"Likewise," Train said with a smile of her own, taking a few more steps back to make sure the two Pokemon would have enough room.
Pikachu hovered in front of his trainer, mirroring Tora's grin and issuing a challenge of his own through eye contact, then lowered himself so that he was standing on all fours, waiting for Train to give him a command. It had been a while since he'd battled anything other than the many Ratata and Pidgey that were always around the paths in Kanto--especially the beginner trails between the first few towns and cities.
In response to M.A., Train called, "Sure, but hold on a sec." The teenager took out her Pokedex, scanning Tora and listening as the electronic voice told her the Pokemon's name and a little about it. She looked through the additional information and said, "Aw, man, it's a Ground-type." Knowing that electric moves were weak against Ground-type Pokemon. "Start things off with a Quick Attack, Pikachu!" Train commanded, and Pikachu darted forward, his shape becoming blurry and then seeming to dissapear before reappearing next to Tora and knocking himself into the Phanphy.

Nodding Aidan bid farewell to Officer Jenny before following John. "How many Bidoof are there?" Aidan asked, he had to be sure he could handle this, despite having pokemon he didn't battle with them to much. He just hoped that he didn't let the town down, they seemed to trust him so much, he just hoped that he lived up to the towns hopes.
"Well there are two or three of them, I am sure that you and your pokemon are more then up to the task." The man sounded so sure of himself as he spoke Aidan couldn't help but feel better. "Bidoof aren't the strongest pokemon so even if more show up there should be any problems."
As they walked through the town and eventually through Pokemon Breeder Johns land. Finally they came to a more wooded area and Aidan could hear the sound of something gnawing on something hard. Looking at John for a moment before going forward by himself he stepped past a bush and was greeted to the sight of three Bidoof making there way through a tree. When he stepped into the area the pokemon stopped to look at him, Aidan just stared back at them his crystal blue eyes wide. The two groups stared at each other for a moment before the Bidoofs got an angry look in there simple faces.
Seeing that he had upset them Aidan reached behind him and under his coat he pulled out Skorupi's and Gibles pokeballs. Releasing them from there spherical homes Aidan watched as the two appeared before him and felt a wave of relief. His two pokemon were somewhat confused by the situation at first before they seemed to understand what was going on. Getting into there own battle stances they waited for there trainers command having faith in him even though he didn't really have faith in himself.

Keegan just forced a laugh and shook his head. "I'm going to go to the laundry room..." he mumbled, waiting until he heard the change room door clang shut before turning around, albeit cautiously. He sighed with relief when he didn't see a towel-clad Riza still standing there. "What next?" he grumbled to himself, snatching up the small pile of clothes from the ground and heading down the hallway towards the washing machines. After making sure he had enough change to actually run the washer as well as buy detergent he tossed the clothes in, added the detergent and then let it run. After forcibly slamming the lid shut (and getting a very nasty look from a passing nurse) he made his way back to the lobby, flopping down in the chair next to Helios to wait. He glanced over back at the direction of the laundry room, wondering which would be done first - the laundry or Riza. He groaned and buried his face in his hands, and took a deep breath.
Helios, meanwhile, was staring up at his trainer like he was nuts. With a flick of his tails the Vulpix stood up and stretched, then climbed onto his trainer's lap. The two both closed their eyes, already wishing the day would hurry up and end.

Kirsa hadn't taken long, much quicker than she would expect to put on an outfit that restricting. She had been so speedy in fact, that Sasha had not had the chance to finish brushing her long hair. "Just a second." With great haste the girl hurried the brush through the last little section of her bright pink hair. There, all done. With a sigh of relief, like some terrible burden had been lifted off of her shoulders, Sasha stood up. She brushed the bits of dirt from her bottom and straightened out her top. "Good to go!" she said with utmost cheer, linking her arm with Kirsa's. "Lead the way captain!"
Prickles stood beside her in silence. Sasha always acted like this when she had been away from people for a while.

It was pretty obvious that the woman behind the counter had no plans to divulge her secrets to Jaeshan, at least not any time soon. Still frowning at her, he took the disc back out of the bag and called out Metang, who floated idly while his trainer used the TM disc. Once the brown had turned to a dull grey Jaeshan tossed it into a nearby trashcan and patted Metang, who flexed his arms before giving a thumbs-up. The woman raised an eyebrow at the floating Steel/Psychic-type, obviously not intimidated by him at the least.
