*Rogue fell back into a wall, but didn't drop the bottle she was carrying by some surprise. Through gritted teeth, Rogue spoke. "There is not much I can do now...all you can do is wait it out...I'm sorry...i didn't mean for it to go this far..."
*Rogue then pushed images into Lydia's mind that were of her...drinking from Cady...a stronger vampire than she...with richer blood...much more power...the emotions sent were of Rogue trying to control this new...edge that she found herself in. Becoming an elder did not help, and the lack of years experience...her own fear of herself...then she pulled her power back stopping the flow of memories.*

She closed her eyes and let her power go, releasing Rogue from the wall. Her head hung slightly, as if she was trying to hide herself. "I...I know how you feel." Indeed she did. Fearing, even hating herself for what she was, the lack of control that had haunted her for so many years, and just not knowing herself truly. It was all almost too much to bear. "You said I have to wait this out, but it is becoming stronger. How long do I have to wait, and is there any way I can stop it now?"

*Rogue looked at her with intense green eyes...they flickered brightly once then went dark as she looked away, not wanting to give Lydia an answer.
She put the bottle she was holding up to her lips and took a long swig.*

She looked up to meet Rogue's gaze...which was averted. She raised an eyebrow. Obviously she was not going to like this, but that never stopped her from trying to gain knowledge. "Well? Please do not make me try to force myself into your mind to glean the information."

*Rogue's head snapped up as her eyes focused in an intense glare upon Lydia. They turned from black to a glowing green.*
"Let it run it's course."
*She spoke in a low final tone, and as she spoke she felt her own aura condense, it coursed with energy...*

"What do you mean by 'run its course'? You mean to say to just let this sit until it goes away?" she asked, a bit of heat in her voice. "There is a way to stop it, is there not? Why will you not tell me?" She met Rogue's gaze just as strongly.

"Kerrigan may not appreciate you smoking in her apartment." she said tersly, lowering her head again. This time, it was to hide her eyes, which had gone wide and white to signify that her powers were in use. She forced her way along the bond, hoping to break down Rogue's mental defenses enough to find out what the vampire was hiding.

*Rogue took a drag on the cigarette as she felt Lydia trying to push her way into the vampire's mind. Rogue set the bottle on the floor quickly and moved forward in somewhat of a blur, putting a hand around Lydia's neck and giving it a threatening squeeze...*
"You don't want to know. Trust me when I say it."
*Rogue then let go and took a step back.*

"I thought that you had gotten over your pathetic temper tantrum from before." she said, a cocky grin on her features. Well, the alcohol was certainly taking an effect now. "You certainly seem to have the mentality of a child more often then not. Why do you not just tell me? I know that you want to; it is written all over you."

*Rogue smiled and looked down slightly, lifting an eyebrow.*
"Yes. I am wreckless and playful aren't I....only being around half a millenium in age, one would think I could grow up."
*She laughed and went back to the floor to pick up her bottle. Why didn't she just tell her. Probably because Lydia would want to drop kick her back to France...and she wasn't in the mood to fight. She hadn't really fed in days...but she held back her hunger.*
"Have sex with William."
*She took a drag on the cigarette and looked to Kerri.* "I hope you don't mind."
*She then took a drink.*

Her face went expressionless for a moment as her brain tried to comprehend what Rogue had just said. As usual, she looked a bit sleepy and more than a bit drunk, which was understandable given the amount of alcohol Lydia had ingested. Her eye twitched as the information sank in, and eventually she shouted out "WHAT?!" The couch nearby randomly tipped over as if someone had pushed it violently. Lydia turned her head to stare at it with a weird, almost stupid expression. "Oops."

*Rogue looked over to the couch and was hoping she wasn't the next thing flung across the room. She leaned against a wall then slid down keeping her eyes on Lydia.*
"You might want to have another drink.."

"Or not...alcohol, being a dperessant, makes my control over my powers slackened, so it bursts out randomly like that." she said, her eyes going white to put the couch baack where it was. "But another drink does sound like a good idea right about now."
