"Yeah, I guess so," Rin said still a bit dissappointed. "Well I have no business left in Goldenrod. I can help you get back to Azalea now if you want." Sakura floated by once again enjoying the gentle breeze. She would rather be among the flowers, but this was better than being in that stuffy building.

"H-hi." Z stuttered as Lyn and Summer dipped into the hotspring next to him. Summer was wearing a swim suit that did not leave much up to the imagination. Let's just say it was yellow and two piece for the sake of the kiddies that might read this. "Yo." Lyn said as she tilted her head back as she relaxed in the hotspring. "Hi!" Summer said excitedly as she adjusted to the hot water. "S-so w-what were you saying b-before about our dad?" Z asked trying to keep his composure next to Summer who he was now sure he was in love with and in the extremley hot water. "Oh yeah. He traveled with my dad when they were both kids training to become pokemon masters. In fact your grandfather bred both of their starting pokemon. Later when they were teenagers my mom joined the group and well one thing led to another and your dad became a pokemon breeder my dad became a master trainer and my mom became an expert co-ordinater and married my dad. For my tenth birthday as a present your dad bred my vulpix for me when I started my journey." Summer said as she remembered the first time she had met Jin.

The Steel Wing attack did the trick finally knocking the Zangoose out. Unfortunatly the passed out pokemon wouldn't let go even in his unconscious state. Norman watched his pokemon hanging on to the bird not quite sure how to recall it through the mass of feather's and flapping wing's. After another moment Zephyr finally grew tired and started to fall. Without even thinking the gym leader made a leap, being the closer of the two trainer's and caught the flying bundle with a slight grunt.

Sepperating the two pokemon from each other proved to be somewhat of a problem. Zephyr who was still awake and flapping tiredly still and Zangoose who was unconscious but still holding on visiously. Finally he had to resort to putting the pokeball close to Zangoose to draw him inside. That done he stood up and whiping a bit of sweat from his forhead at the effort he gave a grin at Mitsu. "Congradulation's." He started befor stiffling a yawn. " You have just gotten your next badge." Looking around for where he usually kept his badge's and patting himself down to make sure he didn't have any he frowned. "Umm... Hmmm... I can't seem to find my badge's. It's pretty late to, how about you come over to my house and spend the night and we can look for your badge in the morning. I promise I am not trying to cheat you out of it or anything." He added that last part rather hastily. The whole situation was somewhat embarrising.

"Awesome! I never knew. My dad never told me many stories about when he was a young pokemon breeder." Z said as he slid slightly deeper into the water so that it was almost up to his mouth. Shino was making ripples in the water with his claws, much to his amusement. "That makes you almost like my cousin dosen't it?" Summer said smiling sweetly. " . . . Yeah . . ." Z said not realy wanting Summer to think of him that way. "So what kind of pokemon do you guys use?" Summer asked trying to make conversation as the three relaxed in the hotspring. "I use fast pokemon. They may be week but they can easily dodge attacks and they can always keep a barrage of attacks going." Z said smiling as he reached back and patted Shino on the head. "But Nincada isn't a fast pokemon." Summer said looking slightly confused. "True but he evolves into one of the fastest pokemon known to mankind." Z said scratching Shino under the wings just the way he liked it. "Niiin." Shino purred as he stretched out slightly. Z chuckled and smiled at him.

"I use pokemon with god defenses. I like to outlast my opponent." Lyn said without opening her eyes. "Cool! I like pokemon with high attack and special attack! We all fit together like on big family!" Summer said pulling both Lyn and Z into a tight hug while laughing. Lyn scowled slihgtly. Amy who was skating along the surface of the pool laughed at her trainers expression. Summer let go and smiled laughing at Lyn's scowl and Z's blush. "Well it's getting pretty late and it is dangerous to stay in a hot tub for to long so I guess I'll head in." Z said standing up after a few minutes of silenece. "Okay! See you tomorrow!" Summer said waving goodbye to Z. "Night." Lyn said again not bothering to look at Z. "Let's go Shino." Z said picking up the small bug pokemon as he exited the hottub. Z walked to the changing room and got dry. He changed into his normal clothes then went back into the hallway of the hotel hoping to find his room. He took the key that teh lady at teh front desk had given him and saw that he was in room 4. Z looked downt eh corridor and saw that it was almost right nxt to the lobby. Z unlocked the door and entered. He jumped onto his bed and pulled the covers over him hoping to fall asleep quickly so he could be as perky as possible the next day.

After turning the PC off, Nina just stood in front of it, not moving or even breathing for a few moments. All of the information that she had been presented with was finally sinking into her head. When it had actually hit her, she sharply breathed in and seemed to snap back into reality.

