The thought of Kumori ripping the demon from his own soul to kill and absorb it's power seemed pleasant to Kumori. It caused him to chuckle before he nodded once and looked back at Alistair once more. It wasn't exactly what Kumori was expecting when it came to his request, but it was something, better than nothing. The man before him was strong indeed, and Kumori needed some tricks up his sleeve to improve himself. With him speaking about doing his bidding, Kumori nodded once more as he placed his hands on his own hips. "As you wish Alistair. Whenever you ask it, I will do it no questions asked... but what is the Phantom Initiative?" That was something Kumori has never heard of before and it was something intriguing to him.
• Utilize Broken Strength This is automatically activated upon the user achieving a broken arm. The energy and muscle stimulating shocks sent to the broken arm are transfered from the arm to the rest of the user, most of it going to the other arm. This allows the broken limb to be numbed to pain but can be restored at an easier pace. This helps the broken being to weild heavy weaponry with only a single arm like a weapons master, except they do not have access to any of the Weapon Master's skills.
• Shadow Form Most, if not all, physical attacks simply phase through the user. This can be a good and a bad thing. If all the opponent has all weapon and hand to hand styles, then the techniques that do not have energy coated on the weapons will simply go right through the user, making all other attacks useless. This is also bad because if the Shade attempts to attack, once can aim a physical attack at him, forcing him to turn himself into his shadowy form. By disrupting him, all of the skills he used are turned into smoke. The user may also chose to go into his incorporeal form once every three posts, at which point he can't attack.
• Shadow Regeneration The Shades are known to be living and breathing elementals of darkness. Because of that, they are capable of recovering at a slow rate while residing in dark areas or in an ally's shadow. The body is constantly healing for as long as they are within darkness and having their weapons put away. The rate of healing increases with the duration they remain in the darkness. During the regeneration process, the user cannot use offensive Bloodline or Elemental skills. If they are attacked, they have to restart recovery at the slowest rate. 1 post: Small cuts & bruises are healed. 2 Posts: Gashes are turned into small cuts. 3 Posts: Broken limbs can recover within three constant posts inside of darkness. 4 Posts: Internal injuries or burns from light/flame/holy techniques can be recovered. 5 posts: An entire missing body part can be restored at a slow, and painful rate(Excluding the head or torso and it takes 5 full posts waiting in darkness to recover.).
• Shadowy Trail A Shade does not cast a shadow, but can choose to merge with the shadow of an ally, similar to a ninja. In doing so, the Shade can act as a hidden bodyguard, emerging from the allies shadow at will. The Shade can't be detected other than by holy creatures such as Nephilims, or Paladins and Clerics.
• Shadow MQC You can now bend the shadows around you to reach your opponent that would be two spears away from you as you can attack them normally while retaining regular damage. The Shade can perform D-ranked damage when at their full strength while in this fighting style, but this is the only range modifyer this style has. This does not spread to other styles, nor weapons can benefit from learning this ability as this is to be the shade's main Fighting style.
• Vibration Sensory A useful skill, the user channels energy into their feet to sense vibrations on the ground. As long as their feet is on the ground, a user can sense where an enemy is if they are earth bound within 50ft for five posts. This skill becomes passive once the user is Adept Rank.
• Miza's backshield So long as Kumori keeps Miza sheathed on his back, he is able to resist more damage to his back. But the downside is that she can only resist up to D-rank attacks, C ranks causes a rank down in damage and B and higher cause full damage.
• Trusted Wielder This Skill requires you to beat the Spirit inside of the Sword. Miza the Terror can only acknowledge those who can defeat her in combat besides Kumori Hell. Those who can hold her after the defeat of the Sword's spirit, can become one with the sword, gaining the knowledge to use her full potential of the Weapon Style: Miza the Terror. Be wary of the weapon style itself as it can kill the user if they misuse the Style's own techniques, the spirit would even warn them to be careful.
