((I think I'll do just fine without. xD ))

Liao, once again, remained silent, mearly nodding at the other's comment. He simply... didn't know what to say. He certainly did like Wei... the man had been kind and accepting (in his own rough-mannored way). All in all, even Liao wasn't prone to try and hurt the other's feelings (as if he could).

The orange-haired teen nodded slowly as he wound his pale, thin arms around the other's waist. The teen's hair was nearly immidiately pulled back in a flurry of motion-made wind. He tensed slightly, instinctively huddling down. Of course, being of such esteemed birth, the poor boy had never before ridden on a motor cycle - besides, his mother had always been distasteful of such vehicles.

[['Kay, good. I love me some Wei. :3 Although the image of Haro in a bubble bath is quite tantalizing (I can see him falling asleep and drowning :c)... I just stick with Mister Bada** for now. x3]]

Stalling to a stop at a red light, Wei turned around with a feral grin, "I take it you've never been on one of these before," he murmured, his expression nearly cheeky as he eyed the teen with those sharp green eyes of his. Once the light flickered towards a more familiar color, the young man gripped the bike's handles a bit before taking off once more.

It didn't take more than five or ten minutes to reach the mall, and as the dark male slowed the gleaming black bike down to a stop by the curb he smiled a bit. Yes, it was way too cold out to be driving a motorcycle but the thrill of that first drive of the year never seemed to die or dull. "Eh, when do you need me to pick you up, Kitten?" He asked in a lightly teasing manner, propping his chin up under his hands.

Liao swallowed slightly. It must be pretty obvious to someone to experienced in the ways of the motorcycle as Wei (or so he assumed). Truth was, he'd never been let to do much of anything. Life with Wei was certainly different from the one he had become used to back home.

Liao got off the bike slowly, slightly shaky from the nerve-wracking experience of the cold-blown bike ride. Shivering slightly, he shrugged slowly. "Uhhm... Dunno. Maybe a couple hours. Do you have a cell phone so I can call you...?" he asked slowly, making the assumption that Wei would likely be out at the time when he would once more need a ride.
PostPosted: Wed Feb 21, 2007 5:21 pm

Wei dug through his pockets a bit before brandishing his phone, waving it in front of the boy's face a bit before smiling a toothy grin, "Yeah," he murmured with a nod as he picked through his coat pockets, quickly finding a pen. Dragging the tabby cat close, the young man scrawled his number on the back of Liao's hand. "There," he said with a light chuckle, "Jus' so you won't forget."

Leaning forward in his seat, the snake continued, "Don't hesitate to call if you need anything, otherwise I'll be here to pick you up a few hours," he explained before igniting the engine back into life with a careful flick of his wrist.

Liao nodded in earnest, glancing down at the number quickly before he looked back up at the other. "D'you need my number?" he asked after a moment's pause. "I mean... like if something happens... or... something...." he murmured slowly, shrugging slightly as he did so. He had been stranded too many times in his life to not be careful about such things.

((Pleh... what should I do about Alti?))
PostPosted: Thu Feb 22, 2007 1:19 pm

[[Uh, I'm not sure. I still am debating what I'm going to have Haar do at this point...]]

Wei shrugged lightly before flicking open his phone to record the teen's number in his address book. "Well, if that's it then I'll be off. I have to figure out some way to help my friend with his car. I think it died on 'im, or something," he said over the light rumble of the engine.

----

Contrary to Wei's belief, Benji's car was far from dead (which surprised him because he had it running nearly all night). He was thankful he had filled up his tank the night before... It wasn't dead, it was just...stuck. The bird still wasn't sure exactly what had happened but he supposed after that long adrenaline rush started to wear off he just...fell asleep. And falling asleep on curvy, windy, snowy backroads was never a good thing and ended up with him stuck. He didn't exactly have the money to pay a towing service, so he figured the snake was the next best thing...

