He looked at her for a moment before shaking his head. "I'm sorry...I just..." He heard Chan saying he was going to the market and decided that he should go as well to get ready for his trip. He was about to leave when he turned back to Takara. "Would you care to join me? It looks as though the fresh air and walk would do you good."

Watching as Chan walked away after saying he was going to the market, Takara looked at Kouchi, and nodded when he asked if she cared to join him. "Yes, if you don't mind me tagging along that is. For I know you are in a hurry to get to your friend, is that correct?"

He shook his head. "I welcome the company. Besides, I'm in a hurry to rescue him, but not exactly in a hurry to get to the Isle of Pain. I'm afraid I don't know much about it and the lack of knowledge does..." he searched his mind for the right word to say. "...bother me a little."

Gets up from her chair, she walked towards Kouchi, "Well I'll be honored to go with you and get some fresh air. Something about the Isle of Pain sounds familiar to me, but Chan probably knows more about it especially since I can't remember much right now."

"Orion, is that your friend that you are looking for..well I hope she's ok..As for my past, I'm getting bits of pieces here and there. Chan wouldnt tell me where Raven is, which concerns me for I thought he loved me." she paused for a moment and turned to looked towards the mountains..."The last place I remember seeing him was at the mountains..."

He smiled. "I'm sure he'll be fine until I come for him." His smile faded when she mentioned the mountains. "I am sure he loved you very much," he said. The fact that the mountains were his first and only memory of his past was something he kept to himself.

Shaking her head gently side to side, "Battle in the desert? Im sorry, but you can remind me about it Kouchi, for it seems like we've done a couple of things together and I would love to recall them, if you dont mind telling me about them."

"Well, we haven't really done a whole lot together to be honest. There was the battle in the canyon with the chikushou and thats really about it. We mostly sat around at the oasis and talked." He saw a food vendor and purchased a few rice balls. He offered one to her as he stuffed the rest into his pouch.

Smiling when she heard about what they did, "hmm, so we just sat and talked at an oasis?" she asked and took the rice ball that he offered to her.. Taking a small bite of it for she was hungry but wanted it to last especially when she was enjoying her time with this man.

He nodded as he munched his own rice ball. "We were watcing over some fallen friends of yours." He came across another vendor and argued with him for a moment about prices. He finally settled and Kouchi stuffed some more food into his pouch. "Do you remember how you met them?" he asked, refering to her friends.

Standing there and listening to him talked, Takara couldnt help but think that they met somewhere else before, his voice sounds so familiar to her as if he was in her dreams.. "Ah..friends..do you mean Runa?"
