'm not 'your' Bruce... But I used to be Bruce Wayne in my universe. Gender-bending magic is a b***h, and my reality didn't have a Batgirl or anything, so I had to retire early."
