Having a story with a bunch of main characters, but have it so they don't look like they are just side characters? Or... One like you have one character but have it so the others characters don't seem like just side characters? o3o?

There are 2 main characters and 4 side charatcers, but the story mainly goes around the 2, the 4 are just sorta there.

I'm not exacly good at writing myself but the best way to do it is to think of the main topic of the story. Like, what/who is it about. Than add the characters and see how it goes from there. Atleast that's what I do, and sorry about the bad teaching. That's practicly as simple as I can make such a complicated topic... >3<"
