I s**t you not, my mother tried to tie my path's concept of the Ether to YHVH directly.
How the nonsentient sum total of all spiritual and material matter and energy in our universe can be claimed to be the omnipotent sentient anthropomorphic and transcendent deity who put his son on this earth to die for our sins is beyond me.

If expressed in bizarre and painful syntax and spelling, I don't exactly see how this is completely incorrect. "Christ" is a title. Buddha is also a title. However, I don't believe the two could be considered homologous. Was it that point you were snarking? Or the whole thing?

A bit of both. The whole thing came at the end of a conversation about how Wicca pre-dated Gardner, by the time he said what I quoted - my brain was already numb. I proabably should have quoted this part too: Quote: all i was saying i disagree with it being called Gardner Wicca cauz i know one person cant just make a claim and say he created it! thats just as bad as people saying Jesus made Christianity