Well, if Metang isn't gonna be scary enough, then I know just the critter, he thought, quickly recalling him and clicking a different Pokeball. In a flash of light Mightyena appeared by his side, squinting under the harsh light of the bright sun. The canine glanced around quickly, taking in his surroundings, realizing at once that Jaeshan was angry about something. Almost immediately his hackles rose and a deep, threatening growl began to rumble in his throat. Ears laid flat against his head, the Dark-type glared at the female human and let out a sharp bark.
The expected reaction happened almost instantly, and the woman gulped and took a step back. "Fine, fine," she grumbled. "Just call that thing off already," she said, pointing a trembling hand at Mightyena. As soon as the canine was returned to his ball she placed her hands on her hips. "Yeah, I remember you from last night now," she said, shaking her head and closing her eyes. "There was a girl," she went on, staring sheepishly at the ground. "I think she was a friend of yours... tall, lanky beanpole of a thing, brown hair..."
"M.A.?!" Jaeshan questioned, scratching his chin. The woman shrugged, and Jaeshan closed his eyes. He didn't want to think ill of the girl or anything like that, but she did seem to be the type who could be tricked pretty easily. Nice girls like her were often victimized by those with mal intent. He looked back up at the woman and sighed. "You've got to give that money back," he said finally.
=-=-=-=-= Flannery looked down at her watch as she approached the beach from the Slateport side, letting out a laboured sigh. She was fashionably late, but she didn't care. She bent down to adjust her lace-up sandals, brushing the non-existent dust from her flame-red sarong. It perfectly accented her incredibly figure-flattering, form-fitting ruby red one-piece (complete with flame decals rising up from the bottom, no less), her beach attire completed with a specially crafted Heat Badge dangling from a chain around her neck. She carried a woven wicker picnic basket in one hand, a cloth tote bag in the other. Her hair was up in its normal fiery position, which was rather cooling in this heat. While the Gym Leader had grown up surrounded by crushing heat nearly all day every day, she wasn't used to heat like this. That, and the salty sea smell was almost enough to turn her stomach.
Tottering along behind her at a leisurely pace was none other than her faithful Torkoal, who would stop to gaze up at people as he walked along, occasionally spewing pillars of white smoke when he spotted a particularly lovely girl they passed. Flannery laughed at this, glad she'd brought him along with her. As much as she wanted to see Mike, a part of her was afraid that he was still upset at her after what happened yesterday, and she knew that if she chickened out and found an umbrella to hide under instead of looking for him, at least she'd have the company of the first Pokemon she'd ever known.

"Hmm, well I don't really have pokemon food here, my little girl's Taurose is still on milk. But if your pokemon are ok eating human food then they're welcome to help themselves." The man said scratching his head as he thought about adding a pokemon food on a seperate menu, after all lots of trainers came by and it'd probably be fairly popular. But for now he had none. He went into the back where he dissapeared to prepair their food.
Meanwhile Crenu took a seat at the Counter and turned aroudn to look at Kasiya. The way her Raichu sat on her shoulder affectionatly wrapping her tail aroudn Kasiya's shoulder reminded him of how Ariados use to sit atop his head, before she evolved of course. He no longer showed his pokemon that type of attention, but only cared about their battle potential, and seeing the two almost made him miss those days. But no, that wasn't the way he was anymore. The Rocket grunt defeated him so easily, he wanted nothing more than to be stronger than that, stronger than anyone. From what he had heard, Rocket members were as cold to their pokemon as could be, their pokemon were tools for battle and nothing more. There were no distractions spawned from a close bond, no compassion for their opponents or their pokemon. With that kind of efficiency towards battle, it was no wonder how Crenu was defeated so quickly. He would have to emulate the Rocket's regaurd twords pokemon if he was going to grow stronger than them. Still, Kasiya and her Raichu seemed to show the exact opposite of that and looked like a very powerfull team. It was very confusing, and the scar above Crenu's eye started to irritate him. He gritted his teeth and frowned a little as he attempted to put things in his mind back in order and ignor the growing sting above his eye, but decided to push it to the back for now and reached down to pet Ariados as his expresion returned to the calm and collected one he always wore. Ariados, who had not recived this sort of attention since she evolved, was at first a little confused but was more than delighted to have Crenu notice her again. She clicked happily and enjoyed it while she could. "I recognized your Bayleef, but your water type and the pokemon the goons where using are new to me. I can only assume that they are locals and that their pokemon are from this region, can I assume the same for your water type and you as well?" It was a straight forward question that seemed to come from nowhere, but that's how Crenu was.
