Tim opened his mouth to say it really wasn't Daren't fault, but decided against it. The other might grow from rude to mad with a few short words and the red-head experienced that far too much to ignore it. "I know you wouldn't hurt me, Aomine. I trust you." and gave the officer a small smile before sitting down. "I hope it tastes great. And I am actually not a big fan of peanut utter." Okay, so he hated ut, but he'd survive.

Daren smiled, "it's my favorite way to eat plain pancakes, but it's not for everyone. there are some people that put nutella on there and that's really good too." he shrugged, "but i like simple ones with chocolate chips better since the chocolate's melted and all gooey."vhe took another bite, enjoying it before drinking his milk. "i was thinking about grabbing chinese on my way home, would you want something? i should be back here by 6, but i can stick it in the oven to keep warm if you are going to be later than that."

"I'm not a fan of nutella either." he said with a small laugh. "Syrup and butter are the only two things that belong on pancakes in my opinion. They compliment the fluffiness of the pancake." and took a bite finally of his breakfast, nodding before taking a sip of milk, "The chocolate chips do compliment it very well." another bite. "Speaking of late nights, I might go out for drinks this weekend, though I may not actually drink at all. If you wanted to come you can, or you can drop me off and pick me up." Since it seemed that Aomine didn't drink at all. Tim wasn't a big fan either but one glass of wine or one martini wouldn't hurt. Just one drink.

Daren shrugged, "The only reason i would go was if you didn't feel safe or wanted me to be there. other than that, you should go out and drink with your friends without me looming over all of you. i'd be happy to come pick the lot of you up when you are done, though. then i won't have to worry about drunk drivers." he winked at tim, knowing the other would never drink and drive, it just wasn't his personality.

"Oh, really?" Why did Tim think that Daren would hop on the chance to come along? Even if not to drink? he was surprised and slightly disappointed at this. But of course he expected Aomine to say no because the man didn't like drinking. "Okay. I might have you drive me, then, if that's all right with you. I don't want to risk driving even if I only had one drink." and finished his pancakes. "I need to schedule a date first. I think it's supposed to be this weekend but I'd like to clarify."

Daren nodded, "All i need to know is when and where to drop you off." he got up, finished, and took his dishes to the kitchen. he washed them and the things used to make breakfast before heading back out, "would it be possible for you to drop me off at the station on your way to work? i left the bike there so i could drive your car back."

Tim finished his milk and gathered his dishes, waiting behind Daren before washing his own. "I can do that! I don't mind at all! It's the least I could do after you brought back my baby." and placed them in the rack, smiling at Daren. TImothy's good mood was restored. "So whenever you're ready I'm ready."

Daren nodded, "i'm good, let's head." he held the door for Tim, waiting for him to go into the hall before locking the door. he was glad Tim was in a good mood again, at least he hadn't ruined the other's day. Daren found, however, that the closer he got to work, the more sour he felt. he kept it hidden, of course, he wasn't going to bother Tim even more, but he'd never had such a strong desire to not go to work before. he hated being desked.

Tim dropped Daren off at work, having made simple small talk and wished the man a pleasant day before driving off to his own job. Once he was there he called Madison to say he could do drinks this weekend, another few minutes of small talk being added before Tim hung up and went to work. He made sure Daniel got his papers this time too. And the rest of the week went in that repetitive manner. Not that Tim minded, but he could see Daren's downward homicidal streak arise the longer he was stuck behind a desk. Not that everything was like stepping on glass no, Daren seemed pretty relaxed once he was abe to unwind at home, it was the going to work part which was more glass stepping. Daren deserved an oscar for his polite acting. But it was finally Saturday and it was time for drinks with Madison. Tim was ashamed to say he couldn't remember his first name. He'd have to ask once they met up.

Daren pulled into the parking lot of a quiet looking bar, "this looks like a nice place." he ran a well trained eye over the building and could already tell that it would have a peaceful atmosphere, the perfect place for a businessman to go have some drinks after work. he hadn't asked who Tim was going with, doing so on purpose since it was none of his damned business and he knew that Tim would probably feel trapped if he asked. "call me when you are done and i'll come pick you up, ok? i'm going to be up for a while, need to finish some filing, so don't worry about staying until the bar closes, ok?" Jason sat at the bar of his favorite place, fidgeting slightly on his stool. He'd discovered Tiga's shortly after Ion's death and here he'd found quite friendship and acceptance. he'd come at least once a week ever since, but this was the first time he'd invited someone else to come here. the bartender lifted an eyebrow and Jason smiled at him, "just waiting for a friend." Dave looked a bit surprised, but he smiled encouragingly after a moment and Jason flushed, "not like that! he's really just a friend!" "of course he is, Jay." Dave patted Jason's shoulder, glad the man that had become his friend over the past months had recovered enough to go out with friends again.