• Miza The Terror Weapon Style Miza has her own Weapon Style.
• Phantom Plane Origins The user's clothing emits a powerful substance of destruction, known as a Black Shuck Virus. The virus comes out to a maximum of 5 feet in battle, but only 2 feet out of fighting. Staying within the reach of the virus, the foe's own shadow vanishes if they are in the virus's range for 4 posts. Kumori's own shadow skill techniques will gain an increase of one rank for the shadows absorbed into his body(maximum shadows needed: 2) and can only last for 5 posts. As well as performing this, the user no longer suffers energy penalties caused from his class.
• Demonic Prowess The blood of the innocent courses through Kumori's non-existant veins, powering his body through death itself. As such, his max energy pool has been increased by 700 while every single one of Kumori's Earth Elemental attacks are now boosted with a natural life draining energy. Any earth that Kumori has influenced with his energy, becomes inhabitable by plantations, but unaffects other mortal creatures. Kumori's weapons and armor can effect skill barriers, normal/skill shields, and Armor.

The anonymity of the Phantom Initiative was what made the program perhaps the most valued program under Alistair's leadership. It was a group of special individuals he personally trained to high ranks in order to protect the city. They were the only 'Royal Guards' that Alistair personally appointed himself, they fought in the shadows and protected the city from threats before the public could even hear about them. "Nevermind that..." He said as he stood up straight, "You know, usually I start with speed training, but your posture suggests you are used to lugging yourself around. You probably couldn't even catch one of my mirror images even if I slowed them down. But you're welcome to try. Suddenly, the man's face began to blur as multiple versions of himself were created. Alistair, on the other hand, leaned back to where he was previously. "If you can catch one of these... I guess I'll be slightly impressed enough to continue this training." Simultaneously, all of the images jumped off to different sides of the training room.
With how quickly Alistair told him 'Nevermind that...', it only made Kumori much more curious about the initiative still. But once he stood up and made a comment about his posture and stance as Kumori rolled his eyes. That was until he saw the man's eyes slowly blur out, along with the rest of his face before he noticed several clones of himself. That was when he gave Kumori his first mission, only causing him to chuckle once before he placed a hand on his waist. "That's it? Fine then." With that, Kumori soon dashed after one of the mirror clones, his eyes focused on it before he soon threw his hands at his side as two black tendrils spawned out of his back.

• Tendrils of Darkness B The user summons up a pair of tendrils of pure darkness out of their back. The tendrils will soon lash out from the user's back all at once with a reach of 8ft aiming to grab ahold of the foe. If it works, each tendril will be holding a wrist or an ankle to hold the foe up, bringing them close to the user. This is to keep the enemy in place for 2 posts, unless they have a strength of 8 or above. This can also be used to hold an opponent off to the side to keep them out of a fight.

As Kumori headed for the mirror image, it took but a split second for the image to take a single step and jump across the room before Kumori could even begin the setup for his attack. "Don't tell me you think you can do this half assed. I'm the hardest man to hit alive. Stop trying to set up for an attack and just do it. This isn't just a test of whether or not you are really fast enough, speed is not your friend, Shade. You slouch like a tired man who just got his a** off the recliner.... Try again."
A cheap tactic from Alistair's mirror along with a cheap low-blow comment to Kumori. It didn't sit well, but it wasn't something Kumori did not get used to. He could easily sense the presence of where the Mirror clone was and didn't even move his body at all. Underneath the Mirror clone, the ground shifted and even more quickly attempted to plant the Mirror in place using hard stones to try and wrap themselves around the Clone's feet. The insult kind of felt like something to try and boost Kumori's work-ethics, to push himself.

• Stone Trapping B Must know Earth Trapping, must be at least Adept Rank A stronger version of the earth trapping skill. Earth moves around the target's feet and hardens on a high magnitude trapping the target. To break free, the target must have a strength of 9 and above. That or a C rank water skill and/or a powerful explosive (use at your own caution). However, with an additional D rank energy the stone can imprison up to the legs of the target seriously restricting movement. If the target is lying on the ground, this can close around their arms as well. A master rank can use this to completely encase a downed target.