The old man came back in to the room as the two trainers conversed, placing a bowl of Ramen on the counter and a plate of Takoyaki infront of Crenu. He went back into the kitchen as he did have other orders to fill.

Karri eyed Mike warrily. She did not like his snarky little comment, but she kept it to herself. No need to upset Mitsu after all. The comment probably wasn't even intended to harm her. Mike would not do that. And it better not have been. Mike would definately not like a face full of ranting from her. She smirked. Perhaps she was being a bit egotistical, but having the power to swallow the universe into a black hole and tormeting people's mind did that to a person from time to time.
Mitsu lips twitched just a tiny bit, she could tell he was annoyed. "I guess you're right. I couldn't picture you passing up an event like this," she chuckled lightly. Feeling a tingling sensation build in her fingers she roughly shoved them into her pockets of her khaki board shorts, trying to do so as casually and quickly as possible. But she had never been smooth, so it looked a bit awkward. She prayed that he would not question her. While her actions were awkward her excuses were borderline believable if not hilarious. They glowed a faint pink signalling the beginning of an internal healing process. Emotion or mentality was what she chalked it up to. She had better be careful least she be discovered.
The other had by now dispersed leaving just the two of them. Karri herself had floated to the shoreline though keeping the purple hair teen in her sights. Mike, I need to talk to you. No, no, that sounds like trouble. Erg. I'll just . . . say it . . . and if he hates me afterwards . . . then whatever! She held back the impluse to clench her eyes shut, managing it fairly well as her hands glowed a stronger pink. I really need to learn how to control that, she thought a bit aggrivated with her uncontrollable powers.
"Hey Mike, can we talk?" she asked trying to keep her voice even. Why was she so nervous! I mean it's not like I can get rejected, it's practically already happened! She didn't wait for an answer before continuing. "Just thought I'd finally tell you that I have a crush on you," she said before correcting herself, "well had a crush on you." She gave him a weak smile, the best that she could muster. She hoped this wouldn't ruin his day. Though that thought didn't didn't help ease the moment. Now more than ever she wished she could turn invisible or maybe match her surroundings like a Kecleon. That would definatly be a bonus right about now.

It was safe to say that Riza completely lost track of time while in the shower, the hot water creating a sort of safe haven from which she did not want to leave. She guessed it was fine though, as she'd probably already given Keegan enough of a show for one day. She smiled coyly as she recalled the look on his face, she would never ever forget that. Her thoughts changed to what had happened back by the water, with the little Marill. If it hadn't been there to help out, she didn't know what might have happened to Sneasel. Maybe she should have captured the little blue aqua mouse after all?
Riza wasted a bit more time in the shower before getting out and drying herself off, then spent a decent amount of time brushing out her just past shoulder length hair. After donning a comfortably fluffy white robe, she slipped her feet into her sandals and headed back out into the hallway to see if her laundry was done yet. Sure, she may be proud of her body and all that, but she still didn't feel like being practically naked in the company of everyone.

Kasiya nodded at this, knowing that her Pokemon would probably be fine with whatever was brought for them, although when the man mentioned that the young Tauros was still on milk, it made her wonder about Nova. She was definitely a baby, and for a moment Kasiya felt a wave of panic wash over her as she realized she didn't know what to feed her baby Charmander. She took a deep breath and sighed. If anything, she'd find out soon enough.
Crenu's inner musings went unnoticed by the blonde, though she did smile at the affection he showed to his Ariados. The spider definitely intrigued her, and she couldn't help but wonder where he had captured her. His question, however straight forward wasn't very surprising to Kasiya, as she had a tendency to do pretty much the same thing. "You mean Levi," she said with a smile. "She's a Marshtomp, evolved from a little Mudkip only a few days ago," she said thoughtfully. "And yeah, she is a Water-type, but she's also part Ground-type. I'm not actually sure where she's from, but I'm actually from Kanto." The part about the bugs intrigued her though, and she stood up quickly, causing Shocker to jump down onto the counter. She ran into the back to get her PokeDex from her locker, already scanning through it by the time she got back to the room. "The pudgy yellow Pokemon was a Makuhita," she said, oblivious to the food that had been set down in her absence. "The blue bird was a Taillow, and the the bugs were Dustox and Masquerain." Still wary of the Ariados nearby, she slid the device down the table a bit so Crenu could look. "As far as I know they are all from this region."
=-=-=-=-= "I don't have to do anything," the woman replied defensively, folding her arms across her chest.
