*twitches* That makes it worse - I get freaked out by regular ones! Much less even more frightening ones...Though I'm not so bad that I get freaked out by the ones made in the 70's and 80's ^^
*loves the old B movie type things*

I would have to sleep in my closet to be able to fall asleep sweatdrop

*amused* Why is it in your closet? (is she in the closet still *grins at the bad joke*) Or is it to preserve space on your walls for other things?
...for me, if I had something like that (which I wouldn't simply because it's a horror movie person) I'd probobly have it in the closet just so I didn't get nightmares from all that stuff staring down (or across) at me.

xd Yeah, I keep her there. I also have a magazine under the couch, and stuff I still need to put on the board in a folder under my bed.
The only trace of her on my wall is my "Obsessions" poster, where I posted a movie review and a picture where she's alive and non-scary ^^;
I think I might put a certain one where she's glaring at the screen and it says, " Thank you, Mom. For everything." Which refers to how her mother killed her by shoving her down the well and then killed herself.

*snicker* so if some random person see's the poster, and doesn't realize what the movie is or anything about it, they'll think it's a bit strange, but not really frightening...while if you know the backstory, it is. So why would you want that staring down on you? *quirks an eyebrow*
Seems to fall under the closet category, simply because of your knowledge of the backstory.

Well, it's the main reason I like Samara so much. I know how she feels about her mother and father... sorta. Her mother killed her out of passion. She was torn between her husband and her daughter, and tearfully chose her husband. The father didn't like Samara, because she had powers that could minipulate technolgy. There is a theroy they came from him but yeah. Anyways, that's how she's able to kill. She minipulates our technolgy out of anger toward her parents, which I can relate to.
Though, the second movie may say otherwise as it gos deeper into the girl's past >.>

Nice ^^ you can tell it's not an American horror movie. American horror movies never really give understandable reasons to their 'villains', or ones that you can relate to. I like psychological things, so it does actually sound good...except for all the horror parts smile

Exactly. American horror is all about killing without a real reason why. The killers don't really have a past or anything and it's not really worth it. whee

*sigh* so true. I hate things like that, that are so black and white. It's like the scriptwriters were thinking 'oh, this is the villain so it can't be any deeper then having a deep desire to kill!' Of course, alot of films - not just horror - do that. It bugs me so much when that happens...
I watch pretty much anything, except for horror and westerns - well, there is an exception to the westerns. Blazing Saddles...awesome movie. Of course, it's whole purpose to make fun of westerns, so that may have something to do with it.

*chuckles* Yup. You should try watching those old Horror movies from the 60's on...there are some that are so great, because of: A) the poor acting, B) it's incredibly fake. If somebody gets a cut, blood splurts out like a water pipe with a leak, and does so as if somebodies squeezing a bottle! (which they probobly did...)
When I was little there was only one time of movie I was afraid of: volcano movies. I have no clue why, but I had a paranoia of volcanos...and now that's gone and shifted into horror.
