“Christ what is it with psycho squirrels today?” shouted Pietro, a little too distracted to notice it was Noko. He lifted Nokosquirrel up to toss it at the foul mouthed little one, only to hear a loud squeak before things got very heavy.

He looked up to see a tiger in his arms. “Er… hi Noko,” he muttered before being flattened.

"I...said...let...GO!!!" screamed the little squirrel.

Wanda sighed. Now she was stuck with a twit brother and an insane squirrel. What did I do to the world? she thought to herself.

She walked to Yukiko and held out her hand. "Ok icewoman. Cuddling time's over. Can I have the squirrel back please before you turn him into a popsicle?"

Jacen jumped slightly when he heard the cracks of a small firearm. He was for the most part off in his little world of pain. There was a small burning in his right forearm from where he knew the bone had broken. Carefully, he stood up with some assistance from Kitty. Surprisingly, she was eager to help him out. He didn't know what to think about it and absently thanked her for the assistance.

"Is she dead yet?," he heard someone ask. Jacen watched Cassandra's body draw in air still, even though there were three wounds bleeding everywhere. He could feel the anger still flowing freely from her being. She was still alive.

"No. She's breathing still. You can tell by the way the blood flows when she draws a breath. Especially due to that wound right there about where her right lung is at," Jacen said calmly while holding his arm gingerly to his side. A few of the kids look slightly stunned at the way Jacen stated that. Of course he thought nothing of it. He had seen many people die from wounds like this. He had seen many people die in and by his hand.
Still, while he watched he couldn't help but feel sorry for Cassandra. He had always thought that being killed in that manner with a gun was cowardly. There was no honor in that at all. But on the converse side, she was hellbent on killing all who stood in her way. At that moment, he understood Xavier's dilemma.

"Professor, give me your gun," Jacen commanded.

"Jacen, I don't think that's really necess...."

Jacen cut him off immediately. "Give me the damn gun, Xavier," he said sharply, "The woman is supposed to be your 'sister' and yet you wish for her to suffer like this? That's not right. Now give me the gun." Reluctantly, Xavier wheeled over after probing Jacen's mind to find out what he was up to and handed him the firearm.

Still in his weakened state, he walked over to Cassandra's body and knelt down carefully. "Everyone turn away, plug your ears, or just ******** leave. This is not going to be pretty," Jacen said as he leveled the gunbarrel up to Cassandra's right temple. He sighed heavily as he heard the footsteps of people walking away. As everyone was leaving, he noticed that Cassandra started to stir more. Like she was going to survive. But Jacen wasn't going to have that. Not if it meant her harming any of his friends. With two calm squeezes of the trigger, he fired two rounds into Cassandra's brain, turning it to nothing more than shredded confetti.

It's over, Professor Jacen thought, hoping Xavier would hear. I'm going to dispose of her body. I know she's your sister and I'll wait so you can pay your respects. With that, he made himself stronger with his energy. Stronger than normal, but he needed the strength to carry the literal deadweight. Then, with a small yelp of pain, he had Cassandra's bloody, lifeless carcass over his shoulder and started to make his way through the basement halls to some of the back acres of the estate. There he knew no one would inquire as to why he was creating a funeral pyre.

Thank you, son. I shall be there shortly. That was all Jacen had heard from Xavier as he had made his way to the back to look for a good place to lay Cassandra's body to rest.

"B-but Wanda... I like this squirrel!" She held it up to her face and rubbed her cheek against its head. "I know! Let's trade for it! I'll give you free snow cones -- you can even choose which flavor -- and this, uh, business card!"

Wanda merely crossed her arms and tapped her foot impatiently.

"Sigh, okay then... but on one condition! I get to pet it at least once a day!" she formed a gun with her hand and pointed her index at it, "Or the squirrel gets it!"

Jamie's eyes clouded over as he turned to leave the room, not wanting to watch Jacen finish Cassandra off. It made him sick that someone could witness so much death as to be so. . . nonchalant about the whole thing. It depressed him to imagine what Jacen's life must have been like. It wasn't that Jamie hadn't witnessed death before, but never a death he could have stopped. He wandered around the halls looking around and trying not to think of what he had just seen.

{Well, I would, but Matties is currently at the mansion. I'll figure something out. Like have him hop an express train or something. I originally wanted to have him start out in New Orleans, and lay some justice on the fangirls, but by the time I thought it up, it was too late.

Jamie walked over to the new girl. "The health area is over there." He said quietly. Professor? Jamie thought as loudly as he could, hoping he was listening. I think there's some trouble with Wolverine upstairs. And sorry to bother you.
