The hypothesis, as you put it, has been proven repeatedly by myself...and others...before.
And it is very simple.
You cannot kill anyone within the confines of the Nexus.

I put a SILVER BULLET through the heart of Bigby Wolf...and he survived.
Wally West was stabbed straight through the chest and recovered.
Jaeger Ayers was LIT ON FIRE and left for dead. He's fine now.
Stark's staging of his own death and resurrection should not, by logical intents and purposes, have been possible. And yet it was.
The laws of causality and consequence are bent here in a certain direction...

I don't think you comprehend what I mean. I could terminate your life functions here and now...but next month you'll be back in your universe, unscathed, unremembering of the incident as you stumble through your daily routine.
WITH. NO. AFTER-EFFECTS.
The heart of the Nexus is intent on maintaining the status quo outside of it's realm. Like a rubber band snapping back into shape.
