I'm not sure actually. I think you can buy over-the-counter sleep aids like Tylenol PM and such, but anything stronger and you'd probably need a prescription.

There's over-the-counter sleep aid pills that are meant just for sleep. I don't know how powerful they are, but I know I've seen them on the shelves.
