Hebal smiled and linked arms with Jeckhart taking him through the trap door "Well yeah I probably will but... when too hot you cant exactly remove all your clothes to keep cool where as when cold, all you have to do is put some thicker clothing on" she cheerfully replied stopping to wave at the group before ushering Jeckhart into the hairy bathroom. "I already got a couple of small brushes ready though couldn't find anything bigger"
Alpha laughed "Since when did any of us do anything that wasnt at least smewhat questionable? Besides, a little rough tough experience should be given to all royals. Gives them a realistic view of the world and hardens them up. Good land knowlede is vital though, since a lot of the land looks the same and there are few landmarks it is very difficult to navigate through"
Seph nodded "Yep and more than likely has a better idea of where we have to avoid for risk of the bad people. But we couldnt ignore the desert for it has resources that Oassu and Felina need. Lets face it, it would be a lot harder of an ordeal if we weren't there looking out for the pair of them"

Satoshi shook her head "no its ok to know. I mean you could just look her up in a magazine anyway. She just uses the name Takara and doesn't give a last name when she does her work. Works for me as it means I dont have to be associated with the entire fiasco. Aren't you a little tall to be a moogle lord though? Also a little unmoogle like?" she asked with a raised brow.
Hayate nodded in agreemet letting out a small groan upon accidentally potting the white ball "Easier to shoot and easier to spot potential foes creeping up from behind. Your right though, I am still half worried Felina will say somethinng and offend someone to the point where shes cased out of town by people with sticks. While getting better, its not like se really gets the average person and would struggle if people didnt speak Agralian or Elven. Also naive enough to make an easy target"

Gil laughed heartily at the look Satoshi gave him "Yes I am a bit taller and unmoogly than the rest of them" he grinned "It's an honorary title, I wasn't born with it so don't worry. Won't pass onto children either but was a nice display of gratitude from them" he explained.
Itaka shrugged "She managed to make her way from Yithra to Agralia on her own well enough and that was when she first set out of the city, perhaps she's more canny than you think" he warned Hayate.
Jeckhart nodded in agreement "You have a point Hebal I imagine the rest will be dressing lightly like you do to cope with the heat" he said releasing Hebal's arm as he arrived "Certainly a lot of fur here, wasn't it awkward to shave it all off yourself?" he asked picking up one of the small brushes.

Hebal nodded with a laugh "Well probably everyone except for Sephy. She cant exactly dress any lighter than she does already heehe but go her having the confidence to show off her figure at least" she smiled crouching down to help sweep. "Yeah its a little awkward to shave fur. The job is quick enough but its more a case of getting the right amount shaved and for it to be as even as possible. It's a really hard skill to learn at first. Had a few bad fur summers in my earlier years hehe. Pretty embarrassing really"
Alpha scratched his chin "Well wouldnt it be fairly easy getting to Agralia. Like I am assuming being a wealthy princess would get your fellow elves to help you out and I would like to guess you taught Felina enough survival skills over the years"
Seph paused "Well when I think back to when I first met her she was extremely timid and cautious but with a little bit of travelling around with us she's really come out of her shell. Getting a lot more confident the more she travels with us. Getting more bossy too" she added jokingly.

Satoshi snickered "Well I guess so though we dont do anything like that in my country. Most people would be pretty pissed off if you did something for them and weren't given money or at the very least some kind of agreed valubble object. Guess we aren't particularly honorable folk as a whole. Our neighbours in Mari's country absolutely love random fancy titles like that though. Did you at least get something else with the title?"
Hayate scratched his head curious as to why both Hebal and Jeckhart appeared to be hiding in the bathroom but shrugged it off "That is true, she has definately become more outspoken and perhaps a little more assertive. But you know, Agralia is a completely different continent with different fiends and other things. Being perfectly honest when it came to teaching her outdoor skills like making fire and pitching tents, she was one of the worst students you could ask for. Always tried wandering off and kept asking why she needed to learn it when she would always have the palace to live in" he laughed.

