eh? ::the main seemed to phase out of focus when she turned and was now infront of her again:: Leave? You thnk that you can just turn around and go back to find something that you lost?
::behind the man now was a solid wall, where once there had been a passage that she had actually walked down::

Kei's breath was steady when she finally got to the ground, the slow descent had made it easy for her to keep her energy. "Now to shift some chakra to my feet and get going." Quickly Kei walked towards the center of the city, where she had seen the person. Her walk had been speeded up by the chakra to almost the equivalent of a quick jog
The dead buildings seemed to gape at her, almost seemed to glare in hatred at her retreating from. The foreboding feeling was scary to Kei. "This place is weird, I don't like it" she muttered to herself before continuing on her short journey.

::the tone kept sounding, louder and louder as the drew near the center. The houses grew slightly further apart as they neared the center of the city, before it finally gave way to an open area, a town square of sorts. In the center of the square was what appeared to be a large metal gong, infront of it, a woman who had her eyes closed and was sitting with her back against one of the support beams. The sound was still spreading through the village, but nothing actually appeared to be hitting the gong at all::

::he took out one of her kunai's andran a finger along the edge for a moment::
Are these important to you? They're old you know...why don't you get something new and shine, with a better edge
::he grinned, showing too perfect teeth to her, stashing the kunai again::

Hakaku arrived from the west side at the town center. He noticed the woman standing there, the noise eminating from her area, but no apperant source of the noise. Hakaku assumed the gong was still reverberating as they tend to vibrate for a long time unless stopped. He approached the lady, the kitten in his hands still. "Hello? M'am are you alright, what happened here?"

::the woman didn't move, she was barely breathing, as another sounding of the tone went off, as if someone had just hit the gong, yet nothing had happened. The little pebbles around started to rumble around on the ground, the sound this close was nearly deafening. The woman, however, seemed unbothered by it and remained sitting, her back against the pillar supporting the gong::
::the kitten mewed loudly and attempted to bury its head into Hakaku as the deafening noise sounded::

Hakaku was startled when the gong sounded. There was nothing to mark something was striking it. It rang violently in his ears, he was afraid his ears might begin to bleed if the noise got too loud, but for no he managed. He cupped one hand over the other aiding the distressed kitten in attemtps to evade the sound. He began to speak attempting to yell over the loud gong. "What are you!" Hakaku was slowly inching his way closer to the old woman. She wasn't natural, that was for sure. The sound ached in his ears.

Rei looked down to the man " You are the most bothersome person I'd have ever met, you know that" She took some exploding tags out of her holster and truw them all the wall 'if thats a Genjutsu wall they should go right thruw it'

Kaida stood there for a moment and looked at his overly perfect teeth and simply comented. "Wow you must brush those after every meal to get a shine like that." Kaida had held onto those kunai or kept them close ever since her mother's death but she would not show weakness even if it meant parting with something so precious to her as that. "And besides... sometimes something dull and old is much more important and useful than something new and shiny."

A loud sound rushed through the area once before Kei made it into the center of the city, the echos stung in her ears, but Kei was able to tone it out after hastily placing ear plugs in her ear. Spotting the student holding the cat and the woman leaning against the pillar Kei ran to them. "What's going on!" she loudly asked Hakaku, when the gong's reverberance began to quiet down.

::the woman seemed entirely unaffected by the deafening sound, despite how close she was to it. For a breif moment, she actually appeared to be inhaling, something that they had not seen her do up until this point. Her eye lids twitched slightly, and her mouth parted slightly::

Hakaku still holding the cat was the closest to her, and noticed the change in her face. He paused in his steps towards the woman and watched waiting for more. He felt the cat becomming agitated with the noise, and slightly backed off from the gong. Even his own ears were being numbed to the point they couldn't hear anything. "Lady! Can you hear me!?!" He called out once more. Even a deff person would be in pain in this noise

Kaida watched the movements of the man. "They are something to my family, a reminder of the past that keeps us on the correct path to the future." She kept a calm sort of look on her face. "Material posessions are nothing to get attatched to for when a person becomes attatched to something they then create a weakness for themselves."

Rei luaghed a little " Just checking if its a Genjutsu wall thats all, and to see if it would bring the cave down but that it did not" she rubbedthe back of her neck "So why do you keep me from passing out of here?, is there a point to this or just a funny little game that I'm apart of" she crossed her arms

::the woman opened her eyes and actually seemed to be surprised to see Hakaku standing there with a frightened kitty in his arms. It took her a moment of trying but eventually she was able to get sounds to pass her lips::

Hakaku could barely hear the woman through the agonizing noise. He managed to make out enough to piece together what she said after a moment of nearly ten seconds managed to fully understand her and replyed. "I am here to help. We need to get you out of here!" Hakaku raised his voice to make his communication easier to hear. he was also in the midst of comming closer to the woman, keeping his hands claps arounc the cat, trying to minimize the sound entering the black ash layered kitten ears. Slowly he got closer to the old woman.