Liao nodded slowly and then, after giving the other a small wave, he turned and headed towards the mall which, really, was quite a lot larger than he had ever thought it could be. Oh dear... with his sense of direction, this just might spell disaster. But there were (very confusing) maps near the enterance. So he'd be fine. He hoped.

And so, with that departing thought, he began to shop (or at least try to -- it was rather hard to make his way around all the other people when he had always been accustomed to some sort of isolation).

((Pleh. Crap... but it's something... O: ))
PostPosted: Mon Feb 26, 2007 5:33 pm

With a wave the young man was off, his phone pressed against his ear as he called the bird. "Oi, Benji, where are you again? ...Hn, okay. I'm at the downtown mall so I'll probably be ten minutes or something."

A little more than ten minutes later, Wei was surveying the damage done, squinting as he eyed the younger man's car. "Damn. You definitely got it stuck. What the hell do you expect me to do?" He asked, glaring at the clearly sheepish-looking bird. "What, you called me here to keep you wamr? Seriously, what do you want me to do?"

Half of Wei's irritation was spurned on from having to come outside in the very cold weather. he just wasn't suited for it with his genetics...

Benji turned his head towards the ground, "No I just- I just needed someone to push while I tried to back my car out, that's all," he said in a lightly hesitant tone, glancing a bit at Wei before turning towards him fully. "Or I could push and you could drive, it doesn't matter to me," he added with a weak grin.

The snake rolled his eyes before shrugging, "I'll push. You owe me so much though," he mumbled, watching Benji flinch as his eyes hit the ground once more.

"I thought you were going to...punch me or something," he murmured, glancing at the snake before heading towards his car. The older man grinned a bit at the comment, explaining that he was trying to live his life with a bit less anger and added that he wasn't exactly mad at Benji.

It took about ten minutes of hard pushes and scrambling of wheels but Benji's car finally slid back onto the road with a heavy sigh of relief from both men. Wei leaned against the love bird's car door, green eyes narrowed as he grinned. "When're you goin' to repay me your debt~? If you're not horribly busy I have a way to clear you of everything," he murmured, tapping his temple a bit before leaning in further through the other's window. "What do ya say?"

"I don't want to...hurt anyone, okay? I was stupid to even think about helping you out the first time around so-" The snake interrupted him, explaining cooly that no one was going to get hurt as long as his plan went along smoothly (which they never did but he wouldn't tell Benji that). Wei watched with a careful smile as the bird wrestled with the idea.

After a long, lingering sigh, Benji muttered a soft, "...Fine."

"Wonderful~ I figure you know hwere to meet me?"

[[AAAAAND, it's done. XD I thought my Macbeth worksheet would take me longer but, huzzah, it didn't. >w<]]

[[Wow. SO bored it's pretty much insane. x__x;;]]

Haro had long since finished his bath, dried his hair, and shimmied his way back to the room he was currently spending his nights in. Wings folded tightly around him, the small teen shivered a bit as he scrambled to get dressed. His lightning record speed was just a habit he'd acquired over the years and was very useful when it was cold outside.

Rubbing hands up and down his arms, the boy made a complete circle in place before picking out a long-sleeved shirt to wear. It was a nice-colored one, he thought. Very blue, like the sky on a pretty day, and it had this little ribbon that circled the bottom and tied in the back. Haro flushed at the thought of it being maybe a little bit girlish...but he liked it very much...

-------

Orange eyes stared ahead, almost transfixed before Benji broke the gaze to stare at the snake (who was cursing over the cold and other things). The bird frowned a bit, green and yellow flecked hair framing hs face as he ducked his head downwards, "Do we really have to do this?"

Wei gave him an incredulous glare, jade eyes flickering somewhere between human and something else. "Of course we have to do this. Why the hell do you think we came all this way? I already told you, so don't give me that face- I'm not going to hurt him I would simply like him to realize that he already belongs to me."

Benji looked skeptical, "W-why? Why...-" The snake cut him off with a heavy sigh. "I thought you of all people would understand. Just because he wasn't... mature enough to really react to anything I did...let's just say I was," he muttered, turning his gaze elsewhere as Benji leaned down a hand.

