Nova laughed, and pushed his glasses back up to straighten on his face. Then decided that he'd just put them away. The sky that stood behind them was a dark violet shade. Complimenting them with a rough eerie scrawl backdrop of stars splattering across the canvas sky. Nova pulled a small midnight dragon headed lighter from his pocket and began to flicker it on and off. The flame living then dying quickly.
"Like my lighter? It reminds me of someone."
"Quite. I'd imagine so."
As the continued to walk, the rocky hills got closer and closer, they could almost taste the dust.

The large cavernous like hills seemed to screech and scrawl at them, trying to instill fear. Small peiced of rock and dust swiveled off, and Nova could see it, almost in slow motion; his helixes had grown even stronger. A buffet of purple wind came from his mouth as he blew outward, and the debris was turned into nothing that could harm his or the kage's vision. Nova then whisped out another small breath with an equally surmountable huff to extinguish the dust and rubble coming toward's the kage's face.

"Thank you Nova. So, would you like to tell me more of the Hidden Sound's milita--"
The scarecrow faced kage was cut off with an interference in his vision. The sky turned purplish-black and the ground began to be punctured by large metallic spikes. Nova jumped back, and pulled the kage up kinetically, forming handseals with one hand to create a 5 x 5 platform beneath them of pure hardened ice. He turned to the kage, and whispered some words unrecognizable on first instance, then repeated it for clarity.

"It's Genjutsu. My helix tells me it is from a user, behind every one of those three hills. Meaning, multiple strengthened, We should both use the release technique at once."
A column of the spikes began to climb, and Nova formed his hands together and used the Genjutsu release, simultaneously with the kage in a sync.
"Kai!"

The both stomped while doing so, their newly made wooden sandles clamping against the ice that Nova had made. When they had escaped the illusion they were greated by a sickle on a chain jangling towards Nova's neck, and a club battering down above the kage.
Nova slide his back foot in a crescent motion avoiding the chain slightly as it jangled back around. Then, placing his right hand's first two fingers in a pressure block position, he shoved them through a spaciing hole of one of the links in the chain. This did two things in rapid progression.

1) The chain's forced would sprawl around what ever was in the vacinity.
2) Nova's psychic helix being already active, would flip the panel of ice where he and the kage would use the tree climbing method to stay attatched.
The kage then turned back to Nova. Nova saw him from the corner of his eye and sprawled around to answer. Notedly, they were both in calm discipline.
"Imitate me. You've done it before, no doubt Xiato's blood runs through you. Earth Dragon Projectile."
Nova repeated the last sentence with him, and a large earth dragon spewed out damaging earth.

"Very Good Nova. This is one of the third kage's techniques. I guess it doesn't hurt to have a head start on his techniques, now does it? This spar will be adequate for the situation."
"Not at all kage. But we should cut the chat a wee bit to fight these.... Onis. I've sensed their whereabouts, location, and body-type along with chakra levels. I'll telepathically tell you those."
~One behind us, 3 kilometers to be exact, holding a club, and has a rather large bludger body type. Chakra level is about Chunnin right now, but I have a feeling he's more Taijutsu.~

~ Another is in front of us, slightly off center by 4 inches, an archer by the looks of it, carrying a large steel-wired crossbow packed with several iron bolt kunai. Chakra level is about equal to yours at the moment kage, probably the one using the Genjutsu by the looks of how active it is.~
The kage turned and nodded before pulling from his back a small scroll filled with black ash, and yellow tinted cider, along with strange insignia on the bottom of the papyrus slick paper.

~ The last one is quite odd in his form. He wears some sort of strange head dress with pinstripe feathers pertruding from it's cranium threshold. On it's arms, twin blades are mounted with silver sheen, cutting edge and ready to deliver a quick incision. In his right hand, he holds a staff with several ringlets hanging off the edge, and a light blue aura surrounding it. Wait... he seems to be blurring out of prospective.... But I can still tell you he is above your level in chakra at the moment, and is probably a spellcaster of some sort. ~

"We'll have to eliminate him first. I have a feeling he's using necromancy to bring the others to his aid, either that, or their just a group of gaurdians for these hills. Stay on gaurd Nova."
An invisible shot of energy shot out at them and Nova quickly turned to defend with a purple wall, and changed his vision to thermal. He could see the caster's body, it was about as large as the bludger, but a tad mor slender.
"Kage. We'll have to take this to the ground, let me be your eyes and ears."

