smoker is better. i guess it's because people always use the same tone of voice. "oh, you're the smoking type." and then there's this awkward silence as they stare at you, trying to hide their snide contempt and moral superiority. HMM NOT THAT I'M MAKING ANY ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT YOU, AGGY-POO.

I get what you mean. In fact, I can just hear that tone in my head as I read your example.
Good. Now scratch behind my ears, woman! scream *nuzzle*

Something wrong with smoking? I think it compliments my tattoos and thousand yard stare quite nicely

Yes. It means you smell, your teeth are probably yellow, and kissing you feels like licking an ash tray.

DB Imp Yes. It means you smell, your teeth are probably yellow, and kissing you feels like licking an ash tray. That reminds me of Catullus poem 97, where he basically say that he would prefer the guy's arse to his mouth.

And why would he prefer a guy's butt instead of his mouth? I'm not familiar with this poem.

In the poem Catullus is insulting this guy who lives this perfect Roman man life and slept with the Lesbia the girl he likes. He states that the guy's mouth and arse are in fact one in the small. Though, he personal, would prefer the guys arse rather then his mouth. He describes the guys mouth and everything.
Here is the English translation of the Poem: I did not (may the gods love me) think it mattered,
whether I might be smelling Aemilius’s mouth or arse.
The one’s no cleaner, the other’s no dirtier,
in fact his arse is both cleaner and nicer:
since it’s no teeth. Indeed, the other has
foot long teeth, gums like an old box-cart,
and jaws that usually gape like the open
c**t of a pissing mule on heat.
He ******** lots of women, and makes himself out
to be charming, and isn’t set to the mill with the a**?
Shouldn’t we think, of any girl touching him,
she’s capable of licking a foul hangman’s arse?

Catullus predates Augustus by a bit. Though no one is sure when he wrote each poem so they use his birth/death year, so it was made somewhere between 85 BCE and 54 BCE.

DB Imp Yes. It means you smell, your teeth are probably yellow, and kissing you feels like licking an ash tray. I am very meticulous when I smoke. I take very careful measures not to smell like an ash tray, because my parents would freak if they knew. I also brush my teeth religiously, so not yellow.

heheheh. xd love how ya repeated yerself there Spikey.
anywho, i smoke cigars rather than cigarettes, and i avoid menthol ones. i don't even like the nicotine, it's just the tobacco i like. it has a decent flavour and it's relaxing. but i don't smoke a bunch. just when i'm agitated, or drunk. or cold. and i don't smoke if i am tired and for any reason it would be bad for me to fall asleep. because when i am tired, i have been known to pass out cause of lighting up. ._.