"It really does." Tim murmured. He'd never heard of this place before so he was really nervous. But it looked like Tim had dressed for the occasion, business casual. "Are you going back to the office? Aomine I suggest taking a music player with you. I don't want you going mad filing those papers." Because Daren really wasn't a desk man. "Thank you for driving me. My phone is on high and text me every hour to make sure I'm alive and not dead in a ditch, okay?" He'd never really met Madison outside of the doctor's office. Giving one last smile to Daren he got out of the car, adjusting his clothes before walking in. Him and Madison were friends (through continuously patching up Tim's wounds) so this was okay. Hm, if Tim ever became an assassin he could go to Madison to fix up his wounds. The thought made him smile and giggle, walking in cautiously, scanning the incredibly clean and neat place. Wow, he could have business meetings here, it was so casual yet professional all at once. But where was Madison? He looked around before spotting the man at the bar, quietly walking up to him and lightly touching his shoulder. "Doctor Madison?" he smiled when it was the right man. "Hello. THank you for inviting me."

Madison turned his head at the touch and smiled warmly when he saw Tim, "hey! of course, thank you for coming." he waited for Tim to sit down, noting that they had both gone for more casual clothing and feeling better, he'd been worried Tim would show up in street clothes and he'd be over dressed. "glad you found the place. I come here a lot, it's really peaceful. um," he glanced at Dave who was just smiling, "so they have really great cocktails here and pretty much any kind of drink you want. Dave's a genius bartender, so he could whip you up something special too." Dave had been serving another drink down the way, but he moved back to the end with Jay and his friend at the mention of his name. "Hello, nice to meet you. Dave." he held his hand over the bar to shake the other's hand, "good to see this guy out with friends, he gets mopy when he drinks alone," Dave teased, winking. "Do not!" Jay protested, blushing, "ugh, ignore him, he's a flirt and a tease." Dave shrugged, "guilty. what can i get you? I already know what Jay here wants, he always gets the same thing."

Tim sat down, looking at Madison's clothes real quick and was thankful that Tim himself hadn't overdressed. Tim felt a little under dressed since Madison was wearing a tie. He wished he had an emergency tie with him. "Do you? It does look peaceful here though you're right." and looked around before looking back at Madison, though Madison was looking at someone else. "Really? Because I've heard of this martini--hello. Timothy." and smiled, shaking hands with the new man. "Does he?" Tim giggled, nodding at Madison's words. "Oh, Um, a chocolate martini please." and looked at Dave before looking back at Madison. "Jay?"

"Oh, right, you wouldn't know my first name, would you? Jay is short for Jason, I answer to both so whichever you like." Jason shrugged, "don't get a chance to give out my full name much at work. sorry." Dave placed the chocolate martini in front of Tim and a hock cobbler in front of Jay, "call me if you need anything." he went back to work, giving them space. Jason took a sip and smiled, "he really is brilliant at what he does..." but tonight wasn't about Dave. "so, Tim, how was your week?"

Jason, that made Tim smile. "That's all right, it'll be a bit odd to call you Jason though. I'm sure I'll get used to it." He thanked Dave, taking his martini and sipping it. It was an incredibly girly drink he knew that, and twice as feminine compared to Jason's. But he only allowed himself one drink and he was going to enjoy it. "Tis is probably the best martini I've ever had." and took another sip, licking his upper lip clean of the whipped cream topping. "It's been really good. Everyone at work has been really nice and helpful. Apparently I'm on a 'feeding time' schedule and each person from the office takes me out to eat, making sure I get lunch. I'm thankful for it I really am but it seems a bit much at times. They actually threw a party for when I first arrived, that was kind of them. I want to repay them but I'm not sure how just yet." And Daren, he had to repay Daren too. Daren had done so much, maybe the man would like vacation tickets? Then again Daren wasn't really a materialistic man. "What about you? How has your week been? You look very nice without yoru doctor's coat on." and chuckled, it was only teasing. Mad--Jason was a handsome man either way. Tim had a feeling women faked illnesses just to get him.