"I can get you up here a lot easier if you change, just make sure you don't bite me."

It wasnt long before both were on the roof, one looking rather smug while the other kept shooting nervous glances at the snake.

--------

Haro frowned softly, almost pouting as he tugged at the blue shirt. Maybe it was too...too much like a girl shirt. Sniffing, the boy sighed as he fell back onto the bed, boucing a bit as he landed. He already looked girlish enough... Those ladies had thought he was a girl and Shin probably only liked him because he looked like a girl because Shin liked girls too and Wei had said he should've just been a girl...because he looked like one so much.

---------

As Wei ducked out of sight, Benji grinned weakly as he tapped at the window, shivering as golden eyes fell upon him.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2007 3:16 pm

[[ confused ]]

Golden eyes narrowed suspiciously. What was Benji doing here? Hadn't...he promised-? Rolling off the bed, the boy unlocked the window with a heavy sigh, lifting up the glass only a few inches. "What do you want?" He asked cautiously, keeping both hands on the window, ready to slam it down if he needed to. The older bird lowered his eyes a bit, hooking a finger under the window frame before mustering up a faint grin. "I just wanted to apologize for...everything. I didn't- I shouldn't have gotten involved," he murmured, his smile fading into a frown. He felt like crap- utter garbage. "I got you something. Could you let me in for a few minutes?"

Benji almost winced at the boy lifted up the window further, biting his lip as he pushed it up until it wouldn't go up anymore. Haro looked almost excited, bright amber eyes reflecting the sun as the older bird crawled through. "Nene, what'd you get me?"

"Why, dear Haro, he convinced me to come for a visit. Surprise~" Wei shut the window with ease, leaning forward the ruffle the wide-eyed teen's hair. Drifting a finger through an exceptionally long lock, Wei grinned as he rested his hand along the boy's neck, nails cutting through the thin flesh there, leaving small, pinky crescent moons. "Did you miss me?" Wei knew the boy souldn't be able to answer, fingers much too tight around his neck for efficient speech (or oxygen, for that matter). The snake could feel the struggling, gaspy boy's pulse racing against his fingers- it was almost thrilling. Well, it was thrilling up until the point where the boy passed out.

Benji stared as the teen hit the ground with a non-too gentle thump. "I-is...he...Is he de-d-?" As the bird fumbled with his words, he leaned down to check the small boy's pulse. With a sigh of relief, Benji pressed a hand to his heart. "You said you wouldn't hurt him," he hissed in a rather accusing voice, ornage eyes mere slits as he stared at the snake who shrugged it off. "Stupid ******** shouldn't have passed out that quickly. I wasn't trying to kill 'im."

[[DAMN IT. >_> I have to go. You can...reply if you think you can but I'll finish this I swear asap. ;_;]]

Benji didn't say anything, merely cast a nervous glance towards the door before continuing in a low tone, "Can we go now?" He really didn't want a frantic tiger lashing out at either of them... He figured the snake wouldn't want that either- and if the boy woke up anytime soon he doubted he would want that as well. Haro seemed much too concerned about Shin to really care if some of the more dangerous things he did were only for the little love bird's benefit. Wei didn't answer for a few minutes, simply staring down at the small teen who was breathing normally again.

Haro thought about a lot of things while he slept. Everynight he swore he dreamt something nice but he could only remember the bad things- but right then, when he wasn't really sleeping, somewhere in-between sleep and otherwise he started to think about...things he hadn't had the chance to remember for a long time.

He thought of Lou for a while. If anyone had to be given the title of a parent, Haro would've given it to Lou. The grey-eyed man had always been there, in the background when things went wrong. Even when things were okay he was there, with that light laugh of his that made you think you'd said something stupid but Lou would just shake his head and laugh some more and tell him that he'd explain it when he was older. Little birds didn't want to muddle up their minds with thought of love, right now, did they? That's what he'd said. He remembered making such a fuss about it that eventually Lou sighed, settling sad eyes upon him as he brushed a vibrant lock from golden eyes. He said something about love in general and how there were several kinds of love. He told him he loved him, with a gentle smile, and explained that it was the sort of love one might feel for a son or daughter, or sister or brother. Haro had given the older bird a hug and murmured that he was in love with Lou as well.