Jaeshan sighed, scratching the back of his head, his mind racing for a solution. He glanced at her again, spotting a few Pokeballs tethered to a belt on her waist. "Okay, I have an idea," he said finally, straightening up. "You must be a trainer, right? If so, let's battle. If you win, I'll give you double what you took from my friend, and forget all about this. If I win-"
"-I'll give you back the money I took from your friend," the woman finished quickly. She seemed to think it over for a minute, but nodded. "Fine, but I'm making the rules. Two Pokemon each in a double battle, no items. Hmm?"
"Works for me," Jaeshan nodded.

For quite a long time, Keegan and Helios just sat there in silence, the latter resting comfortably with his eyes closed. Keegan had reached into his pocket a while ago and had been staring at the object he'd withdrawn from the PC for at least ten minutes - the Fire Stone he'd had since the start of his journey. It was warm to the touch and Keegan could feel the energy flowing through the stone into his fingertips. His heart raced at the mere thought of what this small thing was capable of, and he absently stroked the Vulpix's soft fur while he pondered. "You know pal, this isn't just my decision," he told the fox, who's ears twitched at the sound of his trainer's voice. Helios lifted his head and turned to look at the gleaming stone, its fiery power reflected in his amber eyes. Both trainer and Pokemon knew that if they used it, Helios would become stronger, but at the same time, but they both didn't know how it would affect them if they actually went through with it. But then again, with the way things had been going lately, perhaps this is just what they needed.
The redhead stood up, smiling as Helios scooted up onto his shoulder. "You know, once you're a Ninetales you'll be too big to go up there," he said, and Helios simply nuzzled his cheek. It was a sacrifice he'd be willing to make if it meant the two of them could become stronger as a team. The fox let out a soft bark and raised a paw, pointing at the Fire Stone before giving a firm nod. Keegan knew right away that he didn't have to question his partner's choice, and he too nodded. "Right then," he said assertively. "Let's do this, before I lose my nerve. But first..." Keegan reached around and removed the charcoal charm from the Pokemon's neck temporarily. Helios grinned broadly and jumped down to the floor, each tail quivering with anticipation. The redhead knelt down beside the Vulpix, holding up the Fire Stone. "See you on the other side," he said, reaching out and gently touching Helios' forehead with the red stone.
It was as though a burst of heat went through the Pokemon Center, as first the stone began to glow, and then all of Helios' six tails. Soon, the small fox's entire body began to glow as well, the light so bright that Keegan had to shield his eyes. When he looked back again, the little Vulpix was no more, and standing in his place was the most magnificent Ninetales Keegan had ever seen.

"Mr. Mime! Let's start this off with a Double Slap!" The Mr. Mime shuffled forward to Luffy one of his hands raised getting ready for the slap attack.
"Let's not let that happen Luffy! Use your Fake Out!" Robin ordered with a grin. Yeah she used that move every battle but she could only use it at the beginning, plus it basically earned her some more time since pokemon always flinched when it hit them. Knowing the drill Luffy waited until the Mr. Mime was close enough to him before doing a little flip and hitting him in the nose, how he did it when he was so fat was a miracle. Still it worked and the Mr. Mime stumbled back blinking a few times. "All right Luffy follow it up with your Fury Swipes!" Giving a little squack of agreement Luffy dashed forward and using a combination of his tail and his arms to lay down some serious scratches.
"Break out of that Mr. Mime! Blast him away with a confusion attack!" The Mr. Mime gave a small cry as he was hit for a third time before closing his eyes and concentrating before blasting Luffy away from him in a confusion attack. All in all Luffy had only landed the Fake Out and three blows from his Fury Attack.
"Oh Luffy! Come on you can pull yourself together!" Robin was worried, that attack looked strong, stronger then any other attack Luffy had taken head on before. Worrying the bottom of her lip she watched as Luffy picked himself up and glared at the Mr. Mime from underneath Hats brim. Well that was until he stumbled slightly, it seemed that the slim chance that the attack could cause confusion had. Of course it would with Luffy, he wasn't the smartest fish in the sea. Sighing Robin rubbed the bridge of his nose, and looked out at the field as Luffy stumbled slightly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Bidoof's didn't have to wait for any trainer to tell them to do something, with out any indication all three charged forward in a Tackle attack. Unfortunately the Bidoof's were smart enough, they certainly didn't look it, and instead of dashing at the pokemon they made a dash at Aidan.
