Sen sits on his knee in front of the fireplace, his eyes closed, seeming to be asleep. His ears perk ever so slightly at the sounds of the tavern. His eyes open slowly to a crackling fire a few feet in front of him. His eyes stare into the flames, watching the slight movements they make as they wrap around the log for sustenance. Sen stays completely still, almost hypnotized by the fire, the warmth embracing him.

*Aykon nods to Heather's statements. It wasn't very happy for him but he figured that he had at least tried to be nice. He did worry some about Joey but figured the young man needed some time alone.*

*His eyes dodged over to Sen seeming frozen by the fire. He chuckled inwardly at his own statement and then approached the door.*

Alright then...if you don't want a room then feel free to sleep here on the couch but the doors are locking now.

*The inkeeper now approaches the door, he slides a heavy deadbolt across each double door and then a large wooden crossblock down from the top.*

No one else gets in or out for the night...

*Aykon nods and smiles*

That's okay, you look exhausted dear, you ought to go to bed. Go on now! It looks like Ksi made you work really hard. He's a good man but his training is strict. Congrats for lasting thus far. Now get on up to bed and rest for the night!

*The smile on the kind inkeeper's face showed that he was only being partially serious, he was mostly just trying to look out for you.*

*Aykon sees Sen resting in front of the fire. He appears to be asleep but Aykon had seen him in action before and knew that this could be part of his training. Casually he approached him...*

Anou...Sen...are you ok? Oh...and Gremlina is here...she was looking for you...

*He bit his lower lip in hopes of not saying the wrong thing, he didn't want to salt an open wound.*

((Happy birthday for you! Don't get too s-faced during your party. Also...*psst* here's a little secret. When you turn 21, drinking alcohol doesn't seem as cool because there is nothing risky about it. smile ))

*Synge lets out a tired sigh as she moves over to her bag of stuff neatly stored near the bed. Taking off her gloves and jacket, she sets them next to the bag and then moves over to the bath area. Turning the knobs of the bath, she sets the water to a warm temperature and lets it run until the tub is full. Not wasting any time, Synge pulls her remaining clothing off and steps into the water. The warm water feels soothing against her tired body and she lets herself relax in the tub until the water loses its warmth. Relunctantly, she drains the water and stands up in the tub. Now she turns on the shower and uses the nearby shampoo and soap to get clean. Refreshed and clean, she turns off the water and dries off with a towel. After wrapping the towel around her, she picks up the discarded clothes and brings them over to her bag area, where she pulls out her nightclothes and slips them on. The only thing left is to brush her teeth, which she does quickly before letting herself fall into the comforts of the bed. She adjusts the covers to her liking and takes one of the extra pillows to curl up with as she peacefully falls into sleep.*

((Wow! Really? Happy 21st then! This is a very birthday heavy month, you two guys had yours, my friend Annette had hers, my friend's daughter had her 2nd birthday and my friend's wife had her birthday too...February is a great month for birthdays. ))