There was that laugh again.
He then explained the complexity of the other sorts, and Haro quickly found himself blushing and squirming and wishing someday he might feel that way for someone. 'You care for someone so much- So much, Haro, that... you'd do anything to make them happy. You hurt when they're hurt.' He continued by making sure the teary-eyed bird knew that he shouldn't let others take advantage of him for the sake of love. And when that happened it was Lou who had found him. Pressing shaky fingers against the softness of white, all encompassing white, Haro almost remembered Lou whispering something so sad that he'd started crying again. All those memories were a little fuzzy though and he couldn't tell for sure if Lou had said anything at all...

Thankfully, the boy's thoughts took a turn towards someone much more gentle and kind and wonderful and Haro really, really loved him and- Somewhere back in his mind he felt like waking up and making sure all this wasn't some bad dream, because he couldn't remember why he was even asleep in the first place... Maybe something had gone wrong and he'd been so scared that he'd just fainted away into this safe place.

Fingers shifted a bit against the carpet and Wei knew it was time to go. He supposed he could live with his mistakes. He wouldn't draw the kid in anymore than he had. Smiling gently, the snake leaned down a bit, pressing a kiss to the boy's temple before glancing at Benji with a wry grin, "Sure, let's go."

[[Annnd I'm done, finally. That...was anti-climactic, I'm sorry. XD I ...was going to have other things happen but I didn't feel like toturing Haro in that way. u_u;; I just plague him with insecurities from now on. XD]]

Because I need a life, I went and found MY FIRST POST EVER in this thread. I should have started at the beginning of the thread because I hopped onto the scene on page NINE (!!). I went through the whole beginnings of Haro and Shin and picked out random things I thought were absolutely adorable and I skimmed the rest. I guess I never really realized/remembered how freakin' lovey-dovey these two were for eachother WAY before they ever said "I love you."

This is sort of an anniversary, I guess, this being the second of the three rps (I only rp in your two now XD) I ever participated in at this guild. Haro came into being March 11, 2006 (Sat Mar 11, 2006 7:28 pm XD)~ He's almost one year old seventeen! -sob-

Memorable Quotes. ;^; <3

"Are you okay...?" he asked the other cautiously…" [[First thing Shin ever said to Haro. XD]]

"I-...I..." [[And Haro's reply. Baby bird couldn't quite talk right at this point.]]

"Thanks," he said softly. "I'll try to keep smiling for you."

"Nn-nm. N-no, it's fine," he murmured, shaking his head softly. "Pandas are fat, and besides, tigers are pretty anyway, you just have to promise not to eat me," he added, lips twitching into a coy smile.

"They make a noise like a bear, of course," he explained while holding up his hands as if they were bear claws. "You know, that growly noise, I can't really do it very well though," he said with a light sigh, taking a mock swipe at the dark haired teen--although, not letting his already short nails come anywhere near him, fingertips merely brushing against the side of Shin's face.

"Yeah, just a growly sort of noise."

He looked at the other, somewhat concerned. He then put his arms around the other and scooted over so he was right next to the other. "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe." He smiled reassuringly at the other.

---

"Yes?" he said, noticing the other's reddened cheeks. Had he noticed that Shin had been watching him? He gulped slightly guiltily and felt his face burn as well. "What is it?" [[Caught in the act. XD Poor Shin~]]

"Mm..." Glancing back with a tiny smile, Haro placed a hand on the tiger's chest lightly, fingers trembling just barely.

"What...what do you-"

How was he going to make this make sense?
He didn't really know exactly what he was asking for...