Gil smiled "Pretty sure I already said, they forged me this nice suit of armour and gave me a nice house there and special Mognet priveliges they've compensated me pretty well for sure" he said nodding in fond memory.
Jeckhart nodded slowly "I suppose...at the clan we consider it the sin of pride however, her presence makes it awkward in many countries, Kunec may be willing to enforce rules that demons have to wear clothes but other countries feel they'd be infringing on demonic rights even if they'd rather they wore clothes" he said not wanting to condone the behaviour.
Itaka nodded "Well she is a princess, she's probably used to bossing around servants though it's funny that's how she reacted to your survival training but guess Elorin knew what he was doing teaching her that stuff. Funny to think she'd later on sneak out of that palace" he chuckled "Perhaps she's got some thief blood in her somewhere" he joked.

Hebal paused "Well I guess there is a lot of pressure for demons to try and fit in. Fitting in may work in terms of social acceptability but it doesn't make you happy. So if a little bit of demonic pride makes her happy I see little reason to rain on her parade" she explained based off her own personal experiences. "You demons get such a bad reputation but half of you arent all that bad when you understand demonic cultures" she smiled then hummed away to herself while she worked.
Seph shrugged taking a moment to count how many balls were left remaining "Well something must have sunk in despite her initial disinterest. I guess really girly people just don't like outdoor activities"
Alpha paused "she doesnt have thief skills. She is easily the most moral of everyone on the ship with the possible exception of Jeckhart. Funny how fate throws us all together. Hell I wasn't even gonna stick around more than a week at most and now look where I am with you all and with an airship"

Satoshi grinned watching their food get carried over to them "I bet they made it into some really fancy spectacle too based on what I have heard about the moogle king. Fireworks and everything, he''s certainly wealthy enough for it" she replied picking up her chopsticks. "Still rememer how to use these? Or need another lesson?"
Hayate shook his head "No thieves in her family bloodline, just mages and summoners. Guess theres a first for everything though if Oassu gets his way though best keep that one a secret it it were to happen. You don't really need to steal when you can just buy everything you want. Plus you never know, their kids might be like me and do something completely unrelated in an act of rebellion"

Gil nodded "Well it was more a celebration of defeating the evil wizard but it was certainly a pleasant experience" he said idly picking up the chopsticks and swirling them into a usable position "Don't worry I'm pretty good with my hands" Gil chuckled starting to eat.
Itaka rolled his eyes "Was joking but sure maybe she'll become a thief yet if Oassu is that bad" he said yawning "And don't pretend you haven't found it plenty profitable on your trip Alpha, hell you'll probably take a hoard of Elixirs from your son and jump off to see Yenytai to turn a profit" he teased.
Jeckhart nodded hesitantly "It's her choice for sure, but we shouldn't embrace our demonic culture because it originated from the sins, the only way we'll ever return to our true forms is if we put them aside and help mankind. There's a great many demons who are stuck in Seph's stage where they are quite happy and comfortable with themselves and so don't desire to return to their original form" Jeckhart said sweeping some of Hebal's fur over towards her to scoop up.

Seph laughed "Nah, Felina definarely wears the trousers in that relationship. Bet everyone is glad they stuck around on this weird trip. Been paid so much in rewards and items that I havent needed to look at a single job contract in over a year now and Milly was something that will keep me living comforably for a good few more years. Gotta thank Hebal for that discovery one day"
Alpha grunted "If only. Maybe the odd one if I am lucky but my kid isn't completely stupid and would start giving me 100 questions if I started asking for multiples. Would have a better chance if Seph tried to sweet talk him out of it rather than me bringing it up with him. Heh I'll come up with a story before we leave the desert I am sure"
Hebal slowly nodded unsure what to say "Well I guess thats all some people really need to be happy" she mumbled before letting out a small sneeze. "By original form I am guessing you mean your angel form right? I think its cool that you can transform so much whether its to your angelic selves or to humans and elves though nobody seems to particularly likes transforming into viera. I guess its just so odd to see us outside our own forests"