Through the use of his own Vibration sensory abilities, Alistair felt the shift caused by the Shade, his images did as well. Did he do anything to really stop it? No. There was no point, seeing as through Alistair could truly go days without being hit, using skills and tricks that used so little energy that the Shade would run out of energy before Alistair really would start to break a sweat. As the image allowed its own capture, it phased out of existence. "Well, that's a start. By this time I would have asked you to demonstrate your power, but I've already seen it. The fact that you lasted as long as you did is a good thing, even if you ultimately lost. But sometimes battle is not the path you need to take. I find that the less subtle route is often the best route to take.I understand that our disciplines are different, Shade. But like me, you revel in the shadows; do not relinquish this cover for meager hopes of attaining absolute power. Your next training is simple. Training in subterfuge has its values. You learn patience, timing, and how to use both of those tools to strike in a way that almost no defense is capable of weathering. I've studied Shades... my... friend is one of your kind, though special as she may be, you hold a few skills she neglected to learn. You have those skills. Use them to trail a friend of our friend, Zachariah. I've been doing so for months now, do not ruin this. If you fail, don't show your face to me again."
Kumori could feel the images vanish around him as he could only feel Alistair's presence through the sensory, turning around to see him once again. He placed his hands on his hips as he listened to Alistair's both good and bad sides speak to him. A small compliment, followed by a crushing truth only made Kumori chuckle a bit. The next training involved in Kumori's own kind's hard work, the art of nothingness. Studied and knew shades eh? was the thought that trailed through his mind as he spoke before bringing up some skills Kumori might know she wouldn't have. This was something Kumori would have to try and remember as he hasn't tried to be subtle at all as of late. But his mind digressed the situation before he heard Alistair speak of trailing this being. His training hinged on success, so Kumori would have to try his best. Thankfully, he did have plenty going for him, and without a defined weight, the only thing that would hold him back would've been Miza. With a simple nod, he unclipped Miza's sheathe and let her rest on the weapons rack carefully. With that, Kumori soon responded with, "I'll try my best Mentor." and without a single trace sans the sword, he was gone.

Kumori returned once more, entering through the doorway instead of the hole. It wasn't long till he found his greatsword that he picked her up first before looking around. He wondered where his current Mentor was, as this did teach Kumori some very unsettling details of what the plan was. He had only heard rumors, but the fact there was truly a rebel resistance planned for the king only worsened his thoughts. He knew there were spies around in this location before he sighed and soon sat down to wait for Alistair to show himself.

All her atrocities come by way of reciprocity, she's chewing the bones of her own reprieve. She doesn’t know why, how, or even the chain of events that led up to this very moment. Like a dream she see’s only the moment at hand and not what led to it, everything comes and goes, free thought to free form. Everything stands out at her at once; the sudden taste of something metallic on the roof of her mouth. It spreads up through her sinuses while moonlight pours in from outside through a sliver of jet canvas. It reminds her of blood, but probably only by association. Her jaw clenches and it shows in her forehead, her wintery eyes unblinking as she steps forward with mechanical efficiency. The woman moves through dark streets, thick with fog blown off the sea. Dusk cloaks her in mist and shadow as if she’s a secret the night has sworn an oath to protect. Moonlight illuminates wet cobblestones and rain streaked window panes but glances off her as if deflected by an invisible cloak. Like the Shades, she’s a smudge in the darkness; born of long and unforgettable habit, she avoids the pale yellow pools of streetlamps. Better to see than be seen.