Gible and Skorupi made a move to block there trainer from the attack but Aidan waved them away. "No, let them try to hit me instead, you guys try to knock them out. Skorupi use your Pin Missile on them, just try not to hit me or Gible. Gible knock one of them to the side with your Dragon Rage, try to keep that on to the side." Aidan ordered doing his best to get away from the Bidoof's attacks, there were a few narrow misses but Aidans long legs let him move a bit faster then the simple Bidoofs.
Gible and Skorupi looked at each other for a moment, this wasn't a normal thing trainers would do. Still they had there orders and they would do there best to not let there human down. Nodding to each other the two of them set about trying to defend their trainer. Dashing forward Gible picked the Bidoof that was lagging behind the most and drove into its side with her Dragon Rage. Skorupi stood back and braced his small feet to the ground before letting out a volley of pins.
Very soon the two trainers had squared off away from the bazaar, with the woman getting someone else to temporarily run the TM stall. The woman, who's name was Janice, as Jaeshan found out, seemed more than eager to jump into a battle. She threw her two Pokeballs out with such force that for a moment Jaeshan began to wonder if maybe he'd made a bad choice in this challenge. When he saw the two Pokemon, however, he smiled. The first was a large brown and green Pokemon with leafy wings protruding from its back, and yummy looking fruit growing from its neck - a Tropius. The second was smaller, with strong-looking arms and large, sensitive ears - a Loudred. As much as Jaeshan wanted to send out Combusken again, he figured she deserved a rest after all the battling she'd done lately. "All right, it's time for action guys! Let's go, Shelgon and Metang!"
Both Pokemon materialized instantly, exchanging glances before looking over at their opposition. Shelgon blinked a few times before realizing that Metang was actually Beldum, only now he'd evolved. Shelgon smirked a bit behind her protective shell - it would be her first time battling alongside her newest teammate and she hoped that he wouldn't let her down.
"Okay Metang, start off with a Brick Break on Loudred! Shelgon, you start with Dragon Dance!" Almost instantly Metang shot forward, raising his arms high in the air, and Shelgon began to move around in a practiced circle, focusing her power in order to enhance her attack power and speed.
"Loudred, you use Brick Break too!" Janice yelled. "Tropius, you get that Shelgon with a Body Slam!" Janice's Pokemon were also quick to respond, as Loudred quickly raised his own arms and blocked Metang's strike, the two Pokemon perfectly matched. Tropius, meanwhile, used its giant wings to pull itself into the air, and it took aim before coming down from the sky to try and land on Shelgon.
=-=-=-=-= She had gotten maybe twenty feet from the Pokemon Center before she realized something - she'd left her bag behind, abandoned on the floor after stopping to help the girl's Sneasel. Groaning loudly she quickly turned around and began to trudge back, her pace a bit sluggish, mostly due to the heat. She was wearing a black, spaghetti-strap tank top, and her long hair had been pulled back into a haphazard braid that was tied loosely at the nape of her neck. She stopped for a moment to let the cool ocean breeze toss her hair around a bit before she continued, figuring she might as well get another soda while she was at it.
Kindly enough, the nurse had noticed that she'd left her bag behind and stowed it off to the side, in plain view just for her. She grabbed it and headed over to the vending machine, mulling over her choices. She'd narrowed it down to three when a very bright light caught her eye, and for a moment she felt the temperature inside climb several degrees. She knew full well that it was the unmistakable light of evolution, and when she looked over she was pleasantly surprised to see that it had been from the redhead she'd met earlier. The little Vulpix he'd had with him was all grown up now, and she couldn't help but be happy for him. It's so awesome, seeing a Pokemon evolve, she thought, totally forgetting about sodas for the time being. I'll never get tired of seeing it. Still smiling she strolled over to the boy, and stopped in front of him. "Congratulations on your Ninetales," she said, slipping her hands into the pockets of her dark trousers. "You guys look good together."
He blinked a few times, Mitsu's confession finally sinking in. Oh, I was right all along then. Figures. Mitsu was one of the worst actors he'd ever met, so it was pretty obvious that she felt something for him for a while. But it was different now that she actually admitted to it. "I'm not really sure what to say to that Mitsu." He chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his head. "I mean, I'm flattered, but you know..." He didn't think it had to be said. He was already involved with Flannery, she knew that, it was probably what was keeping her from telling him. But why do it now? He worked too damn hard to get that relationship started to break it off. Mitsu was a sweet kid, and he loved her, no question, but it was almost like a sibling type of affection. Maybe more, he didn't know.