Nova pumped his right fist forward, with his left tucked away, emitting a jet of flames from his knuckles, pitch-black in color, a sign of the sun goddess' gift. The being was knocked back, and it quickly dusted itself off as it took to it's feet. The invisibility technique had ended, and it's body was exposed for it's true nature. It was a large grey beast with silver tendrils of hair coming from it's body. It's pelt was strong and obscure in it's mellow shade, padded with some tough skin from top to bottom.

Then, the bludger came from behind them, eyeing Nova from his right corner. Nova took two steps to the left, and spun back with a crescent kick from his left leg, way off target because of him not being in direct position. But from the kick, a stackade of flames grew and began to carry up onto the bludger as he fell to it's mercy. Nova then formed his two hands together and created a fire around the two ninja, white in color, and blinded the area with the brightness of it. The heat shot off, and would push all the Oni away from the immediate area.

"I see your handling this situation without me Nova? Wish to demonstrate your new abilities, then go ahead. I'm here to assist though."
Nova created the Earth Dragon Projectile technique once again, and pinpointed it on the archer's incoming attack. The Earth Dragon imploded, with an exploding arrow, and Nova jumped back and pushed all the heat from his defensive manuever into the earth shooting up from the Dragon. With the heat and pressure that he was adding, the earth peices began to turn into magma byproduct rocks and hailed down on the Oni with sharp edges.

The bludger began to waiver his club around in the air to deflect some of the incoming shards at Nova like a baseball player.
"So that's your game hmm?"
Nova combusted the rocks spontaneously, each one with perfect precision, and the explosions that happened across the area. The bludger fell quickly to the attack, having previous damage.
"One down, two to go."
Nova spat to the side, and formed his fists up in front of himself, ready to square off against the other two.

"Shikon No Jutsu."
Nova placed his palm on the burning Oni, and the Oni was brought to life. He began to walk towards the archer, the only one still invisible. Apparantly the spellcaster had taken his invisible form again.
The archer began to speak in a brutish voice after seeing his filet of a brother start rampaging towards him with life,
"Brother! Why have you turned on me?"

The spellcaster appeared behind Nova and released a spout of green wind that would desintigrate Nova. Nova began to create smoke and heat around himself, and spin. The smog tornado warying off the green winds. Through the smog, a large lancing blade pertruding from the sorcerer's arm came to puncture Nova.
The body of his brother was in Nova's position, completely punctured by the blade's wrath. Nova laughed in an ominous way as the caster attempted to wipe the face of fear, along with his brother's blood from the body.

Now the arrows was coming in a line passage at Nova. He stepped to the right, and kindled the arrow on fire as it continued on to hit the other two, exploding like a Jibaku technique.
"Two down. One to go."
Nova pulled his sleeve back, and his glove began to detatch a small compartment that emittied deadly poison smoke from it.
"Would you like your death quick and painless? Or long, and burning with pain? Don't worry, your already dead, but I wonder what it'll be like to die again."

An interuption of the moment came from the second kage, whom was proding at the two slain Oni beasts, impressed at the powers of Nova's helixes combining with the demon.
"Nova, take this time to learn another technique, the Earth Style Wall. Use it defend yourself from the powerful projectile the Oni uses."
"Very well, but if you'd just teach me the handseals for it."
The kage flashed a string of seals, ending with boar and a quick stop dragon. Then he spat out a shed of earth material that hardened as soon as it came out.

The quickness of such a reaction reminded Nova of his Philospher's Flame, that acted with a special function of enzyme to catalyze the activation energy to zilch. The flame was living.
"Okay, I'll try it. Just give me a few minutes..."
The Oni on the other hand was not one to wait, he launched several arrows, ready to explode on impact. Nova had finished the succession of hand seals, and spat out the mud all over the arrows, creating a small peice of natural art, arrows still inbound of it. Nova then flickered to the Oni's face and spewed out a large volume to sufficate him.

Mitsuko was aware of a prescence around her as she awoke. It was there, but it was either moving extremely fast or it was invisible. Then the prescence settled and collapsed into a figure. The person had an almost girlish face and blond hair. Mitsuko thought that it he looked kinda like naruto. And then it was gone, leaving not even a cloud of dust.
Mitsuko knew instantly that it was the Yondaime hokage. The hero that saved hidden leaf by sacrificing his own life and sealing the nine-taled demon fox inside Naruto's guts. And that must have been the flying thunder god technique, thought mitsuko with awe.