Bounding up the steps and halting at the landing just before the doors, her gaze cuts to the side. Glancing over a shoulder, the arctic hues suspended in red were aglow, fixating, narrowing, then with a slow roll of muscle she looks forward again. A hand clutching the handle, bringing the door open only to step inside to an old threshold. The way she moves that sleek, long-legged body, grace could be her middle name. In black leather pants, combat boots, and a black tee, long auburn hair swept up high in a sleek ponytail, her face chiseled porcelain beautiful, strong and icy. Besides a thin silver chain belt, she only carries her weapons, each holstered in compact straps that wrap around thighs and shoulders discreetly.
Home sweet ********' home.
Then there is a familiar face, but hers isn't. The mask she donned is her own and maybe, the others had all be shards she discarded along the way. With hands jammed into her pockets, Red strolls along, minding her own business.... For now.

Since the Shade had left, Alistair took to tending to his old facility. As he did so, the man reminisced of the times where everything was simpler. Alistair was king. The idea of it was harrowing, to take on a position like that. As everyone tried to claw their way up to power, Alistair simply seized it. His ascension was simple, to say the least. While everyone claimed the titles of the nation, Alistair was the only one who acted on his desires. It wasn't long before he became the Captain Legate, a position created in the absence of a ruling figure, and given to Alistair. The man who had just revealed corruption in the previous royal family had found himself in a position that he would have never believed possible for someone like him. Being born in low caste, Alistair's family had some wealth, but they lacked titles and power. When Alistair took power, his family's status skyrocketed. Their businesses grew and his family quickly became the most notorious in Nocturne. Though his estate holds considerable power and stature, Alistair's persecution made it impossible for the family to thrive as it once had.
Though spending time here didn't just remind the man of the duties his household requires him to preform. There times where, in the corner of his eye, he had seen flashes of red. Fiery locks that, no matter where he was, reminded him of a single person. With every reminder he was plagued by visions of his past.
Red.
Everything. Red.
A scent. Red.
A cold touch. Red.
Lies to he told the vultures in his inner council to assure them that their king was still mentally intact. For months after the ordeal happened, the king shut himself off in the Estate. He could erase the memory of her caress; of his feelings towards her for a short while. And yet he couldn't. He still expected her be here when he came for her, wearing his jacket. "I loved that jacket, too..." Almost as much as he came to love the woman inside of it. Dangerous feelings, they were. Dangerous to declare them public. It was easy to keep himself protected, and for him to protect the city, knowing that casualties were going to happen anyways. But to always keep one eye open for another...
He wasn't alone anymore. The Shade had returned, meaning he had some form of good news for Alistair, though the hybrid wouldn't hold his breath. He felt another in the building, familiar, yet different from anything he knew. Someone who had perhaps worked with him at one point. Then he saw it again. Red locks. A figure, masked, though dressed as casually as one might expect from a free lancer. Her scent, intoxicating; harrowing to the senses. There were many times he wished to engage the girl,, but his mind cued itself back over to the Shade, who carried information that may prove valuable. His attention stayed on her as he urged the Shade to divulge in the details of the mission. "Go... explain what happened..."
Kumori noticed the red locks of hair flowing in the place due to a weapon's reflection of her as he felt the presence the moment it stepped foot into the facility. The mask hid her face, but he felt as though he knew the woman, as if she helped him with a few things a long time ago. But he digressed the situation and instead heard the voice of his Mentor speaking to him from behind. He soon stood up and moved over to Alistair quickly before stopping only a couple of feet away from him. "If I were divulge now, we'd act too late. We should speak somewhere a bit more.... sound proof." Kumori spoke to him in a silent whisper as he looked around, following the eyes to the red-head. His eyes narrowed at the being before he looked back to Alistair. "Unless you enjoy our spies listening in to us and reporting back to their master. You've already been placed under watch." Kumori divulged to Alistair quietly, making sure none of the beings could hear except for Alistair.
Kumori's weapons and armor can effect skill barriers, normal/skill shields, and Armor.