No, he had sacrificed too much to be with Flannery. He adored her. She had been his world since the first day he laid eyes on her. Did Mitsu even know how hard it was to just go on talking to Flannery everyday and act like that was it? He wanted to just grab her and say 'I love you!', but he couldn't! Every time he looked at her it was just a reminder of how much of a coward he was for not being able to tell her just what he truly felt. It hurt more than a knife to the heart keeping her in the dark when there was someone right there who loved her more than anything, who would take on the world just to see her smile. Oh, that beautiful smile, those cute little wrinkles under her eyes when she laughed. She was a treasure. This was bigger than some stupid crush! Nothing was going to take that away from him, not even Mitsu!
Pffh, maybe if Mitsu had a spine and told me a while ago things might have been different. But as always, she's too much of a baby to reach out and grab what she wants.
Wait, hold on a minute. That was totally not it at all! Be quiet! Karri will hear that! He said to himself. The last thing he wanted was the Gardevoir hurling him across the sand because of a random flyby thought. He shook his head, holding up a hand to shield his eyes from the sun. It must be the sun, it's giving me a headache. Not to mention, I'm still a bit ticked Napalm didn't win that fight back there. He so had it! It wasn't fair. But even if he was a bit crabby over the loss and headache, he didn't mean that. He of all people knew how hard it was to be honest. I...I know you're listening Karri! he called out. Not that you should! But, I didn't mean that, so don't get angry at me! I'm just...just not feeling well today, that's all. That's gotta be it. He wasn't even really sure that the Pokemon was listening, but something inside his head knew she was.
God his head hurt. What was going on with him today? He was being so paranoid and angry, this wasn't like him at all. "But yeah," Mike said weakly, taking his mind off of himself for a moment. "I don't know what to say Mitsu." Should he give her a hug? Or would that be rubbing it in. Ugh, love was such a pain in the a**! No...a hug would be fine. It would show her that things wouldn't be ruined just because she had a silly crush. He smiled at her, his eyes full of understanding. "It's alright Mitsu, you didn't ruin my day." He pulled her into a hug, just wanting to forget the whole thing. "I'm just not feeling to well today. It must be all this water." He said with a little laugh. "I'm glad you told me about this though. It takes a lot of guts to admit something like that." He gave her a little squeeze. If there was only a way the both of them could be happy. It tore him up inside.
"A water/ground type, just like Quagsire...then it's not from Kanto after all. I've never left the Johto region before, I'm afraid I don't know much about Hoenn." The thought started to piss him off again, but he was quickly distracted by Kasiya's sudden exit and equally fast return. Her Raichu intregued him, she had a lovely coat and looked healthy. It was clear that Kasiya had taken good care of her. Before he could continue his observation od the Raichu, Kasiya had caught his attention with her pokedex. He already knew their names, he remembered them from the battle, but when she slid the pokedex closer to him he was able to satisfy his curiosity for the moment. "So Makuhita was a fighting type after all, if I'd have known that I would have been better prepaired for that Counter." As much as that angered him, Crenu kept his anger in check and remained calm, anger dulled the senses. "Hmm, a bug/poison and a bug/flying... and obviously a flying/normal. I expected as much from the Dustox, but I couldn't get a good read on the Masquerain. And I've never seen a Signal Beam before. Damn, I'm no good in this region right now. Maybe I should get myself a pokedex, or do another decades worth of studying before my next battle here."
After having taken care of some other customers, the old man returned to the two trainers. "So, what'll your pokemon be eating today?"
Riza reached the lobby in time to feel a rush of heat and see a bright glow coming from some discernible source, and when she finally arrived she let out a surprised gasp when she saw the larger fox standing in front of Keegan. "Wow, it's a Ninetales," she murmured, drawing her robe a little tighter as she ventured out into the room, glad that it wasn't as populated in there as it had been a bit earlier. The tall woman from before was there too, and Riza felt obligated to say something, although she didn't know what. "Hey guys," she said quietly, hands in the pockets of her fluffy robe. "I see you evolved your Vulpix, Keegan. That's awesome. He looks so strong," she added, looking towards the woman. "Oh, and I wanted to thank you for helping me earlier. I'm still new to all this stuff and it can get pretty crazy sometimes, so thanks." Feeling quite awkward she shuffled over to a seat and sat down, glancing towards the treatment room as she wondered how Sneasel was doing. Seeing Keegan and his powerful ninetales seemed to put a spur in her heart, and she knew that she and Sneasel could be that strong someday, so long as they kept working at it. 'And just as soon as we can, we're going back to that spot by the water and we're going to catch a new Pokemon friend!'
