No. I won't drag him into this.
He turned down her offer of vitae...he was hungry, yes, but he was not so much so as to need it yet. He'd likely find his own source sometime later this evening.
He doesn't know we exist....and I don't want him to find out...he could take the knowledge, but by pulling him under protection, it just removes all doubt anyone may have about a possible weakness. I cannot do it for these reasons, among others.

Lowering her glass from her lips, she rested it on her lap as she turned her body to face him, her tiny feet resting on the rungs of his stool. "I see," she murmured faintly, thinking about it. She was sure that Roan could move him without him knowing what they were..but what kind of excuse would there be to tell him. Besides... if there was a leak somewhere, it'd be easier to track where his brother was and how to get to him. "Is there anything I can do," she asked him, lowering her eyes to the glass once again.
Draining most of her glass, she grabbed the packet and started to pour the rest of the blood into the glass. She had been about to say something about him turning it down, but bite her tongue to keep from upsetting him. "Iden... your still angry with me, why are you staying," she asked him, trying to pick her words so not to offend or upset him and get another fight going.

Because it sounds like you've gotten over yourself, and are willing to listen for once....though if I'm wrong, tell me. I'm not in the mood to be only wasting my breath.
He used his thumb to snap the neck of the bottle, then he took it to his lips and drained a fair portion of its contents in one go. He then set the bottle aside as he drew the habitual gutteral groan of pleasure that he still somehow managed to find in his drink.

Huffing quietly into her glass, she narrowed her eyes in distaste at his words about her, but let it slide... knowing it was best for them not to fight after all. "Pan and Leer helped me see that we're both right in our own ways... and I have to give into that while we'll disagree, sometimes we're both right... it's just the way people see things," she told him with a faint shrug. "Anything I can do to make your mood better," she asked him with a grin, she was for the most part teasing him and trying ot ligten his mood by joking about with him. It most likely going to make it worse... but there was those rare times that it'd make it better afte rall....

Yeah. There is one thing. Support the kid, whatever his decision is, and for the love of God, don't let Ice turn him into another soulless little machine of death. Maybe you'll learn something from him, I dunno.
He took the bottle in hand once again, then after eying it for a few moments, he simply downed the remaineder of the drink in a single chug. Afterwards, he held the bottle up, over his face, and simply stared at it for a few moments.
Heh...I'm too damn human for my own good, aren't I?

Tilting her head to the side, she nodded with a smirk directed at him. "I already planned on doing so... Ice's his sire, but I'll be there for him when he needs me and help guide him if he comes to me about such... And I don't see him being that bad, I think he'll be like you," she told him with a grin, wondering if he'll get what she was meaning.
Finishing her own drink off, she sat the glass to the side with a satsified smirk on her lips before grinning at his murmured comment. Leaning forward more, she gently patted his thigh in a friendly manner before withdrawing her hand again. "Most likely, but if your enemies don't know... besides, you seem to think it's worth it," she reminded him.

Good....though I hope for his sake that he doesn't make the mistakes I've made.
He blinked as he set the bottle aside. Had she heard his mutterings? Damn...he hadn't thought he'd said that out loud...
It's....the only thing I've got, if you will. That's why you pissed me off so much, and why I still can't bring myself to let that go. Of the whole clan, only one two others have shown ANY basic human decency.....and you wonder why I can't call them family.

Smirking faintly, she shook her head at him before leaning up against the bar counter now. "He's young... but hopefully, he'll see and hear about our mistakes and learn from them," she told him with a faint smile that was soon gone. It was all they could hope for... and if he didn't.. maybe he'd learn from his own mistakes nad he did have friends to be there that'd help him afterwords.
Seeing the look of surprise she only grinned her answer, but not telling him how she had been able to hear him. It was something she liked ot keep to herself, incase of needing it in a mission or fight even. "You got love and hope... and I have pain and anger," she told him with a faint shake of her head. "You are different from them... but you still share blood, if you like that fact or not," she pointed out to him.

Pain and anger....yes, there's a good deal of that in this life....but if you do not balance it out with the good things in life, the simple joys, then what have you gained?
He sighed, then leaned back in his seat.
For what does it profit a man, to gain the world at the cost of his own soul? Matthew 16:26, if I'm not mistaken..
For the first time since he'd entered the bar, he looked her in the eye.
You say you're better off as you are, with no ties...but what cost have you payed for that little bit of security?

Shaking her head, she tried not to make comments on how he wa so stuck on life being about pleasure and happiness... Watching him carefully, she smirked faintly at his quoting, still not commenting about his words. Feeling his eyes on her own, she lifted her's to meet his and frowned at him. Bella wanted to look away from him... but felt unable to do such. "I don't have to worry about those I love," she told him faintly, knowing what he was getting at ... and he did have a point about it. She had paid dearly and lots for that tiny bit of security in her life and reassurance. Grinning though, she shook her head before brushing her hair from her face, only for it to land before her eyes again. "Besides, who'd want an old elf like me," she asked him, trying to make jokes and light of the situation.

You'd be surprised. Just...stop making it sound like life is only about suffering, and that bad things are reason to not enjoy what you have. I can't imagine a more hollow life than one of detatchment.
He idly tossed his bottle over his shoulder, and smiled as he listened to it shatter.

Grinning at him, she shook her head faintly at him. "Oh, really? Name one guy that'd want more then just a one nighter with me," she changelled him, knowing or at least thinking he couldn't do such a thing. "Besides... what do I have to enjoy? I have no family left, barely any friends," she told him before lowering her eyes to her lap once again.

If you hadn't pushed things.....
He shrugged. Of course, it would have taken a while for him to get to trust her enough for that sort of thing...a LONG while...and after all the bickering they'd gone through, he doubted that'd ever happen. He'd talk to her, but beyond that, not much else.
No family or friends? Well it's not like you've been TRYING, since you're so caught up in your pessimism. You can't expect this kind of thing to just stumble upon you unless you're willing to LET it happen.
He began to chuckle. It was ironic...the man who had placed such a heavy taboo on ever having a relationship with a woman again was trying to give advice on having just that. It was strange, how the world worked. Maybe Roan's opening of his eyes had done him more good than he'd realized...up until now, he hadn't thought of just how much pent up anger and agony he'd let go of since then.

Her emerald green eyes snapped up from her lap as they widdened slightly, her mouth opened in surprise as her cheeks turned a faint pink color. "Y-you?" she managed to stutter, barely above a whisper before blushing more as she realized she was making a fool of herself. Letting her eyes drop down again, she bowed her head slightly as she thought about his words. After a few moments of silence, she pushed her hair back once again before leaning closer to him with a tilt of her head. "Since you seem to be so keen on showing me that there is a reason to let people in and have happiness.. why don't you show me yourself then," she asked him, still speaking softly as her cheeks turned a faint red color. Her arms were resting above her crossed knees, her tail idly wagging behind her across the stool and hitting the ground wiht hte piercing and spaded part.

Ah, but you see....therein lies the problem.
He folded his hands together behind his head, and rested gently upon them.
As it were, I cannot say I'm inclined to fall in your direction...after all, you REALLY ******** that idea over last week. Hypocracy, anger, and a blatant refusal to listen....no, I can't say there's any reason for you to blush like you are. However...
He adopted his trademark grin, a cocky sort of look that made it seem like he was ready and able to take on the world.
As horrible as I am at this sort of thing, I can say that I'm glad you stopped me from leaving. Having someone actually listen for once puts hope in the place I need it most.