"What do you look like...when-"
He frowned softly, fingers curling into a ball as he tried to think of a way to get his question out. "What do you look like when you're...not really a tiger, b-but not a human?' He asked finally, curious eyes fixated on icy blue.

---

He probably smelled enough like Shin already, he didn't really need, or really want, to spend a night in his room, which would just make the snowy smell last longer.

"I...can go in your other bedroom," he murmured slowly, glancing at the door almost impatiently. [[I'd like to point out Haro would be much more inclined to sleep in Shin's room now. I just thought this post was ironic.]]

---

"I'll make sure to tell you if if...anything's wrong," he murmured with a faint smile. He'd like to think he would, but there was really no guarantee...and apparently Shin might think the same thing, so as to assure the older teen Haro leaned forward, fingers scratching at white and black ears lightly. "I promise." [[Liar.]]

---

Leaning over, the boy lightly kissed the tip of Shin's nose. "I think you sh-should leave soon, I w-wouldn't want you to get...to get sick," he murmured, jabbing a finger into the air and waggling at the other as if his words were the laws of the land. But of course he was in Shin's house and the dark haired teen could really do whatever he wanted. Haro really did hope he listened to his suggestion though, because he was tired and he thought he would've liked kissing somewhere else but after all that talk about regretting things he wouldn't dare. [[Hah. Kisses to the nose. XD]]

He smiled. "Well, I'm sure if you want them to be, then your kisses will be very special." Without conscious thought, he was now standing even closer to Haro than ever. He could see every one of the boy's eyelashes. He seemed to come out of a daze, for the first time realizing just how close he was to the other - and that the boy wasn't moving away, either. His face flushed slightly, but he didn’t move away. He couldn't. And worst of all, it felt natural to be here, so close to the other. He decided not to think for now. He could feel the other's breath on his skin... He leaned down slowly and his lips met the other's in a soft caress that was barely there. [[-sniff- Their first kiss- ;3;]]

The much too lean boy leaned in against Shin, breathing in deeply against his neck before laughing. He smelled nice. Not so much like the cold anymore, nor could he pick out the feline fragrance--it was just nice, pleasant...calming almost. He didn't really know much of what was happening in the movie, his usually wandering attention was fixated on the older male's steady breathing. It made him feel even more tired, watching his chest rise and then slowly fall...Rise...and...and then it...and then-

Closing his golden eyes, the younger teen mumbled something incoherent under his breath before falling asleep against the other.
[[Besides when Shin slept with Haro in his tiger form, this was the first and only time they fell asleep with eachother. XDD]]

He paused a moment and swallowed the last remnants of cake in his mouth. He leaned forward, carefully placing the cake plate down, and kissed Haro on lips. It was still a gentle kiss, but definitely more than a butterfly touch and it lasted longer. He pulled back slightly, but their faces were still close. He smiled. "I don't think I'd mind being yours," he said softly, his blue eyes seeming much warmer than the icy glaciers they could sometimes be.

Flushed and breathing much more quickly than normal, the younger teen rested his, now free, hand against his temple for a few moments before leaning into the older male's touch. Slowly letting his hand slide downward until it just barely whispered across the other's, lingering over it with extreme care, a simply lambent gleam brightened the boy's pink dusted features.

The glass still clutched carefully in one seemingly shaky hand, the teen leaned in close, lips just barely brushing up against Shin's, "Does this mean you like me?" He asked in a murmured, if not slightly coy, tone.

He smiled. "I suppose that one way of saying it.... Yes, I like you..." His voice was soft and smooth as ever, the smile on his face just as unwaveringly kind and gentle as it had always been. "How about you...? Do you like me, Haro?" he asked, his tone slightly teasing.

Haro smiled softly at the gentle pressure against his forehead, fingertips habitually brushing his bangs back into place. Before Shin could straighten himself back up, the boy brought one hand to the tease the dark strands of hair that fell against the back of the other's neck. Pressing a much harder than intended kiss to the older teen's lips, Haro winced slightly, he supposed in his eagerness he could be a little rougher than he liked. Easing back from the tiger painfully slow, the boy quickly made sure he hadn't hurt Shin before whispering against his neck,

"I...want to be your's...if that's okay."

