"when i was about fifteen, my brother said he wanted to show me something so i followed him and got hit in the head. after that, its just broken memories of my pain and torture until i got out. i was so out of it, i never realized he had gotten our sister too. she told me how she could hear me screaming in pain. heh, i remember the pain, but not the screaming. i looked a lot older than i was afterwards, so i used to hang out at bars and drink myself to sleep. when i did that, i didnt dream about what happened. i did wake up with a terrible hangover, however."

Envi's shoulders tensed up slightly from the whole story, she took in a deep breath. "And the whole reason he betrayed you and your sister was because he was jealous, right?"

"pretty much, yeah. i dont know why though. i mean, anytime one of our friends found out about us, it made them nervous. i got used to listening to music in my room, alone, but ashley always bounced back like nothing happened. we spent a lot of time together too, since we werent much different from each other." through this entire conversation, his voice had remained happy. it was like, it didnt bother him anymore, and he was proud to talk about what he was strong enough to get through.

"yup, hes very dead. not only that, but the rest of my family is alive again. like i said, that demon armageddon wasnt all bad. ive still got his cursed sword too, i never use it though. it always possesed the user because it was meant to be used for the benefit of others, but what we always saw was just someone who was power hungry. wanna see it?" he asked casually

"he asked me to gaurd it for him. i can hold it without worrying about its effects because i have no intention of using it. i had to promise to gaurd it so he would revive my family. it doesnt bother me at all, actually i had forgotten about it for a while." he laughed a little.

"Well that's a good excuse.." She muttered sarcastically. "You do realize playing and making deals with demons never ends well. I mean it doesn't make sense to revive your family in exchange for keeping his sword safe. I honestly don't know what killed that common sense of yours that day..." Envi said aloud though the last part was more a question to herself. "What's with your family these days anyways, do they act normal like they used to, nothing at all strange or abnormal?" Envi asked, obvious that she had nearly forgotten about all this and now this nerved her even more

"about a month ago i went to see them, but they didnt see me. my dad doesnt really like me since i killed him and all, and my mom thinks i died in a car accident, and shes gotten past it. i figured it was better that they didnt see me. ashley wasnt there though."

"ok then. i think im gonna go to a mountain around here and go snowboarding." in 80 degree weather. "i havent been in a while and its pretty fun. ill have to teach you sometime."
