Don't mean anything against you, Fenrir shouldn't be doing that kind of thing stare She also killed another level 1 student. >.> O.o huh, didn't know that, probably shoulda looked around more sweatdrop If you're upset about not having a personal 'sensei' to give you missions or level up tests, you could always just ask me you know. lol But typically the first level up test a teacher gives is the one that earns their approval, and establishes the student-teacher relationship for the rest of the story. Though that may change if your character is already fairly high-leveled, after all this system is built to make things tougher on you the higher leveled you become, for a starting level 1 it is perfectly reasonable for them to have a fairly easy level up test IF their given teacher is fairly easy to convince. Victor and Dorian, for instance, required the murder of a helpless student because they too have no problem with murdering others and asks their students to have the same conviction. Other teachers like Yajuu or Gunner, are very difficult to impress and typically require going on some kind of chore or quest to prove themselves. In either case a level up test signifies an event that shapes the character on a personal level, and draws the character (as well as the player for that matter) deeper into the ludus universe. Therefore I find it best to start out with easy but meaningful tests for new players/characters, to further draw them into this guild and invest more of their time and effort. Most RPG video games do this, after all, where leveling up from 1 to 2 may be incredibly easy, but as time goes on it takes more and more work to reach that same level up.

Ro Mayvine Are there several profiles missing from the NPC thread or something? o.o Probably. I have a bad habit of being lazy about that. sweatdrop Though for some cases this is intentional, as some NPCs are considered to be secret and thus wouldn't have a profile on record to be examined.

That's pretty much the only reason I was asking about it. And if I remember correctly, you said Zeev will level up if he wins two fights, so he's half-way there already mrgreen Anywho, I've been thinking a bit screwy lately, hence why I jumped to slightly ridiculous conclusions sweatdrop
