If they started showing those old Bill Cosby jell-o commericals, I'd totaly buy it again. XD They were funny.
I think Jell-o is actually a brand name. Kinda like, Kleenex. People say, "Pass me a Kleenex." They're just reffering a tissue, but they've come to know the name brand. I learned about this in class. It's something about brand name identification.
So, Jell-o is brand name, but people have come to see it so much, that they just call all jelly like substances, Jello. 3nodding
As for the Jam to Jelly. I always saw Jam as homemade perservatives, and Jelly as the manufactured stuff without the fruit pieces. Jam. Jelly. Jello. XD
Jello/Jelly with ice cream? I've never tried that. I should someday. Is there any particular type of ice cream that should be used?

Nope! Just good old plain vanilla icecream! ^^ I think the cheap varieties work quite well, but maybe that's just because that (with jelly of course) reminds me of primary school age parties... xd
You ever tried raw "jello"? I thought it'd be icky, but I quite liked it, although it's very strong, and i needed a big drink after... xd
Never seen those comercials... but I buy jelly anyway. What're they like?
What is it with people and brand names? Is it just that there's hradly anything else sold? There's loadsa variety here, so people just say "giimehatissuenowimgonnasneeze!" Or something... razz
surprised But I've help MAKE the stuff without the fruit peices at home! It's exactly the same way as with the fruit peices, but you just strain the fruit out afterwards. And it's some of the best jam I've ever tasted. 3nodding And the stuff with the fruit too, but that goes off quicker when it's opened. Mainly because it's not eaten as much... xd
