I've never experienced an earthquake as long and as forceful as the one that hit today. After the first ten or fifteen seconds the novelty wore off and it quickly turned to panic. I started to think of Haiti and Chile and thought to myself, "Oh @#$!, is this really it?!" On top of that, I was on a pier about a quarter of a mile out into the bay. Thoughts of tsunamis and "what around me floats" also came to mind... I haven't been that scared in a while : (

 L' usar ssussun piwafwin... sad Chingus do you need a hug! I've never been in an earthquake, but I can understand the kinda fearful that pounded through ones mind at such time. *hugs tightly*...l' oloth d'lil isto.

Thanks Aly, that ws awful nice of you. We're all okay down here, it was just sort of a shock. Now we're having all the aftershocks which has been a little bit less than unsettling.
