Maria dropped her no longer functioning particle rifle and pulled out a good old fashioned pistol and pointed it at Syren. "There's not gonna be a compromise. You're gonna slip this cute little number on," she said and tossed her a pair of handcuffs, "then, we are going to find a way off this rock. Understand?"

"To be honest I still don't really know, even Tinker hasn't quite found out where the energy comes from. But it Tinker says seems to work on some sort of high vibrating or pulsing frequency that lets it buzz saw through objects rips the matter on either side apart, supercharging it until it either explodes at the molecular level or is incinerated into a gaseous phase.n Still, Tinker made and educated guess that I was effecting the energy ion close proximity to myself, causing it to act like a super charged particle weapon."

Liz used her foot to kick up a stone and caught it as she followed Reaper and continued talking quietly. "I can only project a limited amount of it though for some reason, no matter what shape I form with it there seems to be a set area it can take up. After talking with Chamberlain about my father though I think I might have and idea about why where my aura comes from can't be explained by even Tinker."

She paused as if thinking about what she was about to say but then came out with it, "It's strange though, the very first time my power emerged when I was younger....there was much more of it. I had no idea what it was or how to control it so it just sort of...flared out. I cut Sanctuary, our mobile headquarters, clean in half, and that ship is at least 3 and half stories tall and made of some super hard alloy that Tinker and Ratchet came up with. But ever since I learn to bring it out at will I've never been able to output near an aura that size."

“Well that seems simple enough. If you had an event that seems by the way you describe it to be traumatic the amount of power you can utilize might very well be held in check by you on a subconscious level.” Reaper replied almost immediately as he climbed up a tree to get upon a roof of a small structure.

“Don’t hold that information to too much praise though, I’m no psychological expert. I’ve just seen my fair share of powered individual in my time.” He paused and thought to himself

She must be relaxing a bit she opened up to me about her childhood… Although there was a pause so at least she still has her guard up.

"Alright but if I'm going to jail I'm rating out everyone involved starting with..." Syren frowned as she placed the cuffs on one of her wrist and pointed at Alexander. " Victor Schwartz Hired gun, he's with JJ's team he was hired to blow a hole through you with his powers but He doesn't want to blow his cover. " She smiled placing the other cuff on. She held them up so that Maria could see. " Just thought you'd like to know. he's also a petifile."

"Traumatic?" Liz said as she followed Reaper to the top of the building. "Not really....but was definitely a surprise when my power manifested, and well....sort of embarrassing to mention. You know, not to many kids, even with powers, have to have the 'Sorry I broke your ship in half' conversation with almost a dozen adults."

She turned the rock in her hand, rubbing her thumb against it as she said, "You might on to something with that subconscious train of of thought. Perhaps the first time my powers triggered even my my subconscious had no idea what it was and only after that it forced the levels down to something controllable."

Maria shook her captive. "Shut your mouth or I'll shut it for you!" She turned back to Alex, "Well? What say you? Speak up."

Maria looked him over slowly. "Any proof? Permit, license? Work or a company or self employed?"
