Technologist Tony Stark Nick Joseph Fury Technologist Tony Stark I think the most likely candidates for killing the Joker are Fury and Osborn, and if it comes down to that, I want to be sure it's Osborn pulling the trigger. Much as I'd love to kill that grinnin' b*****d, I think he has more to worry about from Harper or Shift than me. *Punches the bartop.* Back home I could just greenlight him and it would all be over soon enough. At least I don't have to worry about Norman gunning for my job anymore. That's the problem. It ain't back home. Much as I'd love to take the whole lot of 'em out, it'd be upsetting the natural balance of the nexus, and Brainac and his legion buddies would serve our asses to us on a platter. I'm doin' all I can to stop this war, but Osborn's pretty determined.

We've got heroes on the run and collared supervillains chasing them, but out here the heroes are running interference for the villains. I had a nightmare last night, you'd never believe it.

Nick Joseph Fury From what my partially-decommissioned LMD picked up in here last night, I wouldn't have thought you slept at all. I just you know, moved my time tables forward and slept past my meeting with the UN Secretary General. I sent one of my spare armors to fill in for me. But this nightmare Nick, you'd never believe it. I was standing outside the mansion having a cigar, and I look up to see this massive purple and green helicarrier come ripping through the clouds at me.