ʀᴇᴄᴏɢɴɪᴢᴇ ɪ ᴅᴇᴘʀɪᴠᴇ ᴛʜɪs ғᴇᴀʀ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇɴ ᴇᴍʙʀᴀᴄᴇ ɪᴛ
It’s two cataclysmic forces of nature that are stubborn and strong, who cut their teeth on razor blades and live on a razor edge of violence at all times, at least she had. They, them, all this and that. She has learned a few things about the world, about herself, during her sojourn elsewhere, far, far away from this place and her charades. Always the red hair, but never truly her, each was a possession carried by weaker husks. She is savagery born of unconscionable savagery done to her, now given order, and flowing with a life energy unlike before. Here in the flesh and blood, she goes motionless, fist resting as her arms folded across the warm bare skin, she stares at the conversing congregation in a piss poor facade of privacy. Azure ice meets baby-blue steel. She angles herself sideways, trying to get a read on what’s going on by their expressions but it’s like trying to read two standing stones. Only the Shade shifts nervously. Alistairs’s stance becomes even more aggressive, intimidating, coercing. But unlike Dani or even the previous Red, who would have backed away, this Red molds herself farther into his space, demanding her share of it.
Isn't it funny how things work out? Beneath the mask she smiles coolly at them, just enough that the ends of her lip turn up. Reporting back to their master.... A master? A dark brow arcs, curiously. He tries to whisper, to keep his voice so low that she wouldn't hear, but with an empty vast space comes the roaring silence, the sound of breath being taken and expelled again. The rest of his words play out, a quip to the Fallen King. It’s horrifying, it’s bestial, yet in this form she still finds him savagely beautiful but she is no longer envious of how well he’s engineered to survive, to conquer, to outlast apocalypse. Her eyes wash over him like a voyeur taking in a painting, intrigued but only to an extent. She could get lost in pining for the way things used to be, or she could adapt and learn to ride the changes like this nation does, with eagerness to see what the new day has in store and unquenchable lust for life, however it unfolds. That is how she lives, has for months on end.
Glancing forward, Red lifts the mask. Even-tempered, relaxed, focused, and apparently undisturbed by any facet of her current physical conditions or the pot being stirred. Whether she fail or succeed shall be no man's doing but her own. She cocks her head as if holding an internal debate, all too bright blue eyes bore into the space where he stands, as if she’s trying to hammer him into her desired shape with the sheer intensity and implacability of her gaze. He could take what he normally dishes out.
The silence in the room was harrowing, surely for all three of them. Every word that came out of Kumori's mouth failed to register as actual words to the distracted Alistair. In fact, it was like the Shade was in a different world than the other two in the room. Whoever this girl was, Alistair knew her. The man knew her well enough to be interested in her. It was only when their eyes met that everything became clear to him. The second their eyes met, he felt it again. Her breath on his neck. Her fingers as they cascaded down his chest. Her slender, athletic form inside of his embrace. With every image that flashed through his mind, the woman in front of him would also see them. *You remember?... I do.* Every last gaze she stole, every single minute he'd spend exploring her body with his hands.
Though it wasn't always like that.
Alistair hadn't been captain long before a woman walked through his doors. A human. Her face would flush at every glance at the man, and secretly, he longed to see her cheeks redden at the acknowledgement that Alistair knew she was looking. In his own attempt to rid himself of odd thoughts, he sent her away on a mission she would never come back alive from. Her return was... unexpected, and yet the King took it as a small joy, despite his behavior towards her. From that moment on, everything changed. Red. Danielle. It didn't matter to him.
It should have. He allowed himself to feel feelings that were dangerous enough to cause his undoing. As much as he tried to recollect himself after Red's departure, he couldn't. Alistair always expected Red to be there, no matter what. Her disappearance caused the king to lose it. No matter where he looked, he couldn't find her. The distraction proved to be too much to deal with. Seeing her face only made things worse. "I've been looking for you..." As Red unmasked herself, to Alistair, it was like nothing had changed. Perhaps the only distinction was that she no longer wore his jacket given to her after her transformation at Moonlight Peak. While he reluctantly covered up a sight he could've looked at for days, she took a liking to his jacket, deciding to keep it for herself. Not that Alistair cared.
