Star nodded. She smiled, then opened the door up to the level slowly. She looked at the paper quickly and then looked around. she saw the right door and pointed to it.

Maverick nodded. He moved to the opening side of the door and bekoner her to go beside him, away from the door. He tried to look through the crack, then got an idea. He took one of his gloves off and used the metal cross to look inside the room by it's reflection.

Maverick looked up. "Checkiong for guards. These guys could find a place to hang out anywhere." He said to her. He lifted his glove. "Even if they hang out with a bunch of dead guys." He said to himself.

"Oh." Star said quietly. She then heard footsteps bkundering from the staircase they just came up. "it's the guard from earlier. Hide!" Star said quickly. She hid behind a cart and pulled Maverick with her. It was squished because they couldn't move the cart without the guard notciing.

Maverick used his wings to cocoon them so it would be harder for them to be spotted. He held Star close and peeked through a small hole he made with his wings. "I thought you said he would be out for hours." He whispered.

Maverick blushed a bit. He wasn't always this close to Star. "Yeah, i guess so." He quieted down when the footsteps got more louder

((Sorry i haven't bean on for a while!!! i had to sneak this time.))
Damian lead Suki out of the volcano." Here we are!" Damian said as opening large doors and then lead Suki through those. "oh! Its so beautiful!" Suki said awed by the sight of dementon." Thought it was gonna be all like my little volcano home, huh?" Damian said while walking around Suki. "Yea.. " Suki murmured. She never wanted to admit defeat. Toby's stomach growled. And so did Suki's." Hey! Damian! " Suki yelled. "Yes??" Damian said snapping out of a trance that always over powered him when he saw the full beauty of his home world, also it was stronger because of Suki's presence. "You got anything to eat aroud here?" Suki asked, whith Toby's anoying stomach gurgling in her ear. "Yeah" Damian said. "follow me." Suki followed whith Toby on her shoulder.

Now, the guard wasn't very smart. Beside Star and Maverick was the cart, but on the other side was an empty hallway. The guard, thought he heard wispering, so he went down that hallway. Right past the cart. He continued to walk down the hallway, and eventually turned the corner.
"I think he's gone." Star wispered to Maverick. She liked being close to him; it made her feel safe.

Opening his wings a little bit, he got up and pulled Star to her feet. "Wow, that was too close." He whispered to her. He then came close to the door they wanted to go through. "Now what?" He asked her.
