xxxxx Rex wiped his tears away when he heard Gwendolyn bout to leave. He turned around with a smile on his face. Eyes still slightly red from crying, Rex said, "Thanks for the birthday wish." Rex was eager to find someone to just talk to. She seemed really nice and he wanted to get to know her better. "Hey, what cabin are you in? Maybe we can hang out there for a bit." As he spoke, he folded up the picture and placed it into his pocket. He promised that he would never forget about his mother again. Rex felt kind of guilty for not remembering her as much as he should. But the matter at hand was he just really needed someone to talk to. Gwendolyn seemed like the type of person who cared about what problems others had. In return, mayber Rex could help her with any problems she had.