Satoshi paused surprised for a moment "Well you are a pretty fast learner when it comes to learning new skills from the looks of it. Maybe we could even turn you into an artist yet" she suggested then started to eat. "Mmm the food is one of the things I miss the most about home for sure. Do you enjoy it though? Going to places where you are extremely popular and get a lot of attention"
Hayate smirked "Well it is pretty hard to trust you old man with al the trouble you get up to. Not someone I would lend money to for sure. Its true though, made a good bit of coin playing royal babysitter on top of travelling with you guys. Going to get a little short on change now but I don't tend to spend much money anyway. Could probably by myself an airship with whats sitting in my bank now. Maybe give you a race and prove painting stripes on your ship doesnt make it fly any faster"

Gil nodded "The food is quite nice sure..." he said before slurping down some noodles "Oh, you mean the attention? Not especially, it's not that big a deal, outside of moogle culture I don't get that much attention. Probably only because of that tournament recently I got any kind of notice at all" he said pausing to wipe some sauce off his face "A lot of people take one look at me and look away in fear" he chuckled "I guess in my armour I hardly look like a friendly fellow, at least they don't chase after me shouting 'demon'" he added.
Itaka nodded "Sure, adventuring is profitable, partially why I agreed to come along, thieves guilds only pull in so much money, can always turn a greater profit on adventuring" he said agreeing with Seph.
Jeckhart nodded "I suppose so, and yes Angel form is what I meant" he said stretching for a moment before continuing his work "Though we have a few members who adapted a Viera form, thing is it's difficult for most demons to maintain more than one consistent form so we choose one that blends in a lot of places. Physical similarities help too so a furry demon might have an easier time turning into a Viera but only certain types with innate talents for shapeshifting like Anakuda really manage more than one form." he explained.

Hebal smiled and continued to enthusiastically nod at Jeckhart "Yeah I get that. It all makes sense though I guesed it was mostly better magical demons were better at transforming and some of the stronger demons had greater forms like Alpha. Also incubus and sucubus can apparently look like anything people want to see. Hey is it true that if a demon is bad at transforming and they push themselves too hard they can get stuck in some half and half state? Or is that just a myth" she giggled.
"If you were going to buy an airship you would first need to work on your piloting skills a bit more especially if one this size" Seph teased surprised that they both only had one ball of their own colours remaining already. "As rough as the desert may be due to the large areas of it that are uninhabited, there is probably pleanty of treasure still to be found under the sands if we had the right time and picked the right location. Same with all the tundras north of Agralia.
Alpha shrugged "Well if theres anything of value its buried deep under there and nowhere near the fire city. All I have seen is sand, sand and more sand. The tundras I can believe. It has a massive abyss for starters. Even if you find no treasure on an adventure, you can always make money off killing fiends and selling stuff from them. Always someone that needs claws and fangs for whatever reason"

Satoshi nodded "Well yeah though I dont think people still do that anymore. Would be most surprised if they did. Still I feel a little jealous of you. Wish once in a while some of us ninja would get a nice little ceremony to show appreciation for our work. We just get paid and told to move on and deal with it" she sighed "Though yeah people generally dont like people who go around in public with their faces hidden regardless of whether a ninja, knight or whatever so I'll bet you scare a few. With me its more the oppsite where there have been times people have not taken me seriously because of my looks"
Hayate laughed "You must be digging in the wrong place Alpha. My family when not thieving used to do a lot of digging in the desert in their spare time. Found some ruins a couple of times with the odd little treasures. The bangaa desert probably has less magical artifacts and more gold though if you wanted to hunt for treasure" he recommended, stopping to pocket his final ball, "Adventuring is good I guess though I always wanted to spend more time in Satoshi's country to explore rather than back and forth randomly scattered about like we are now"
