A little freaked out. It just burst from the woods over there. A freaking hydra...why did it grow spikes after Achilles's elephant crushed it? And...are those pouches?

Meanwhile...James Jesse, former highwire act star, current statesman, decides to start campaigning the only way he knows how.
Standing on the stairs in front of the library, James clears his throat and starts to yell.
"LLLLLLADIES and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! I present, to you, for the first time ever, your current candidate and your future student council president....JAAAAAAAAMES JEEESSSSEEEEE!
Thank you, thank you. No, thank you. No, thank YOU. NO, thank you! No, THANK you!"
James look at the exactly 0 people who are applauding.
"I know what you're all thinking: this school has been a mess lately! Gyms disappearing, riots outside of our hallowed gates, the occasional monster attack and teacher disfiguring...what ARE we going to do about it?! Well, I'm here to say that I have a four-step plan that will eliminate ALL of these problems.
What's that, you say? Impossible, you say? WRONG, I say! I, James Jesse, am NOTORIOUS in this school for my tricky ways, and I promise you, right now, WITHOUT FINGERS CROSSED, that if you elect me, those tricks will be working FOR you, not against you!"
James gives a little bow...and then starts the spiel over, word for word, in case anyone new has walked onto the scene.