Until now. "You look good, Da-... Red." It was strange. To all of the world, she was known by Red, and yet Alistair still called her Danielle in his head.

ʀᴇᴄᴏɢɴɪᴢᴇ ɪ ᴅᴇᴘʀɪᴠᴇ ᴛʜɪs ғᴇᴀʀ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇɴ ᴇᴍʙʀᴀᴄᴇ ɪᴛ
Immortal, does he tally the seconds as they tick by, stretching to hellish infinity? She digs in her mental heels, determined to out wait him, wagering her humanity against its psychopathy, betting his survival instincts will kick before hers, if only by a split second. Her gaze sweeps down over Alistairs’s body, a muscle flexes in her jaw. She yanks her gaze back up and trains it on his face.
The bottom line is everyone chooses their own epitaphs. Every moment of every day they decide upon the actions that define them -- or so a wise man said -- it’s all about what you can live with and what you can’t live without. They both made it out alive, barely, but not unscathed. The currency of life is passion, and as with any coin, it has two sides: pleasure, pain, joy, sorrow. Impossible to slip a single side of that coin into your pocket. You take all or nothing. While his images ran rampant in her mind, cool skin against the swelling heat of aggression needing venting, a floodgate opening that replayed on an auto loop as he asserts his dominance. Only she pushes back, mimicking his words. * 'I can personally tell you that no one ever gets a third chance. Not in life... or with me.' * What it takes to be the last one standing is an unquenchable hunger to live. He who wants it the most wins. It takes fire, willingness to burn down to your ******** core and she blazes. Under that calm beauty is a force that could make his bone rattle and gut knot until he quakes. She feeds the fire with gasoline, painting pictures of them that would rock his world, while delivering nothing. Thoughts of her slowly, deliberately, pressing the full length of her body up against his naked one, black leather to nude man, soft, feminine curves to heavily muscled, scarred chest. Two wolves stand in this room, with a complicated past and an uncertain future. Then it flickers back to their lips a breath apart, and one can't be quite sure if they'd kiss or kill the other. Probably both. Then as if the whole world turns upside down, it is the last words he said to her. She was nothing. Before she would have been happy to see him, but he lost her. He let her be lost.
He looked for her? Was he blind when she had been right in front of him?
A vision turns steely, narrowing while the pupils constrict. She shifts, of course she looked good. Pushing a breath between her teeth, she gives off a 'tch' sound. Sparks lick at the ends of her fingers before it stops, halting only because she is actually walking towards him. Her gait a simple sway of milky hips, it is of a predator, the kind that doesn't fall prey. It's subtly erotic but contained, strong, an eternal flame that rivals. Vibrant, bright, she is more than the human past could hope to be. Certainly more than the undead carcass.
It happens fast, this sift of her form, and she appears behind him, casting her gaze around the burly bulk and peering at the shade. Close enough that if she raised her head, she'd nearly reach a listening ear. She does it again, body disappearing, reappearing, and sitting on one of the tables near by, crossing one pound of flesh over the other with poise. Waiting, watching.
Kumori could see that Alistair wasn't paying much attention as Kumori could tell where the woman was at all times, so long as she was grounded. She seemed to be just taunting the Ex-King as he sighed and turned to keep an eye on the lady. It wasn't long before she began to move quickly to be behind Alistair, but Kumori noticed her facial features without the mask and came to a chuckle fairly quickly. "And here I thought the devil of a woman deserted us." He commented outloud towards her to see her response, before his face returned to neutral as he soon looked towards her. "It is a surprise to see you around though... Red. Where have you gone to?" Kumori asked of her while Alistair seemed star-stricken like a pup, given he was part Werewolf after all. Kumori merely sighed as he backed away so these two could have a moment before Kumori could speak about the plans of Zachariah and the Red-head he saw.
