Queen of the Blue Twins Very good Edi! Most of mine now are what they call petit mal which is mostly staring off into space for 3-5 seconds and generally no shaking or convulsions. But as a child the gran mal ones were 3-5 times a day for roughly 2 yrs of it. And this is the first time I had a x-ray aimed at spine curvature. They were looking for it. Normally necks are curved like the top part of an s - mine is straight and actually tilted forward slightly. This is causing my skull to actually sit on the 1st vertabrae in my neck - there should be a gap. But more importantly this is limiting the space for all the nerves in my brain stem which is causing vision problems, headaches and they think the upswing in my seizure activity in the last 6 months. (Which is why I no longer drive.) crying So I am about to start a yr long therapy and chiropractor series to get the curve of my neck to actually exist again. I suspect pain will be involved but as potentially life threatening as this could develop into if ignored I'm good with the pain. 3nodding xp Good luck, Queenie. heart

Queen of the Blue Twins CrazyRob Thanks! *wonders what the others did to win their door prizes* Let's see -- the first one was King with a random number draw and he got a orange doggie balloon. The 2nd was a trash collection contest in town and Vicki won a wooden chest for that - I think she said she got a chalk outline in it. The third was you with the trivia question. The last was given to the person who had been there the longest - which was vickicat - and was decided by the people in the house at the time. She got gaia gold. Then Edi got a small amount of gaia gold for also being there the whole time and I think even PhotoOp got something for coming too. We partied thru the entire Gaia World night!! We were doing the trash collection when the sun set and we did the final door prize discussion as it rose again! Can we party or what? Though I still want to know what you were doing behind the tree with Kyou?!?! rofl What was the trash collection contest? surprised I don't know about Kyou, but I was spying on Edi from across the room. I thought maybe she wouldn't see me if I was behind the tree. ninja

Hey, Rob, was there any reasoning behind the Undertaker retiring?
I mean, I know he was in the business for a long time, but wtf. Like Jin said: Undertaker's not old; Ric Flair is. >.>

Hey Rob!
The trash collecting was you had to get 5 of the same items and bring them back.....(5 pink daffodills, 5 red papers, 5 reen papers....) the catch was Katie had cleaned out the town waiting for instructions so we all had to go into separate towns to get the items confused rofl So Vicki was the first one back. Then she traded the papers for her prize.

Nah, it's just storyline. Taker takes off a lot each year due to nagging injuries and stuff. He'll be back when he's healed up again. 3nodding

Kyou_Blizz_Cat ninja Do we need more lights? I don't know where we could put them. I have a starter bedside kind of lamp I was gonna play with. I'll let you know. Those are awesome though with the purple glow on the blue walls! 3nodding

Edi Nippoli They're severe seizures, the typical fall down-and-shake types, they're very dangerous and potentially lethal if there isn't someone standing by to help hold down the victim's tongue, otherwise there's a risk they may swallow it.
Almost. My little bro is diagnosed with Drevettes(i think thats how you spell it.At least, thats how it sounds), from an allergic reaction from one of the first shots you get as a baby. It is still good to have someone there in case they arn't breathing due to saliva, mucus, or the inability to due to the seizure.
But, back on topic, I've spoken with many of the doctors he's had (ENT, neurologists, physicians, etc), and have been told every time that it is physically impossible to swallow your tongue, for it is attached to the floor of your mouth, and your throat.
@Queen- Have you tried the kenogenic diet? It has really helped with my bro's seizure activity, but, it was horrid. Also, there is the VNS (Vegus Nerve Simulator) that sends a shock(you don't feel it) along the, you guessed it, Vegus nerve about every thirty seconds, preventing seizures. If you are in a seizure past that time, there is a "Swiper", which is basically a strong magnet, that triggers the VNS.

If you are in a seizure past that time, there is a "Swiper", which is basically a strong magnet, that triggers the VNS. I want to say I appreciate the concern from everyone heart -- My seizures aren't anything that can be treated at this point with medication. They tell me there is a minimum number and/or severity level before they put me back on meds (due to other allergies that restrict my medication possiblilties) and I have talked about the VNS but they fear it might actually make me worse than better. I was born with seizures and they can't seem to find my source point to propose a specific treatment course. I am legally able to drive as the doctor's have not put any restrictions on my life, but I have voluntarily stopped driving for my own piece of mind. When I go 4-6 months without seizure activity I will start driving again but as it is, the longest I've gone in the past 6 months was 6 weeks, it's just not long enough for me to feel safe. I talked to my neurologist today (showed him my x-rays) and he agreed (nothing like black and white to get a doc's attention) that this was most likely the cause of my recent upswing in activity so we are going with the chiropractor's recommendations and I get to start that on Monday. xp

@ Queen: That sucks about seizures, I got them too so I know how you feel. I take meds for them too. I'm not allergic though I do get its side effects >_<
@ Hiei and Rob: Taker's doing the right thing to relax some time. Remember that some wrestlers depend alot on pain killers to treat all the nasty falls, and hits they take. It may be fake as in storyline and who wins and stuff and some stunts here and there but alot of those moves are hard to fake. Takes alot out of you to be wrestling for a living 3nodding