---

Just barely pressing a kiss to Shin's temple, the younger teen whispered something he couldn't say otherwise, when the other was awake. Not now anyway. [[He whispered that he loved him, incase you're wondering. XD]]

The frown became more prominent as the other made an obvious attempt at feigning wellness. "Haro... I... why won't you ever tell me?" he asked, sounding slightly hurt. It was mainly just concern for the other... but there was also a genuine need inside himself to make sure that Haro was alright.

He paused a moment and then, finally, laid a pale hand on the small teen's shoulder. "I... I... it makes me feel useless...." he murmured quietly, eyes lowering to fix on the floor.
[[This made me cry. D:]]

---

He strode over quietly and sat down on the bed next to Haro, his hand sliding out to brush across Haro's before he intwined his fingers with the boy's. "Haro, I..." he began and he instantly felt his heart beat quicken. He... had never said these words to anyone - anyone other than family... and that was... that was different. "I... love... you....." he mumbled quietly, his cheeks bright pink as he leaned his head down to hide his flushing face.

He knew he loved Shin. He was the only person...who had ever been soso kind to him, treated him like a real person. Biting at his lower lip, the small teen started softly, "I've...I've...loved you for a while," he whispered, rubbing at his eyes with his free hand as he felt tears well up.

Took them 91 pages and a little over 10 months.

He was so... so afraid of hurting Haro. But he was also, for some reason, afraid of stopping... of losing... this feeling.

He laid a gentle kiss on the nape of Haro's neck, nuzzling his face softly into that area.
[[And, I just liked that. XD]]

I don't quite know how to say how I feel

Those three words are said too much
they're not enough

If I lay here, if I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

And I will post something here and in Seven Princes... only I gotta do a paper for English that's due tomorrow... 8D;;;;;

[[Yeah, only two other role plays have lasted a year for me and they're both dead. XD One from last of interest (ironically that rp was with my other little muse, Itsuko my punk sparrow/crow demon thing X3 Isubconsciouslyhaveathingforbirds??) and then the other was a role play with Tato (my avatar XD). I probably shouldn't say I rped that for a year because it was very much so off and on.

And it's okay, the only reason I did that last night instead of friday night or saturday is because I'm sick and had nothing to do..and I don't have school today! X3 Woot!!

Lucky. T^T;; I don't know if Snow Patrol ever came/is going to Ohio... I find that horribly ironic though. Chasing cars is still one of my favorite songs of all time. X3 -must remember to make a birthday pic- >>;]]

[/edit] Holy MOHLAY. If a few hours is a couple days... gonk Damn, they took their time. XD In reality I think they've gone to sleep like 5-7 times at most~ XDDDD Poor kids. :c

"Nngh...." Shin had, quite thuroughly, finished cleaning the kitchen and tidying up absolutely everything (not just what he had used in the process of making breakfast), because, for some odd reason, he felt compelled to do so. Cleaning was just something he did -- when he was nervous, or bored, or felt like he just needed something to relax. Cleaning rather lulled him into peaceful state of mind. Now, however, with that done he was leaning back against the counter, his bright eyes closed, tousled purple hair in a mess across his forehead. A small sigh escaped his lips and he leaned more of his weight back into the counter, one hand raising to slowly massage his temple.

Perhaps it hadn't been such a good idea to run around outside the day before without too many layers on. Whether that was the cause (or perhaps Haro's earlier sickness, although he strongly doubted that) or not, the teen was beginning to develope a small and highly unpleasant headache.

((I... dunno what to do with him really. Much as I'd ike him to be all heroic and save Haro or whatever, I kinda doubt that's realistic... Anyway, he's done it a couple times already so it's kinda redundant. if he keeps doing the same old "rawrI'llbleedonyo" thing, Wei'll just keep coming back and it'll get boooooringggggg..... D: ))
