He glanced in the direction of where Lighttt had been, but didn't see anything too much. He turned his head after a moment back to Kaori and smiled. "Well then, I'm not sure if I should ask again, since you know it's real," he laughed. "But how bout this, instead? Kaori-chan, I love you," he whispered gently.

Lighttt's eyes widened as Sai said, "I love you.." Lighttt felt very spaceful for water vapor. He signed at the thought he was not caught. It is very intresting in less than a day this Sai dude says he loves Kaori...Speeding things up very very very fast..To fast for me..

Kaori looked up suddenly, glancing around at each noise she heard. They seemed to be growing louder and she thought she picked up on Lighttt's scent a few times. But then she only saw a mist and shook her head to clear her thoughts.
She turned back to Sai as he spoke, watching silently until his last three words. Then her eyes widened and her face flushed scarlet. Her mind began racing. Why would anyone... And to her...? How had this happened? And so quickly! She gaped at him for a moment, never in her wildest dreams having imagined anything like this. Then slowly she leaned forward, eyes closing as she set her face against his chest. She disguised some small sniffles with a shocked laugh. "W-wow..." she said faintly. "I think.. I love you too."

He smiled to himself as she leaned against his shirt. "Is something wrong?" he asked softly, feeling that she was a little hesitant. He put his arms around her, hugging her close to him.

She paused, not moving as she thought silently to herself for a moment. "...it's crazy," she finally mumbled. "It's isane. Why would anyone... like me? Why would anyone say that to me?" The thought still seemed impossible to her. For twleve years she been utterly alone, only finding Kei as an companion fairly recently. And now she came to this school and suddenly people were befriending and possibly loving her? It was simply insane!

Lighttt was getting tired of being water vapor. He was using up so much energy. But he still hold it.But not anymore. Lighttt could not hold. His eyelids started closing and by his powers it started to rain becuase he was sad. His eyelids closed shut and he was not water vapor anymore. He hit the ground with a tap. He opened his eyelids and looked at Kaori and Sai. He immdeiatly stood up and jambled all the words together," SorryI was Notspying on youso don't thinkthat Please..." And within a second he was gon.

Sai just blinked, looking at Lighttt and listening to him. "Oh...kay...." he said, a little confused. He shook his head as he disappeared. "Why? Meghan and I, we want to be your friends with you because we've learned not to segrigate people because of how they look; we make friends because of the person themselves. And I love you," he smiled, "because you're kind to me; you don't flee from me because I'm a ghost."

Kaori's head jerked up in shock as Lighttt's scent appeared from nowhere. Her widened red eyes settled upon him and then he was gone. She blinked and looked around for him, frowning as she didn't see. She sighed softly and stared at the ground, then back up at Sai. "I've never met anyone like you two," she said softly. "And thank you very much for accepting me too..." She looked up at him, smiling slightly now. "I love a ghost," she said with a faint laugh.
[Yes, it did... again. =P]

Lighttt appeared finally at the crosses now cross...but now crosses.I thought I disappered the water cross.. He looked around everywhere. "Intresting.." Lighttt puts one finger on the ground and swipes it back up and smells it. "Blood.." He looked around and saw know one. He went up to the ice one and touched it. Dry ice...Lighttt shrugged and sat down by a tree. He was tired. Too tired. He fell asleep.

"Is it really that amusing?" he laughed, realizing she was talking about him. "And we're glad to be friends with you, Kaori-chan" he smiled, "but what do you mean, no one like us?" He truely was happy to be with her, though.

"It is to me, kind of..." Kaori grinned. Then she sighed and took a deep breath before replying to his question. "Simply that where I'm from, everyone was pretty much the same. Or at least, they all banded together in the belief that I should be excluded from everything. After my parents were kil- died..." Her hand automatically came to her necklace. "...I was basically shunned by everyone until I finally gave up and left, though even in my travels I found no company besides Kei." She looked up at him, smiling faintly. "But now I've come here and found you and Meghan, and also that I have a brother. It's amazing..."

"A lot of things are. You just have to get up and find them," he smiled, refering to thigns being amazing. "And for what happened to you, I'm sorry," he said softly, knowing there was nothing he could do about it. "From now on, though," he said, smiling at her, "I'll be there to protect you; promise"

Kaori took a deep breath, closing her eyes. "This is really the first time I've told someone about my past," she murmured softly. Then she opened them and looked back at him. "But thank you, you're right." She smiled back, blushing faintly at his words. She felt at ease, hand falling from the necklace as she pushed away any bad thoughts that threatened to enter her mind. Right now, she just didn't want to deal with them. Everything was too wonderful.

"Well then, arigato, for trusting me enough to tell me," he said kindly. "It must have been hard for you, and I'll make sure you don't have to suffer that again, Kaori-chan," he said, determined. He knew, technically, he still looked so young, but he knew that he had so much knowledge and time 'alive', that he'd be able to keep his promise as long as he never gave up.

Kaori looked at him, smiling fully now. "Thank you..." she repeated again, voice soft. Slowly, she leaned forward and hugged him gently, cheeks turning pink as she did. But still, she hadn't been this content or at ease in a very long time. For once, she relaxed enough to let her guard down, tail flicking lazily behind her.