"Miss?" Nurse Joy asked, peering over at her from behind the counter as she came out from a back room, "Is there something wrong?"

"Y... yes, Nurse Joy, there is!" Nina rushed over to the counter and said, "A man who uses Pokemon as murder weapons is coming to one of the regions, except I'm not sure where he's going to go first!"

Nurse Joy wore an expression that mirrored Nina's initial shock. "You can't be serious!" she exclaimed. "Wait... you aren't referring to maorde menskr, are you? The Slayer of Humans?" When Nurse Joy saw Nina nod, she grew quiet for a moment. "But... I thought he was just a myth! I thought he was only made up to scare children into behaving well! My father always used to say to me that if I didn't behave, then the Slayer would get me!"

Nina stared at Nurse Joy increduously. "You can't be serious!" she replied. "That's a terrible thing for a father to say to a child!"

"Well, my father is a terrible person," Joy said bitterly. "But that's not important. If the Slayer does indeed exist and he is coming, we must warn as many people as possible. I'll contact all of the other Pokemon Centers that I can, and I'll alert all of the Elite Trainers in all divisions of the Pokemon League."

"Thank you, Nurse. By the way, my name is Nina. If you need to call me for anything," she said, writing a number on a small slip of paper, "this is the number to my Pokenav. Don't hesitate if you need something."

Nurse Joy nodded, taking the piece of paper and examining it, before putting it in a breast pocket of her shirt. "Wait," Joy began, "you aren't leaving, are you? What will you do?"

"No," Nina replied. "I'm not leaving, not yet anyway. For now, I'm going to do my part and contact my friends." Joy nodded and walked into the back room again, and after a few moments Nina could hear her talking on the telephone.

"Sounds like a plan," Nina muttered. She reached for her Pokenav and dialed the first number on her list: Kasiya. I hope she hasn't gone to sleep yet...

"You forget quite easily," Giovanni smirked, "These Rocket Guards aren't just your normal members of Team Rocket. They're the cream of the crop. I seriously doubt that you can defeat all five of them," he shook his head, snapping his fingers. The Guards dispersed throughout the Gym and disappeared. Giovanni eyed the Meowth when it spoke then chose to ignore it.

"Now? What exactly do you want?" the man growled.

The ringing of her PokeNav cut through the silence of the night, causing Kasiya to let out a surprised squeal. Shocker opened her eyes, studying her trainer as she fumbled to pull it out of her front vest pocket, and looked at the number, dimly lit by the small fire she'd managed to get going. "Nina," she said quietly, remembering that she'd left her friend a note saying she could call her for any reason, at any time. Her hands trembling slightly, she clicked it on, and brought it up to her ear. "Nina? What's up?" she asked, trying to hide the tremor in her voice. She looked up as a pair of glowing yellow eyes appeared from across the firelight, and Seto walked slowly towards her. Kasiya looked at him hopefully, but the Persian's ears drooped and he shook his head. Kasiya smiled at him and beckoned for him to come over and sit with her and Shocker.

The day was young when M.A. and Houndour set out; the sun, still golden enough to peek at with bare eyes, lit the leaves of the trees as well as the tops of the grass around them with a gorgeous glow.

Ms. Norwen had offered to give them more provisions, but M.A. had politely refused -- after all, she still had quite a bit of stuff from home. Her backpack was barely less than stuffed, but as it was padded in such a convenient way, it didn't hurt her to carry it much. This, the PokeNav, and permission to leave had all been birthday presents for her just a week before. The one thing that M.A. did accept from the elderly lady was her advice.

"Go out there, have fun, and grow stronger at the same time! Eventually, you'll want to find some travelling companions too; I know Houndour's company, but even you must've felt that it was a little lonely yesterday." Ms. Norwen had also urged her that, if she would find those permanent or at least semi-permanent companions, that they shouldn't be too much stronger than herself; the woman hadn't told MA the reason, but she knew that if the girl was out-powered by a ton, no matter how much she admired those travelling buddies. . . If she wasn't on par with them, knowing MA, she'd feel like a burden to them, the one they couldn't count on to help.

So, MA and Houndour set off, beginning the /real/ journey; from there on out, everything was new to them both.
PostPosted: Sat Dec 30, 2006 9:57 am

It was an uneventful start, for the most part. Fully rested and cheery, the two took their time with their walking, taking in the sights like Ms. Norwen suggested. Here and there, they watched some trainers go at it; for one reason or another, though, none requested a battle with her and Houndour. Watching battles got the little puppy excited, though, and MA even caught him wagging his tail like any other pup a couple times. She only smiled, and Houndour couldn't help but give a wolfish, embarrased grin. He really was warming up to her, bit by bit.

