The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Mine?" Raevyn asked, his eyebrows shooting up. "Weird......I wonder why......" He fell silent, thinking. After a moment, he spoke again. "Have you noticed the colors corresponding to anything? Particular emotions, reactions, words, anything really."
((Do you like Devil May Cry?)) The tiger that should be....isn't....

AShriel looked at him softly, thinking. "Well...they respond to a lot. I think. Lixini's fluctuates with every word she hears...err...every time I was attacked, the attacker's colors were really, really dark." She continued to think. "They change in reaction to anything, almost. Very few people are steady, like Jen or Luke." She listed the people they both knew, in hopes that it would clarify things a little bit. Perhaps it could, perhaps it couldn't. Her fingers rubbed down her braid quietly. A smile crossed her lips. The teacher glanced at them, rolling his eyes before turning back around to his blackboard. --Never heard of it, sorry.--

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Hmm. Yet mine jumps around?" Raevyn asked thoughtfully. His face gave away none of his thoughts, merely a distant look on it. "You'd think mine and Lucian's would be very similar, as we're much the same. How odd." He tapped the desk idly as he thought. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shrugged. "I wouldn't know. I just know what I see." She told him as the final bell rang; she stood up, her things already put away. They could go straight home since everything she would take was already with her.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I know. I'm just thinking." Raevyn said absently, patting her shoulder as he stood up. He gathered up his stuff and led the way out of the classroom and the school. He had a distant look on his face, mulling over everything. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was going. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel followed behind Raevyn quietly. At least, she was quiet until they had been about to cross the road, and Raevyn began to walk out in front of a car. "Raevyn!" She called to him, dropping the crutches and bolting for him. Sure, it hurt a ton, but she could just barely stand and run on that ankle.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "What?" Raevyn paused, one foot on the street, and turned to look at Ashriel. "What are you doing, you idiot?" He caught her, wrapping one arm around her waist to support her. "Why in the world did you drop the crutches?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sighed thankfully as Raevyn stopped, the car going by as he spoke. "I may be an idiot, but you were the one about to be run over for the second time." She told him, looking up at him. Now her ankle hurt even more. Could she have run without the crutches? Probably not without falling. Ah, well...

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn blinked at her, then glanced at the fast disappearing car. "Well that's a new turn of events." He murmured, unable to help a small chuckle. "Usually it's you walking out in front of cars." Still supporting her, he walked back to where she'd dropped the crutches. "Sorry to make you run like that." He apologized softly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shook her head. "Don't apologize - it was my choice, not yours." She answered, flinching as she moved beside him. Every time she put the slightest of weight upon that bad ankle it felt like it was going to give. Her eyes gazed up at Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, leaning down to scoop up the crutches. "I'm still sorry. I should have been paying more attention. I'm such a hypocrite." He added the last part in a mutter. "Here. Hold these." He passed the crutches to Ashriel, then picked her up bridal style. He checked the road carefully before crossing. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel took the crutches curiously from Raevyn. When he scooped her up, she squealed. "Everyone is a hypocrite in one way or another." She told him softly, picking herself up enough to kiss his cheek gently. Her eyes looked at his after that.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn blushed at the sudden kiss. "Well, I try not to be most of the time. Mostly cause I hate it when others are." He said quietly, keeping his eyes on the roads ahead of them. The rest of the streets were quiet as they approached the apartment building. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded, smiling. She was feeling better now; whatever had been bothering her earlier was no problem now. Her breathing was calm as she felt him so near. As they came upon the apartment building, her eyes looked quickly about them. The lack of people around was bothering her a little. Okay, a lot. Where were all of them? Lucian's car pulling into the parking lot startled her slightly. Jennalin was still with him... Why?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced down at Ashriel as she jumped. Glancing around, he saw the car. Now that he wasn't completely zoned out, he'd heard that car from quite some distance away, so he hadn't been surprised. He raised an eyebrow as he realized Jennalin was still with Lucian. Then he shrugged it off, continuing up the stairs to their apartment. The tiger that should be....isn't....
