Lan and Nal had been walking for several hours, their long and powerful legs moving them much futher and much faster then normal people. They had been in a heated debate all day, which incidently did lead to a fist fight more then once.
"Aye, but what if you're attempting to protect one innocent within a swath of evil, your fire would destroy it."

"No...you don't understand, the mission of all the Mother's creation is to defend the innocent...not destroy them!"

Despite their obvious differences they still shared one thing in common, their undieing yern for peace. The Earthen Brother spoke of a place surrounded by evil, but a place of ultimate peace. The Lady Air, that Nal spoke of, only helped solidify the statement. Lan and Nal were quickly approaching the citadel, the chrome walls could already be seen, the moon light shineing off the walls.

Nal held out his muscular arm to bar Lan's path.
"Aye, I feel that. I really do not care, I seek peace!"
"As much as you...I seek peace as well, but walking into a litteral death trap is no way to find the peace you search for."
Lan nodded his head, pausing for a long moment.
"Very well...we will wait."
"Not like we haven't been waiting for...well...since the begining of time."

*Mastema is starting to get annoyed with the visitors that come to his citadel* Hmm.... *He turns back to Nana* Binding sounds like the most effective method. Are you sure Thanatos would be able to master it?

*He nods* Then Thanatos should have no trouble. I've seen him learn various concepts with surprising ease and speed before. I'm aware that you've seen his work shop..... all of those crafting abilities he learned himself....

*He chuckles* Well you must have been.... where else would you find the tools to restore a piano. *He grins* You needed worry... I've been careful to keep out of your thoughts. *He nods* Thanatos has a fascination with glass. I never could find out just why....