Their light breakfast didn't last with them long, and before they knew it, they were feeling a bit hungry -- snack time, it was for them. Or rather, with MA's elaboration, brunch. Mary-Anne, just for the record, was a marvelous and resourceful little cook, and with her supplies and a few herbs that she plucked from the fields (one of her brother's guides had showed her which plants were to be avoided), she soon had a lovely little spread for them. If only she could have a oven, she could make Houndour's favorite sweets, she thought with a little grin; in her head, she imagined her and Houndour trying to carry a huge oven around with them, along with quite an assortment of kitchen utensils.

But a fire and a pan would do, certainly, and Houndour had no complaints whatsoever, scarfing down the food. MA remembered the first time she had laid food in front of him; he had refused sulkily, and for days it was all the family could do to get him to eat. In fact, for the first week, every night he would howl and cry, the way young puppies do when separated from their mothers. After that, though, he never permitted himself to show an ounce of weakness, and it almost felt like his heart froze over. That was why, though, that MA planned to head to Johto for a while, to perhaps search for Houndour's pack -- if it'd make him happy, then. . .

Since she was so deep in thought -- it's really comical to see MA try to think hard, what with her trying-to-be-serious expression and young brows squished together -- she didn't even realize that it began to sprinkle, a bit. Then, without much warning, the heavens let down an onslought of rain.

"Oh dear! We better hustle up and find some shelter. . . Lavaridge is a few hours away, but perhaps there's something in between we can stop at." MA said, quickly packing away the pan (although she let the rain wash it off a bit) and pulled out an orange rain poncho for herself. Houndour had one too, but from the look he gave her, she could tell that he'd rather take the rain then put that silly little neon pink thing on. Stinkin' Michael had to have his last joke, after all.

Violet raised an eyebrow at him but didn't say anything for a moment. "Can't we go someplace a little more comfertable?" She said befor shrugging and continuing on not really caring that much about where they were. "Like I said I came to make a deal with you. It's not anything that you haven't been doing all ready, I am mostly here as insurance is all." The beautiful women explained trying to make it sound like it wouldn't be a big deal for him to do what she was going to ask of him. " All I want you to do is continue to ignore one person. No matter what he does even if he decided to invade your base or something. Which he wouldn't do in the first place."

Excitement sprang though Mitsu's veins as Zyphyr dealt the final blow. The situation afterwards was slightly akward, but Mitsu was glad that the Norman had figured it out. She recalled Zyphyr and clipped his Great Ball into place. "Thanks," she said with a wide grin already picturing her fifth badge in her case along side the others. "That sounds great. It is pretty late isn't it?" Mitsu took one glance at the place. "Oh!" she said as a red color sprang to her face. "I never intoduced myself. I'm Mitsu," she said rather embarrassed. "And it looks like we'll have a lot to clean up." Once more remembering another thing she asked the leader, "Would you happen to have a place to heal my Pokemon, or should I stop by the Pokemon Center?" She remembered the Clefable carrying his Pokemon off for treatment.

Norman just laughed at her comment. "It has been a pleasure Mitsu." Looking around he spotted Clefable in what was left of a small building holding his pokeballs. "Well I think that my machine might be broken. Don't worry though I have a lot of healing item's at my house I am sure we could fix your pokemon up befor we head out tomarrow." Watching the Clefable hop over to them he took the pokeball's she offered to him befor putting the fairy pokemon back into her pokeball and put them all back onto his belt and took off another one and tossed it out to reveal a Dodrio. " You dont have to help me clean up tomarrow. I am just going to rebuild that part of the gym, I was sick of it getting wreaked anyway." Hoping up onto the three headed bird he held a hand out to Mitsu to help her up. "I live in Littleroot and I don't feel like walking much." He explained easily.

(( Do we get to meet May and Max? xD ))

"All right," Mitsu said with a nod before accepting his help. "That was tough. I didn't think I could have pulled it off there for a second." Mitsu said attempting to strike a conversation.

((If you rp them. I dont watch the show I just play the games.))

"You did a very good job in that battle. Your Gengar really did a number on my team." He said with a smile as the powerful bird took off running at a high speed covering the distance with long ground eatting stride's. After a few minutes of running the large bird made it to Littleroot town and stopped outside of a nice looking house. Dismounting the bird he helped Mitsu down as well befor putting the powerful bird pokemon away. Pulling out a pair of key's he unlocked the door and opened it into a dark house. "Our healing supplies are in the bathroom." He explained as he flipped the light switch illuminiating the house.
